Guess what? We went by the house tonight and we have cabinets, the trim work was done inside and our tubs and showers were tiled. The best part is that Ed was really leery of my color choices, insisting they were too dark-and my husband agreed that I chose well! Yay! Love the fact that they were sooo busy today. They have a bunch of closet doors in the garage that I think are going in tomorrow. Hoping to get a bunch of pictures, because from here on out, the house will probably be locked up when they're not working on it. I suppose I could ask for a key, lol!

Got the weekend off and there's tons of things we can do this weekend, have to decide:Strawberry festival, home show, Kennedy Space Center (Kev's been asking to go), meet up with a friend at MK, bonfire at a friends...I don't think I'll ever get a weekend where NOTHING is going on, lol!

Good Morning All!

Sorry I have been kinda MIA lately. Ive been working a lot of hours between the two jobs and the rest of the time Ive been spending with the family. As of yesterday though I am no longer employed at the old office. I gave my notice the other day. They werent happy about it and I was called stupid for taking a lower paying job but Im happy with my decision so I just let it roll off my back. I am having a wonderful time at the new office and learning lots of new things. I also have a boss who appreciates the work that I do. I cant tell you how many times last week that he complemented me. Boy does that feel good! I enjoy going to work now. Dont get me wrong I loved my old boss it was the mountains or work and responsibility that was heaped on me and the fact that my coworker had time to read magazines and play computer games that I didnt like. I am super busy most every minute of the day at the new job but so is everyone else in the office. The work is spread around so that not just one person is dumped on and we all pitch in and help each other when needed. For me at least there may have been some good that came out of my bosses death. It forced me to take a step I probably wouldnt have taken otherwise.

TC you are in my prayers kiddo.

Karen, I don't think you are stupid for picking the job that you feel fits you better even if it is less $. You arfe at the job for a great part of your life, you need to have some peace about it. That is great too that you had choices.

I've already shoveled my first layer of snow. Got the paper for the neighbors and getting ready for my first cuppa. The menfolk are shoveling more and laying ice melt on the stairs.

Lily, I haven't even looked outside for the snow. We are hoping that it moved in a different direction and didn't really hit us. My weekend plans? Pretty much nothing. Make Luis go out to lunch with me, maybe go to a sale at a store I love, and look at bedding for upstairs Nothing exciting. I have some cleaning/ironing to do, but nothing major this weekend at all!
