Quick hi. No time to ketchup this morning. I tried to do it last night but I was installing an updated operating system and it took way too long and then I had to change all my settings. It was a mess. But hey I have widgets now!!

Anyway, gotta go and try to teach these youngins maybe I should just say I'm going to walk on water or something!!! It would probably be easier!!

Well - yesterday was not a good day - Chris slept most of the day - I tried talking to him - he says he does want to go to counseling - says he's felt like this so far and no one is going to help him - I tried very hard to choose my words carefully - explaining to him that he does not have to live like this - he does not want to hear it and I am afraid. My husband told him he has to go to counseling - I know that by taking Chris side and not forcing I am enabling him - I can force him to go by physically taking him but what if he won't talk???? I thnk he needs to be completely re-evaluated perhaps .....right now I am so worried I don't know where to turn...or even start......pd please if you have any.....

UGH! Mean teacher had to rear her ugly head this morning. I kicked one kid out of class and made him sit in the hall. I have never had this kid be so beligerent (bilgerant, belligerunt,..oh hell you know what I meant ). Must be the full moon bringing out the moods!

Paula...lots of hugs to you. I can't imagine dealing with an anxiety disorder. Have you posted anything on the disAbilities forum. There maybe some help for you there too. Good people over there.

So I am sure you're all wondering and thinking to "your chothers" (baby Cameron word, we think it meant, "each other") Chothers... what has Kim been up to!? *Okay so in truth I know you haven't really been thinking that, but hey, work with me* Well chothers... The fact is, I do nothing. I drive. I sit. I drive some more. Occasionally I shop between driving sessions. I've also decided it's time to learn to do something productive since I do a lot of sitting/waiting, so I've decided to begin knitting glorious and wonderful things. First I have to learn how to knit though. But then... WATCH OUT. I'll be awesome. Also gone back to my embroidery projects. Sooo... while I am waiting to taxi Cam around to his various classes, I will become Soooper Crafty Woman! Sigh. I think I need a job.

Elaine, turn the heat up woman! I know what you're doing... you're trying to make sure the California chick never comes to visit aren't you? Oh and.... costume? Pictures?

New carpet went down in Cam's room yesterday. Yay! Just need to touch up the newly painted walls where the carpet installers scratched it. Urgh. After that, we get his new desk set up. After thaaaat, we buy a futon and then begin dragging boxes upon boxes of boy treasures back into the room. They've been strewn throughout the house for weeks now.

Oh crap, can ya tell I wasn't wearing my bifocals when I typed up my post! It's my son's high school GOLF banquet!

Thanks for the kind words Tara - I didn't realize there was a Disabilities forum...I'll have to check it out.

this is what I have done so far today - put in a call to the guidance office at school - of course got voice mail and no return call yet- hoping I can make contact with one of Chris teachers to update them onthe situation - called Pediatricians office - the gave me the name of 2 counselors - 1 male - 1 female - I will ask Chris if he has a preference - Pediatricial also calling in a script for anti-anxiety meds for him.

Hey All,

Not in a very good mood. Maybe I was a little pushy tyring to get this patient to take an appointment but 1 she wanted an earlier appt and 2 I get heck if the schedule is not done correctly. Well my coworker who is 25 and my superior got on me about being too pushy. Then I got ticked because I have been waiting all day to talk to the director of my sons IB program because he is in trouble and Im not getting anywhere with his teacher. Well my phone messed up and I only got one ring then it went to voice mail. I tried to call her back but no go. When I said I was pissed that I have been waiting all day for that call. I got called EVIL by my coworker and told to just go home....now this was at the end of the day. I am NOT an evil person. Im one of the kindest people you would ever want to meet. It hurt so much that she said something like that. I tried to call her cell phone after I left the office but she has it off. I would just like an explanation to that comment! This is the person that I have said I would work for for the next two Fridays. She wants to see evil I can always renig on those! MY kids are off on Friday and I have to pay to have someone watch them so I can cover her hours. But yet Im evil. So evil Im sitting here with tears running down my face at her comment. Sorry didnt mean to go off on a rant.

Well we have Wilma on the horizon and me with no windstorm nor flood insurance because of that FOOL we used for a mortgage broker. Our friend at church who introduced us to this guy is in the process of finding out what the heck happened and who the heck dropped the ball. I was hoping we were out of the woods and could wait until tax check time to renew the windstorm but here comes WILMA!!! Oh well I better pray there is no damage.

Im gonna go get my jammies on and go sit in my quiet spot outside. I need to calm down from the day.

Oh shut up Tara... you're mean! But wait, does that mean you can knit? If so got any good tips? I seriously haven't looked at it in a long time. And I think I knit left handed which really throws people off when they are trying to help me.

Nancy, glad you got most of everything you needed to get done, done! I wasn't happy with the result of the baking. I was going to mess with icing today and used a cake mix to save myself time. Bad idea... the cake is no where near as good as scratch and it crumbles far too easily. Yuck! I didn't do icing the way I wanted to today... maybe I"ll try tomorrow if the mood strikes!
