Yay worthy today!
LOL!!! Yes, ma'am, I slept in!! Just finished my morning bagel and after I get my shower I will be working on the Ya Ya shirts for our WDW trip. :teeth:

Oh, John!! BIG boo hiss at that deer! Thank goodness Sue and Sarah are all right!

Love reading about you eBay "junkies"!! Ya'll are toooo funny! Although I remember the time Pam got that gorgeous beaded dress for DD's homecoming. Now THAT was a coup and a half!! All these BaB orphans finding homes is so heartwarming, too.

hug.gif
for ya, Paula. So sorry to hear of the disappointing homecoming. Hope things clear up and settle down soon for all concerned. Glad that you were able to spend some time up north and had such a nice time with Alyssa, though.

Trying to come up with something clever for a t-shirt for Dave for WDW. He loves my shirt for my birthday that says "treat me like a princess" and he wants something for himself to go with. Something more than "I'm with the Birthday Princess" Any ideas for my Prince Consort??

Well, I think I'm heading for the shower now. Need to finish waking up and get some work done. Ya'll have a wonderful day and I'll check back later to see if anybody came up with a brilliant idea for Dave's shirt. :grouphug: and lots of mad, mad love!!

Good morning.

Pam is in a good mood :bounce: Yay for ebay shopping.

Glad power is back Karen.

:( Sorry about the van, John.

Have fun with Craig, Elaine.

:wave2: everyone else. Errands here....yep..real "live" shopping :teeth: I want to get an early start.

quick while the kids are working quietly.

woohoo to power!
ouch, sorry about the deer and the car. have no idea where to buy car parts.
yippee on the hair thing...i'm doing the same thing at 530 tonight...alas no craigypoo here...its Lisa all the way. Might go in early and see if they can trim the bushes around my eyes :teeth:
more tarts kkids clothes...all very cute. My bab only has two outfits...I'm too cheap to dress her better! the kids' babs seem to spend more time nekkid. :rotfl:
congrats on more christmas shopping...'stang ornaments sound good.
sorry for the bad homecoming and the issues...however, no questions on why one would do that...parenting is all about trial and error! same for the tv and the kid...thinking a 5 year old could watch tv for 30 minutes without having some one right there with him  ...my mom left my brother, who was 17 home alone while she visited me in college...well let's just say this party only involved two of them :teeth: !!! So it could have been worse!
ebay shopping...I don't trust people in stores...so I really don't trust people I can't look at!! :teeth:
check is in the mail! "I know I'm adorable but look at my Princess Bride", "She's older than me", "She's the princess, I'm the court Jester", "Do whatever she says, and I won't get hurt"....I'll try and think of a few more!

Okay, the natives are getting restless! I gotta go. I'll be back later!
tara
oh ps.

"Give her an inch and she thinks she's a ruler" :earseek:

"Off with her head" :earseek:

John, good luck looking for a hood! Does that van have a "sister" version? My brother or sister totaled the Horizon we had (both did, can't remember which one this was for though) and we found the Omni version for cheaper.

Alan :p You're a twit, but I think I might take that statement for face value and just say thanks!

Paula, hopefully he is telling the truth there. And I don't question that with a 16 year old... sometimes situations come up. There were a lot of times when I was alone or home with just my brother & sister (only 3 & 1 years older from me). though I bet next time would be hard to decide on.

Bethie, glad you slept in! And I had ideas but John's are tooo funny! In all seriousness, I like the thought of him being your prince charming some how on the shirt. Seems fitting for you both

Great ketchup Tara... good luck with the natives ;)

I need to shower and do an errand so I'm off for a while!

Beth - how about:

I'm Just The Throne Warmer

At M'Lady's Beck and Call

What The Princess Want, The Princess Gets

Trust Me, Treat Her Like A Princess!!

Treat Her Like A Princess And Nobody Gets Hurt!

Paula,
I didn't think bad of you for leaving Chris - most parents around here do that. The neighbors do all the time. We left DD for a couple of days right after she turned 18. DS will be home alone in the spring and is 17.

You can't harp on Chris to get the truth (and maybe he is telling the truth). But you can keep your ear to the ground, because if he did have a party - it will get out - teens love to brag to everyone!

 M'dear ..... you are a great Mom and don't ever think otherwise.

Nancy - actually I'm not in that great of a mood - Precious insisted on sleeping plastered up against me last night and I have such a stiff neck! :rotfl: DH sprawled on one side, Precious on the other, and Gunny on the floor beside my bed.... I sometimes think we're the Waltons!! :teeth:

JRKaren - EVERYONE knows that I am the Carmen Miranda  Queen!! Duh.....

John,
Bummer on the hood. :guilty:

Alan,
You almost made me slip on that  comment!! :rotfl:

Just like if I were Obi Wan I would've shot someone isntead of just leaving him
Oh how I wish you had been Obi Wan! ::yes:: I would've gladly assited you, held him still, sat on him, whatever it took. :rolleyes1

Oh where is my hairbrush? Oh, where is my hairbrush? Oh, where,
oh, where, oh, where, oh, where, oh, where, oh, where, oh,
where, oh,
where oh, where ... is my hairbrush?

Karen's power is back on! Woooo! Yay!

Grass up the butt syndrome not prevalent in store purchased turkeys. A big YAY for that one!!

Cute Christmasy tart burner!!

Any hair ideas yet Elaine?

Oh my... definitely don't blame yourself Paula. It is indeed a trial and error process and there's no way to know for sure which is going to be the best way to turn. This parent thing is HARD WORK and the path isn't always clearly laid out for us. Frustrating stuff sometimes though isn't it? Sigh.

Okay I'm off to look for something YAY worthy to do today...

:rotfl2: :rotfl2: :rotfl2: Oh my, ya'll are toooooo funny!! Thanks for all the suggestions for Dave's shirt. They're all so good, now how am I going to pick just one?!!

Kim, I can't imagine why the cucumber or tomato would want to borrow your hairbrush, but I think I saw EarofCorn using it to smooth his flowing cornsilk. I see your banana has been taking dance lessons, too!

DON'T beat yourself up for leaving Chris alone, Paula! It was NOT a bad thing to do--heck, my folks left me with my 5 younger brothers and sisters for a 3-day weekend when I was barely 18. And trust me, those kids were NOT model children. It's quite possible that Chris is indeed telling the truth--after all, you weren't there to pick up after him or to remind him to do it himself. Maybe the "signs" you found were just the leavings of a messy teenage boy? I'd say, try to let go of it, give him the benefit of the doubt this time and hope that it never happens again.

mama bev says to put them all on one shirt as if it were grafiti!! :rotfl:

I'd say Dave could either wear a shirt that says "It's all about her" or he could wear stylish shoes, make up and a wig and wear one that says "She's the Princess but I'm the queen"

Well okay....maybe not.

Don't kill me Dave; you don't even know me!

Yeah, Dave, don't kill him - just toss him in the lion's den - or the jousting ring -- or something suitably entertaining to the masses!
:rotfl:

Better yet - make Alan dress up and wear the t-shirt! :rotfl2:

Oh - and Kim, I agree with Twit Alan - the dancing banana is TOTALLY Yay worthy!!

I'm beginning to think I need one of those sneeze guards that they use at buffetts!! You think I could steal one from WDW!

Hey gang, I have finally posted something positive about my school year!! Its double posted on the cb! I didn't think it went through so I reposted! dork me!!

tara
