Came home and hurried to do laundry as I wasn't sure what the heck Ophelia was gonna do. What a strange storm!
Nice to be home for a bit.
Gonna watch football today and chill! Back to the daily grind tomorrow

Welcome home Rose Mary! I do agree, Ophelia is a strange storm! It looks like the Carolinas are going to get the worst of it. Or so I saw from last night (who knows if she has changed her mind or not)

Elaine...wwe didn't make it to IHOP. I got up and Jarrod had already gotten his own "breakfast"....a box of Nilla Wafers. So I settled for Lucky Charms! At least last weekend I go to go out to dinner without the kids...don't think that will happen this weekend!! oh well I'll stay home and try not to beat the kids!!

Got work todo today that i didn't get done yesterday, so I'm going to try and be productive today yeah right!

Well, Junior is on his way to FL. They picked him up around 3:30 a.m. I miss him already. Of course, I have a cold now, too. I knew that would happen.

I am soo bummed about the OSU game.

Gotta get these boys moving. I have to get gas before church and I have to drop off Jonathan at SIL's house. He's going to help her with the baby this morning, while we are at church. My nephew has a bad cold.

okay, so I have not accompolished one thing today! I am however, working on grading more assessments from last week this particular class isn't exactly going to light the world on fire any time soon (well, some of them have behaviors which may include setting things on fire...but it won't be there cognitive abilities that will do it!) sorry...pity me teacher moment.

But on the upside my mom is making homemade chocolate chip cookies with these really neat swirl chips! Yummy!! so I'm going to go make a pig of myself!

Nancy, that's something I've noticed about kids clohting... MUCH cheaper!! Actually I am in need of new tennis shoes too so I might scope out the kids department for the (big kids shoes 10 year olds give or take) I guess I am kind of glad that kids are getting bigger... easier to find the similar item in kids section for me

My Browns lost. Not a good football weekend here.

Boys are outside playing, so I have a bit of a break.
My nose is sooo stuffy I can hardly breathe. This stinks.

Talked to Junior awhile ago and they were almost into GA. They seem to be making pretty good time, even with the big moving van.

Ok so I have accomplished nada today. Guess I fit in with some of this crowd. Did sit at the pool for an hour and a half. Weather was great here today only 86.

Nothing much to report on the coffee date. Don't think there will be another. Just don't get why people can't be honest on their personals ads MEN!!!!!

Sorry about the furbaby situation you went thru. Hope all is getting back to normal at your place.

Hey All,

We have had a wicked busy busy couple of days thats why I havent been on. Got a lot accomplished but whew I have had enough LOL. We started the 40 Days of Purpose at church today and I am very excited about it. Something hit home today and I talked with the pastor and will be making an appointment to talk to him one on one. Its a good thing though a very good and healing thing. We had EIGHTY-ONE kids in Kidz Church today too!!! Normally we have about 50. They are also doing their own 40 Days of Purpose geared to their age groups. My eldest is also doing it in youth but has decided with the pastors blessing to also read the adult book and do the journaling. He wants so much to join the adult class that we go to at 5 PM for the childcare workers but I dont think they would feel comfortable with it. He may only be 11 but his understanding of the bible and his ability to understand, grasp, and put into motion is that of someone well beyond his years. They lovingly call him little pastor at church. I would not be surprised if he went to seminary when he gets older.

Nancy I hope the stuff gets done on Christians apartment very soon. Yikes you can see daylight under the fire escape door? Thats gonna be nasty in the winter if they dont fix it. I hope they get to that too.

Tara I wish my kids would get their own breakfast. Mine just whine IM HUNGRY the minute they get up LOL!!! I have introduced them to the kitchen several times but its not wooooooooorking. LOL!

Well I better go read my chapter in my book for the night.

Dave's work gave me onions So, yes, they are getting onion cookies this week

RM, the only exchanges I know that are taking sign-ups now are the calendar (which I am hosting) and the "grocery-store" type candy one being hosted by kimber79.

The candy one is part of an on-going every two weeks string that started a couple weeks ago called "My Favorite". Everyone will be sending their favortie of the item up at the time.

Hi everyone - I'm feeling a little better today - still however taking the meds for pain - so maybe not feeling as good as I think.....supposed to go back to work on tuesday.
Didn't do anything all weekend - watched foodnetwork - alot!! Last night watched a movie - "Man of the House" - pretty funny - talked to Alyssa online.
My girlfriend that I am going to WDW with came to visit today with her husband and kids -we are getting very excited.....
This would be a good time for all of you to start giving me meal advice - etc....no "fast food" this trip - yippeeeee.

Paula two of the places that I and my family love that are sit down meals is Ohana and Le Cellier. If you are on the adventurous side Boma at The Animal Kingdom Lodge is very good also. The Zebra Dome dessert is to die for LOL!

Went to our storage unit and picked up a bunch of stuff. Mom is now going through a lot of it and trying to get rid of some of it. It's going to take a while though! No dining room table however! It is lost to the boxes!!

Kids are both in bed (well, except for Dennis who feels the need to get up every 5 minutes to tell me something! Oy, its going to be a long night!!)

Would love to really ketchup...but gotta finish burning these cds for my classroom. I'm doing cds of all different types of instrumental music. I can't stand a quiet room so I keep music on very softly in the background. With deaf kids it was easy b/c I could leave it on a radio station. But now that the kids can hear...that's not sucha good idea!! hehehe

Ugh I havent finished my reading. Eldest ds realized he didnt do part of his homework and had a bit of a hissy and then finally settled down and did it. Then it was pick up the house time, get laundry ready for dh time, feed the cat time, and all those other lovely things you have to do at night when you have kids to get off to school in the morning LOL! I think Im gonna give it up for tonight and just go to bed.

Loooooong day. I was at work before 10am, then went to do our management meeting-and that was done at 10:45! It was really good, so I didn't mind.

Lainey, I worked in the children's department at my first retail job, and I fit in the clothes-my coworkers were all annoyed that I'd come in wearing the girls 14s!

Tara, I swear Neil didn't tell Jarrod to do that, but man, that's a page from the Neil playbook. Once, it was a bag of hotdog buns, another time, a box of ritz crackers. He's carbo boy!

Rosemary, glad you're home. Bummer on the personal ads. Been there, done that, so glad that's over.

Paula, what kind of food to you like? 'Ohana's is one of my favorites. If you want a nice splurge, go to the California Grill. My friend Heather (Heathrow) and I went there on our girl's only trip, because it's her favorite. I had the best filet I've ever had in my life. I'm a steak girl, and there's a few great places for it on property. We're the crazy people who are trying to eat at all the restaurants on property!

I'm on a chocolate hunt. Off to get some cake. Yep, Nancy, I've been waiting for the candy exchange. Which reminds me, I need to PM you to request a person if she's in an exchange with me...pay it forward type of thingie
