Dh cannot find her and it looked this afternoon as if there was a scuffle on our front porch. My candle was down on the ground as was a small flashlight. We have no idea whats going on. Dh checked the whole neighborhood but she never really strayed beyond our house and the houses on either side of us. Im really sad and upset right now.

Evening, all. Enjoying a nice glass of wine (savoring since dinner an hour ago) and listening to Ed read HBP to the boys.

Bethie, I dunno if Goldmine magazine is online-that was always my resource. I used to DJ-clubs and two radio stations. I have about 4 milk crates filled with 45s, they were great for lugging them into the clubs. Google "Goldmine" and "records" and you might find them.

Karen, woofreakinghoo about that Fantasmic dessert party. Let me know how it is-looks like we'll be in Cali late Feb/early March, before we get into the nitty gritty of opening the store after the remodel Can't say more.

Wow-mom's been on that painkiller patch and she sounds like herself on the phone. We've had a slight change in plans-I'm not going over there to cook tomorrow, may wait until Monday morning to go do laundry for her if they don't need me to cook. Stepdad makes burgers-and very basic stuff, so I'll have to do the cooking after PET scan and surgery.

Feeling pretty good, got three people hired today! Kinda hard making my schedule with 5 people when I need 15!

Off to peruse and build that post count up. Thought I'd have done the 5k yesterday!

My buddy Dan has an 8-track player in his fully restored 1979 Trans Am. I have been collecting all of the 8-track tapes that are donated to our church's two annual rummage sales. Seems that nobody buys them anymore and they are glad that we take them off their hands (for a small donation, of course).

Now that is very cool!!! I am just thrilled that we have a working 8 track player in my family!!!!! I ought to check out your rummage sales too

Cake is baked and decorated. I'd show pics, but I'm not that thrilled. I was tired and wanted it done!

Sorry Karen, a similar thing happened when we lost our cat. We figured he just went off like cats like to do when they die

Suzanne, cake smelled wonderful, batter tasted great, icing was decent (nothing special) so I'll let you know how it goes tomorrow when we eat it

DD called the landlord today and they said her apartment in one of 2 that is on the top priority list to have the windows replaced. As soon as the windows arrive, they will be installed - no later than October. Now I just have to ride them about that fire escape door - you can see daylight - definitely won't do for the cold months.

We lost the football game. Can I say that the danceline was pretty bad?

Here's a blast from the family past:

April 28, 2001, 5:15pm, Chef Mickeys. Our First trip to WDW, Kevin is 21 months, Neil had just turned 5. Two hours later, we monorailed over to MK and went through the gates for the first time with me as a CM, and Ed jumped up and down!

I can't get over how SMALL Kevin was that trip. That kid now bugs me to do stuff we only did that first trip-and without any prompting, either!

Goodness! Ya'll moved house while I was ... moving ... house.

*waves* I'm enrolled! I have a Yale hoodie and everything. And I'm busy as all get out, but that was to be expected I guess! The move went pretty well, all things considered. Though remind me if/when we move back that I want to hire someone to do it for us. Still in the process of getting everything settled down/unpacked/straightened out, but it seems like everything's working out, slowly but surely.

I hope to be able to poke my nose in here a little more again as my school schedule shakes out, but I wanted at least to say 'hey' to everyone.

Been a busy week this week. And on top of that, we've all had stuffy noses and sore throats.

Inlaws are with Junior right now getting the moving truck. They are packing up today. We're going over later for dinner and to say goodbye. They are supposed to leave around 4 a.m. Junior will be back on the 21st. Its gonna be a looong 10 days.

Okay, I'm here after having some stupid connection troubles! I had a good time with the family with the cookout. Cake tasted pretty good too!

Tiara dear, in all sincerity, I do totally admire the way you are able to laugh at yourself like that. Must be why I enjoyed hanging with you (Grumpy in tow included... and he promised to behave this year )

Can't watch the game... I'm nervous even w/o watching. I can't believe our 2nd game of the year is us against the #2 team in the Nation... this sucks! Hopefully I can get to bed sometime soon.

If we win, I'll wear my new OSU shirt that is a yellow raglan type w/ Ohio State written in red. If we lose, I wear my black zip up sweatshirt.

We shopped for new clothes for me with OSU on it. None old ones fit Was tempted to try on a kids jersey, but not sure that is a look for me!
