 Suzanne.....not fun.
Hope things improve for your DM.

We can hope, Elaine. I like that ride a lot.

So anyone up late tonight?

:grouphug: Suzanne....good luck to mom.

Back from BG. Had an absolutely glorious day..weather was perfect. Crowds were thick but we had a great time.
I even got Ethan on some kiddie rides. He had a good time. I'm hoping he is my roller coaster baby!!

I'll post the pics tomorrow afternoon. I took lots of pictures (I'm becoming a mini Elaine :teeth: ) Most of them I took with the idea of how I would scrap them (thanks Beth :teeth: ). Now I just have to find the time to do it.
Going to bed soon, gotta cut the front and back yard, vacuum the house for an interview tomorrow and then go back and edge the yard. Lots of work for me!

Hugs to all!

tara

Good Morning YaYa's!
Hope everyone is well and has some fun plans for the day. Heading off for Starbucks. Yum!
Will ketch up later......................

Morning all! Quick hi before I get ready for church. It must be a bit chilly out... Cleo is awfully clingy/snuggly ;)

Suzanne, that sounds a bit scary for your MIL! I do hope her recovery will go well for her!

Nancy, I love that ride myself. Not entirely sure why either. I just hope you can get on it. Though how long until your next trip?

Awww, I am so proud of you Tara :teeth: Can't wait to see the pics!

:wave2: Hi Rose Mary!

Well I had better get moving! I will catch y'all later!

Morning All,

Just a quick hi before church. I am in awful pain this morning. If it werent that it is Missions Sunday I would not be going to church. Took something for the pain but it hasnt kicked in yet.

Tara Im glad you had a good time. Cant wait to see the pictures.

Nancy good luck on getting all of the costume done. Where you are going sounds neat.

Lily glad you got some good time in with your son. Arent those times just so special?

Hi RM any luck on getting POP yet? Yummmmm Starbucks. I could use some of that this morning.

Suzanne I am so sorry to hear about your DM. Why didnt anyone call you to tell you she was in the hospital? I will say lots of prayers for her and you.

Well I better herd the masses out the door for church. I will checkin laters.

HUGS TO ALL!!! :grouphug:

Morning Ya Yas!

Suzanne, I can't even imagine how difficult this all must be. Praying for you and family.

Nancy, sorry, wasn't up late to play. Ended up falling asleep watching Runaway Bride.

Tara, so glad to hear that you enjoyed the day. Looking forward to those pics. So you are raising a coaster buddy then hmmm?

RM, Starbucks is my idea of a good way to start the day.

Elaine, we missed the game yesterday. Glad they won! Will maybe want to try to make empanadas sometime. We are bored with how we always fix the same thing. At least it seems like we alwahys make the same.

Karen, wish the difficulties would ease up. You are amazing to keep going through it all.

Have some work to do today then it will be out the door for the second long trek of my weekend. Hope work doesn't get into the way of everything.

Prayers for all first.

Next Nov.

Hope those pain meds kick in for you, Karen.

MIL might get to go home mid week.

Getting ready to head out although Dave is still sleeping. I'll give him a bit longer.

Guess I was the one with no on to play with last night ;)

Good Morning! Sending lots of :sunny: and :goodvibes to all the good little Ya Yas!! :Pinkbounc (and this, just for JRKaren --  )

Nancy - sorry I couldn't play with you, DD and I went to a wedding last night, one of girls that took dance lessons with Autumn for 12 years! She was an absolutely stunning bride! :bride:

Glad that your MIL will soon be released from the hospital.

Suzanne - Sorry to hear about your Mom.

Elaine -- it is cold here, too! Yesterday I wore a sweater in the morning and roasted when I walked outside! Today, I am shivering. :cold:

Karen, hope you feel better.

Kim!! Hello!! I remember crashing through the Ya Ya doors several years ago. I skeered you so bad that you hid behind your avatar!! :rotfl:

Rosemary, my DD would be an excellent friend for you - she loves Starbucks! Me? I cracked open my can of Pepsi as soon as I hit the floor this morning!

Tara, sounds like you had a great time at BG! Ahhhh.... Ethan's gonna be your "chunk rider"!! :rotfl2: I don't do thrill rides -- I like the bumper cars, merry-go-round, Small World, and Pirates ride!

Lily, forgot to say that the BaB look stunning!! (Yours and your Mom's!)

DS has his HS Gold Banquet later today. I need to get off of here and dash to the store to buy a dessert!

 to one and all!!

Quick hi... back from church and stuff. Just got a new wireless set up to replace my keyboard that I killed a while back

Lily, I do understand about getting bored with foods. If you ever want more info on how I make empanadas let me know. Though it's pretty easy to do in general.

Hmm... Nancy I think that is too long to have to wait. I'll keep my fingers crossed for you. Acutally I am *really* hoping that Expedition Everest will be up and running between now and my trip in Feb (at the latest). I used to dream of them creating a ride like that and was so excited when they actually did it!

Pam, slightly warmer than when I left, but the cats still are all curled up here :p Good luck at the banquet this afternoon.

Well I need to finish installing this, then give Cleo meds and relax before going back to church later. See ya :)

Back from church and just wanted to check in before I go lay down.

Lily unfortunately because of what I have it will never totally ease up. I have wicked flares and unfortunately Ive been in the midst of one for the past month. I figure this way though I can either lay down and croak so to speak or just keep moving and living life, I can cry or I can laugh...I choose to laugh. I am not going to let this get me down. I made commitments to my God, my church, the childrens ministry, my kids and my husband...not exactly in that order and I need to keep those commitments regardless of the pain Im in. Though I said if it werent missions sunday I probably wouldnt be going to church more than most likely I would have gotten dressed at the last moment and gone anyway.

Pammy what dessert did you get for the banquet? What is a HS Gold banquet? I remember Kimmie hiding behind her avatar LOL!!!!

Lily I hope work doesnt get in the way of your trek. You amaze me kiddo. You have come so far with wogging. When do you go to Disney to do the marathon? Are you doing the whole marathon or the half? If I can I would love to get up there to cheer you on!

Elaine I meant to say before that I am glad you figured out whats going on with your health and now have a game plan for it to get better. Im glad you are feeling better.

Ahhhhh it is such a peaceful Sunday since I instituted weekend homework must be done on Friday night. The kids are both playing their video games and dh is laying down. The house is quiet and I think Im going to go lay down too.

HUGS TO ALL!!! :grouphug:

Oh crap, can ya tell I wasn't wearing my bifocals when I typed up my post! :rotfl: It's my son's high school GOLF banquet!

I bought half a sheet cake - yellow flavored.

Elaine - the darn banquet is in a shed on the golf course - it doesn't close in on all 4 sides. Methinks we will be a chilly group as the students, coaches, and whatever parents play a scramble first (this started at 2:30 and of course my guys were late in leaving.....). We have the banquet at 6:00 pm, just when the sun goes down and it will be very chilly!

Well, I am wireless now on my keyboard and my mouse. Me thinks I will be spending more time typing and DISing from bed since I can see the monitor from the corner. Should be nice :p

Karen sounds like a nice quiet weekend there for y'all!

Pam, I have a feeling that is going to be a really chilly banquet there! Not inside or during the daylight hours... yuck!

A bit sleepy here and halfway in the mood for ice cream. Not quite sure what I will do about that :scratchin:

Hi everyone - lots of drama here yesterday due to heavy rains and flooding - didn't stop me though - I still went to Walmart and grocery shopping.
Jeffrey and I went for a ride last night to check things out - alot of roads werew closed - police an fire departments were monitering the major bridge in town. I took some pictures - I'll post them later.

Today is a quiet day - I worked from 7am -1pm - went to the bank with Jeffrey and my dad came to visit. Chris spent the night at a friends last night - came home and told me that his cell phone got run over by a 4-wheeler.....great. I'm not paying for the new one. Have been snacking all day - gonna make some boneless bbq chicken for dinner with smashed potatoes.

**** I'm a night owl - count me in for Friday!!!!! I'm always on at night but when I'm working I constantly get kicked off DIS - so I'm just on IM.

Beth - how were the muffins? The t-hhirt sounds really cute!!
Pam - happy belater birthday to Gunny - golf banquet in a shed? Kinda takes away from the whole "banquet" feel......hope it's not too cold and the desserts are yummy at least.
Lily - your walks sound like alot of fun!
Elaine...nice chatting with you this morning - how are the allergies? Let me know how you like the wireless set up - Alyssa is thinking of buying that for Ryan for Christmas.
Tara - hurry that you were able to get some good sleep - can't wait to see the BG pics.
Nancy - youa re quite a trooper with the sewing - your upcoming getaway sounds great.
Kimmie - ketchup or no it's always nice to pop in.
Suzanne - hugs and prayers for you and your mom.
Rosemary - nice chatting with you this morning also (where's my Starbucks?)
Karen - sounds like you will have a well deserved quiet afternoon.

Well - gonna go watch Patriots game and make pudding for tonite's dessert. I'll be around......

Just woke up from a nap... I was cold so I curled up in bed with the cats... fell asleep :p

Paula, always great chatting with you :) Wireless is working fine so far and was really easy to set up. Kind of nice to be able to use my desktop in bed :teeth:
Allergies are okay, but I ahve been very careful the last few days to keep them under control :)

Need to find Luis soon and see if he wants left overs or something else to eat before we go back to church at 8.

See y'all later!

Evening Ya Yas! Day started out beautiful with :sunny: and warming temps! Went to IHOP after church and by the time we got out, it had clouded over and I got chilled. Stopped by the store to see if I could trade hours with someone next weekend and ended up helping with the class that was going on. The manager who is charge of the classroom didn't do her job and prepare kits for the students and the poor girl teaching the class had never done it before! Since I was the one who created the class, I pitched in. :teeth: It helps when the students are so enthusiastic, which they were! Finished up the grocery shopping and came home to try and get some cleaning done. Barely made a dent because I'm determined to get stuff put away, not just moved out of the way.

Sounds like ya'll have having a nice day--Starbucks, trekking, napping and attending banquets (in a SHED??!!).

Yay for Laine going completely wireless!!

Hope you had good weather again for your walk, Lily! I may try to talk DH into doing that now and then, too. Good for BOTH of us!

Pam, that simply amazes me that they would plan the "banquet" out in a shed that is open to the elements! How was his golf season this year, anyway? Is he still plaqued with that smart*** who was bugging him before?

So, you folks who are planning to be in WDW the week after T-giving......Do we want shirts again? I've got a nice design done up and I found a place online where I can get some really good weight shirts, with long sleeves, even! Since it will be cooler weather, I thought maybe we might want something a wee bit warmer. They have regular T-shirts and sweatshirts, too--all sizes, youth to 5X. Thing is, I can't afford to buy them for ya'll this time. If you want me to do shirts, would you be willing to pay $5 for a T, $7.50 for long sleeve T or $10 for a sweatshirt? That should cover shipping them to me and then me shipping them to you in time to pack for your trip. Let me know what ya'll think. I have the time now that I'm not working 2 jobs any more :teeth:

Hey Ya Yas!

Pam, Golf banquet. Ohh cold I'm sure. Hope it went well.

Elaine, I'm sure you will like that keyboard. My DS has his set up that way and really likes it.

Paula, hope that sunshine finds its way there. Looking forward to your pics. Sorry about the cell phone.

Karen, so glad there is peace in your house on weekends now. That is such a good thing that the hw is done on Fridays. I bet they really like their weekends too. Feel better.

Nancy, hope all will go well for MIL and homecoming.

JRKaren, hope your homecoming goes smoothly for you.

Went for a 10 miler this afternoon. DH met me and brought his bicycle along but was not dressed for the cold weather so after 7 miles he took off and went home. It was windy and I really had a difficult time completing the miles. Had dinner and sitting watching "As Good as it Gets." DH likes that one and although we have seen it many times, we can enjoy it together. Doggies are sitting with me and it is a relaxing evening.

Beth sneated!

Hi Beth! :wave2: You are such a good person to help out at work like that again. And, making Ya Ya t-shirts too!

Quick in and out.

Here is our album for Busch Gardens

Please remember that a lot of them were taken with the intent to use them in the scrapbook only, not to put into a photo album.

Beth count me in to the tshrits. I'll get back to you in a day or two.

gotta run!! hugs to all!!

tara

Evening all.

Thought this would be a relaxing night. Nope, got the word and it's not good. The doctor recommends getting all the family that can get here down here, NOW. Please pray for some strength for us-I know, from previous conversations and from yesterday, what my mom's wishes are regarding extraordinary measures. My stepdad will probably want them to do everything they can-I've got the toughest job ahead of me in making him realize that existing isn't living.

Fortunately, my sister Kathi will be here first thing in the morning. I had just gotten off the phone with eldest sister and told her to relax until we know what's going on. I'm not calling back tonight, I'll call her as soon as I get the kids off to school.

Sorry to be such a Debbie Downer. I'll pop in as I can. I'll probably surf the DIS for a while to distract myself.

Suzanne
