Suzanne Dh and I ate at the California Grill on one of our last trips up there. It was wonderful. We both had the filet also and it was yummy and tender. They make great drinks too!!! It was neat to go outside and see all of the Magic Kingdom.....well what I could see flattened up against the door because Im deathly afraid of heights ROFL!!!

Jiko at The Animal Kingdom Lodge is also VERY good. We had dinner sent to our room from there one night when we were staying at the Lodge. The chef himself set it up. The steak was to die for as was the monk fish I had. They also have some very neat wines if you like wine.

I am really going to bed now LOL!!!

Morning all!

I took some allergy stuff yesterday and just zonked out

Sherry, I didn't even pay attention to the Browns game... definitely wasn't a good weekend for things like that :(

Sorry Rose Mary, the cake was gone early in the morning yesterday :p

Nancy, I love the new sig pics! I'll have to check out Jeff's site soon!

Paula, we watched the show too! I thought it was pretty funny, but kind of shocked it was on before 9 PM. I may watch it again, but it all depends on what I am doing next week with church.
Meal advice? Eh, I'm the worst with that!

LOL, I could see the kids listening to the radio and what bad things could happen with that! Especially if you listened to some TV station with teh soaps on
(I just used to do that at work)

Suzanne, glad I am not the only one who does that with clothes then! I haven't tried anythign with bottoms yet, but I do fit into a M or L (depending on cut) for kids clothing.

I have a kitchen to clean up today, and a few other little things. I just don't want to do any of them yet

Catch y'all later!

Morning all!! thanks for the suggestions. Suzanne - I am definitely a filet girl too - that's the only steak I will eat. I am really looking forward to hving some good meals - not sure if I told you but my friend that I am going with had gastric bypass 1 yr ago - I am so proud of her - she feels very well. I don't think her eating habits will change our eating ont the trip - it will just be focused more on relaxation and less on food.
Oh - I have to tell you what I am doing - sending Alyssa an e-mail every day "Mom's Movie Quote of the Day" - she is really enjoying that.
More later.....hugs......

:wave2:

I would have to go with Le Cellier also ::yes::
And 50's Prime Time is a favorite of ours.
You'll have a great time, Paula.

Errands here today.

Anyone else having issues with teh DIS not moving at a decent speed today?

Aww, Paula that is so sweet what you are doing for Alyssa! How is she adjusting to school?
Congrats to your friend on doing so well witht he surgery! That is wonderful!

Enjoy your errands Nancy!!!

I have to admit, I am a really picky eater, so I usually never give out much food at WDW advice. Just because I can't see what would be good about a couple places. One that honestly I wish I got was Le Cellier. I just like meat done well, and boring sides... hard to find stuff there, but I hear it is amazing! I'm a counter service chick, who does have one sit down she will do a repeat of (Marrakesh). Otherwise I kind of shy away from a lot of the sit downs

Good morning/afternoon Y'all-Y'alls

All of the Disney food talk is making me think of all the different places I want to try now.

I'd say in the 2 trips I've made as an adult, I have only eaten at San Angel Inn, and Chef Mickeys for "sit down meals"

One, I'm cheap...Two, I've never spent more than 3 days in the parks in a row, so counter service and food we brought with us have been enough.

For this trip I am already planning CRT for lunch, Crystal Palace, and maybe even Donald's Breakfastasaurus.

I'll only be in trouble if I wind up eating enough to regret not purchasing the dining plan. Quite frankly, I think I'll still be safe ;)

Alan, maybe I ought to show you a couple more places to eat... I'm sure you'd like them :p

Howdy Sherry! How are you feeling?

I ran an errand or two this afternoon. Luis now has a token gift to open tomorrow for his birthday and a card. I'll let him decide tomorrow what he wants to do for dinner :)

Otherwise kind of boring here... boards are still slow for me too.

LOL...Alan ;)

We love the sit-down restaurants. I think we plan on getting to them all sometime. We try to add a few new ones every trip....which is getting harder, because we also have our favorites that we have to go back to.

Errands were fine......:) Costco is alway fun....but expensive

  grumble....grumble.....boy genius has me grinding my teeth today...

Had to try out the new countdown--3 cheers for Jeff!!!!

Love ya'll, mean it!!! Gotta dash, Dave has burgers ready for dinner and we have bell choir tonight. Hope to get back later in a better mood! :grouphug:

Still bugs in those counters and he isn't going to fix them. They might not be around long...taking too much of his time and bandwidth :(

Too bad, they are so cute.

I want a burger, Beth ::yes:: All alone, so don't know what will be for dinner.

Alan, you're a goof!

Long afternoon... kind of eating my way through it to feel better. That and all the junk food will be gone so I won't be tempted :p

But I will be powerwashing tomorrow. Hopefully I can get it all done!

Nancy, the new countdowns he did were pretty cool. I wish I knew how he did that and I would do it myself on my own server for my friends. However, I'm not as keen on the look... I like seeing days *sigh*

Bethie, hope your evening improves!!

Off to finish off our Havarti cheese... once that is gone, I'll be thrilled :teeth:

:wave2:

Been busy with kids, work, and my parents 50th Anniversary this past Saturday!!

Mad love to one and all!! :lovestruc

Tiara dear!!! I need your sense of humor bout life now, please ::yes::

Pam, congratulations to your parents! That is wonderful to hear :)

HOpe to see you stop in more though

just kind of blah... we had flooding in the basement due to a pipe that had to have burst years ago that the stupid owners NEVER fixed! Broke a favorite pair of shoes, and stubbed my toe (in addition to other things). At least all the junkfood is out of hte house now :rolleyes1

Hey All,

Just got home from orchestra with my eldest. I got lost going and coming home ROFL. Ds says I like to take the scenic route. We were there when the big orchestra was announced and one of the girls from our church who often plays during worship time is in the Big Orchestra. I never knew. It was neat to see her there. She is Oh So talented. She writes her own music for both the cello and the piano and it is beautiful.

LOL forgot to post that two hours ago!

Good evening Y'all Y'alls.

Lainey, if nothing else congratulations on getting rid of the junk food ;) I hope it was a pleasant task.

Mrs. AA will be getting a stress day off by me coming home to help out with some things in the house that need going through.

Wednesday she will get another stress day off by me going back to work :teeth:

Hi all, drive by here.

I'm psyched...we got an invite to a PRP wine event on Saturday night, and Jill will watch the boys for a couple hours for us to go! :cool1: A real live date night! Woohoo!

Resume your normal DISing!

Suzanne
