It occured to me as I was throwing on a WDW t-shirt with my jeans that this was a navy man whose party I'm going to. which means there maybe single men there....so off came the t-shirt and the granny bra...and on went the push up with the tight sweater and peak-a-boo lace. The makeup is done, the hair is done, the nails are getting ready to be done and I even spritzed on a little foofoo!!

Oh, and to remind me that I'm still a mommy...Jar is running a 102+ fever now! I'm still going but mom will call me if he gets worse. I think he has Ethan's cold from earlier this week. Lovely!

Rosemary -Tinkerbell is my favorite! Good choice! I don't blame you not wanting to work OT.

Lily - that's frustrating that the doctors can't find out what's wrong. Oh - I think you were the one who asked if I actually hunted - well, that's a great big old NO! And I only do limited cooking (some deer, always the turkey) of whatever they shoot. The guys have to clean and usually cook everything they shoot/catch. They are very good sportsmen in the fact that if they won't eat it, they won't shoot it.

Lily, thanks to Pam's post, I noticed I missed the bit about the doc... I do hope they figure it out soon! That's the worst part I think!

Pam, I beat them to the punch and I called back. This time I actually got them instead of playing phone tag. So instead of running errands like I would've liked to, I slept
But now I need to get more kitty food, and make Luis decide what he wants to bring to my cousin's house. Oh and shower too! What a lazy bum I've been today!

Afternoon, All.

Heffalump movie on the tv for the kids and I'm taking a serious veg here. Been to Mom's and back-short trip today.

We had an adventure yesterday! Here's the short version
1. Ed calls at 4pm-brakes aren't working
2. I go get kids (coworker got in 1/2 hour early so I could get there)
3. scramble to get $$ for gas at home (on E, and it's Ed's payday)
4. take the hour to get to his job, he gave wrong intersection for his PO!
5. Get him, go to cash his check, then to walmart for brake fluid
6. back to the PO w/the brake fluid-cross our fingers that that's all the jeep needs
7. it works, drive home to change shirts and get dinner (at 9:45pm!)
8. on the way to restaurant, got a call from work-deposit off by A LOT
9. Ed and kids sit in car, I spend an hour and a half finding and fixing problem
10. McD's on the way home (12midnight), forget our fries-no wonder why she looked at me funny when I asked for BBQ sauce for the fries.

Phew!

Just popping in to say Hi! Hands are still awful, not sure what to do about it. Dh massaged Tiger Balm into them and I wore gloves all day to keep the heat in but it hasnt helped much.

Hope everyone is having a nice weekend It rained heavily all day here >_< I just went to my parents and went out to dinner... probably do some shopping tomorrow... they just opened a new wing to a big mall near here so figure I will go check it out. Need to go to the Tea shop there anyway (running low on one of my staple teas I get from that store) and want to check out the iPod nanos =p

Work continues to be very busy >_< Can't wait for the end of November

BTW, anyone here play VMK? I keep thinking about trying it but haven't gotten around to it yet... looks like it could be fun

thanks guys, I'm still pretty freaked out. I was on the news and at one point you could hear my voice quiver. I was really surprised that the rest of the people i was out there with seemed to resume normal conversations and normal moods with in an hour or so....I always knew I was a little strange.

Going to try and get some sleep. Both boys are running fevers now, so it is going to be a long night!

Tara I am SO sorry you had to witness that. So sorry it happened. I have heard of things like that happening before. Thank God you had your wits about you and called 911. You probably saved a lot of lives with your quick thinking. I would not have been able to just go back to normal after seeing something like that so you are not abnormal. Im sorry both boys are now running fevers. I hope you were able to get some sleep last night.

Elaine its a mixture of FM, bad arthritis in my hands causing the pain and the bad arthritis in my neck thats causing pinched nerves into my arms thats causing the numbess. Not much they can do since the shots lost their effectiveness time wise. Going to a fibromyalgia/ rheumatology specialist that was recommended by my therapist on Nov 4. Cant hurt to get a second opinion and she says he is tops in his field and has helped a lot of her patients. My current doc does not believe in FM at all, he knows I was already diagnosed with it, but wont even consider it when treating me.

Ah well I better get the kidlets and dh up and start getting them ready for church.

I got some sleep last night, not much, so I think a nap is in order for today. The boys did both sleep through the night. Jarrod feels a little better, but says his throat hurts and Ethan isn't up yet. But I expect he will be in the 20 or 30 minutes.

Thanks E! but I was just talking to my Uncle and he watched the piece and he asked me if I had cut my hair...so i said about two months ago. Did you color it? yeah about two months ago. Oh he says. So being the dork I am I said man I'm glad I lost that weight....his response...Yeah you did look kinda heavy. heheheh That's my uncle! he could have at least lied to me!! heheh At least I can say that life with me is never dull!!!
