Good afternoon everyone!

John and Noah Wylie have the same birthday? Very cool. Same year, too, right, John?

Tara has flying Disney plush? Cool.

Nancy wants to share everyone's cabana boys. Do the men in the group have cabana girls?

Liz's nekkid ritual dance? I'm scarred for life.

Pam, have a good weekend with your daughter :)

Alan, glad your wife is on the mend.

Kimmie, Elaine is out of time out, but you are still in there. You are a very bad girl (at least that's what Apolo told me).

We're slow today. Only a handful of posts since my last one. What's up with that?

....Liz hit me in the eye with her tassle!! (serves me right for gettin' a front-row seat.... :guilty: )

This from the person who kept calling me "Grandpa" at WDW last month. Thanks a lot Karen. FYI, Noah was born on my 16th birthday.

Now I am jealous... Susie has 70 degree weather. I want some of that!!!

Stacy you really make me laugh!! But thanks for introducing us to her.

Welcome Dee!!!

Karen, thanks for jogging my memory on that one! I didn't think you were SSR, but knew you bought through Disney direct (unless I am losing it and hten I apologize). Got any specific plans for your first trip home?

John, I swear all the good looking ones were born that day ;)

Dang Nancy, that is cold!!! We are still warmer than you. I'll have to look at that site later... my IE at work is wacky today.

LOL, Liz... too funny!

Pam, hope your drive was safe getting your DD!!

Yay, Alan's back... now we all will be kept in line... he's such the fine & upstanding man ya know :)
:duck:

Hi Kimmie!!!!!

Bye Kimmie!!!!!

LOL Tara, with that yucky avatar, it would be hard to mix up... pity she won't change it though to some purty :teeth:

Oh and Karen, just busy with work. Talkign with Bell South people and they are so chatty :teeth:

John, you know I was only kidding when I called you Grandpa ;)

Elaine, I did buy directly through Disney for my DVC points at the Boardwalk. I can't wait to go home. I think I have 113 days left :)

Is our Lily home yet? She's coming home today!

You know, someone pointed out to me today that a comment was made on the Jellyrolls schedule page: here. Ray put "Boston chicks rock" to the top of the page. Someone thinks it's in reference to us, since Ray knows I'm from Boston. Ray did love us at Jellyrolls last month with our flashing rings and costumes. Hmmm. I wonder.

a message from Jay on my cell phone this morning
"Hey Tara, uh I can fly out anytime tomorrow so I will keep Jarrod tonight if you want. Uh, we have had some trouble this morning but that is not why i'm offering to keep him tonight. Well, after he asked for his 4th pop tart I realized that he had not had his medicine. So he is a little wild today. So uh, let me know if you want me to keep him."

So I called home to see if he had called there too. Yep he called my mom to whine about how bad Jarrod had been. He apparently was plugging in things he wasn't supposed to and then he took a water based marker (lucky for his dad) and colored all over his grandparents big screen tv (55 incher), the window, the front door, the screen door. So dad has to clean it all up.

Now I find this particularly amusing because dad doesn't deal well with this stuff and because he was hesitant in the beginning to letting Jar have his meds. NOW he knows he needs the meds!! I will admit if Jarrod had done this at home I would have all but beat him to a pulp and probably would have banished him to his room until he's 25!!

Okay, now back to the usual yayaing!!
tara

Mothy bunch! :earseek:

Had some errands to run and bills to pay this morning. I'm pooped. Going to see Racing Stripes when the boys get home and we're taking my nephew/Godson. :) The boys don't know this yet and they'll be thrilled. They adore there little cousin. :)

Cold one here. Low 20's. Brr! I want those 60's back. I really hate winter.

Kristy, hope you feel better soon.

Amanda, hope they can figure out what is causing Mandy's knot.

Welcome, Dee! :wave2:

I have never heard of Penzey's. What is it?

Dee - Welcome!

Tara - hope you don't get blown away in the storms! Just learning about all of you so I will assume that Jay is your ex and Jarrod is your son. Correct?

Kristy - hope you start feeling better soon. And that you get some sleep tonight.

Nancy - I will have to watch the video at home tonight. Stupid firewall!!

Liz - Thanks for the dance steps! I will do the dance tonight and report back when complete. Now I just need to find witnesses. I'm sure my DH would like it but he is only one witness.

Alan - I'm new and not yet an official Ya-Ya but I hope Mrs. AA feels better soon.

Elaine - the key word in my post was HAD 70 degree weather. :D We are in the 40's today. Of course, we will probably be back in the 70's next week so come on down to Dallas for a visit if you need to thaw out!

JRK - I'm sure he did mean you! From your trip reports I gather that you are one of his favorites, if not the favorite!

I think that gets me all ketchuped? ketchedup? You know what I mean. Busy morning here at work. Looks like a busy afternoon, too. Anyone have big plans for the weekend? I'm just going to hang at the house and work on some quilts.

TTFN!

Hi again. I'm back home. I just couldn't stay at work today feeling as yucky as I do. I hate being sick :( Thanks Tara and Sherry.

Tara oh my!!! Hope your ex learned his lesson.

Sherry let us know how the movie is.

Karen maybe the guys at JellyRolls are members of your fan club :) :)

Liz you put on one heck of a show there!!

Pam have a safe drive.

Alan good to see you pop in. Hope Mrs. AA is doing well.

Dee welcome aboard.

 TC, Elaine, Nancy, Kimmar, Kimmie, Stacy...anyone I accidentally missed.

Thank goodness I brought my laptop home. Now I can DIS from the couch when I'm not napping.

Karen, I'll have to send you a PM... only 113 days... I like the sound of that :teeth:

Tara, wow!!! It sounds like Jarrod's daddy learned a big lesson ;)

Sherry, Penzey's is an amazing spice store. I love their stuff and must have about 40 or so of their spices http://www.penzeys.com/

Susie, you will probably reach the 50s long before I will... we won't get above 30 for several days now... usually colder here too. Ohio Winters suck

Kristy, I was busy at work and missed before about you not feeling well when I tried to do a lazy ketchup :o Hope you are feeling better soon! Enjoy DISing from the couch... my favorite thing to do :)

Elaine no worries...I'm always missing stuff in posts :)
I keep seeing Ohio mentioned on the news. I hope you're not in the flooding area.

Yep Jay is my ex. We found out I was preggers after we broke up!! oops!! Jarrod will be 5 in April and was diagnosed (offically by the dr.) in June for ADHD. I had diagnosed him at 2! Jay and his family didn't like the idea of him being on Ritalin because they didn't think he had a problem...but then when you are only with him a couple of times a week it may not seem like much!! hehe Jay is a flight attendant for American Eagle (and if you are making assumptions about him being a flight attendant you are only thinking what the rest of us think ;) ) so he is only home a couple of days a week and when he is home he takes Jar.

Just as a bit of info about my other son...he was concieved using donor dna...so I am completely by myself with him!!

Kristy...feel better!! Wah! I want a laptop! I need to give up my disney obbsession if I want one of those!

AA...glad Mrs. AA is on the mend...take good care of her!

great...now I've forgotten everything else. off to check the thread out and then I'll come back!!

tara

Thanks Kristy... I felt really bad because I remembered reading it, but skipped over it the 2nd time when I was replying  A "duh" moment I guess.

As for the flooding, specifically I am okay. We are high enough on a hill not to have to worry about it. I know it caused some trouble because our water was shakey for a while and saw the water people at the end of the street. Other places... it's awful. We've had road closures and schools let out because of it. I couldn't even get to hte cemetary due to ramp & road closures (did get through one day last weekend, but before then it was impossible). I hope the freeze doesn't cause it all to stay though... not as devistating as the mudslide in CA, but many have lost homes :(

Hi Tara... I have to laugh because I've done that too :rolleyes1

Hi all. Kids got home and want a movie or gameboy time, so they get that before we go grocery shopping.

Ed and I went to a couple of furniture stores today to get some ideas. We need real dressers for the kids that can actually hold clothes and a dining room table. We gave my old one that expanded to a friend years ago, meanwhile the one Ed bought is too small when we have people over.

The first place had a nice blond wood one we both liked, but we went to the second place and found this really cool table that goes from rectangle to square. It's tall, with barstool like chairs. It changes our plans with some other stuff, but it is too neat.

Wow, an encore of Liz's nekkid ritual dance. Luckily, I wasn't drinking anything!

Alan, glad to see you drop by. The moon pie supplies are really low, do ya want me to pick them up while you're helping mrs.aa mend?

Amanda, that pound will come back off, you know it will.

Tara, so he hyped Jar up on food coloring and sugar and didn't ask you to get Jar back...impressive! We had that windy weather yesterday, I felt like cousin it.

Lainey, hope the weather stays above freezing. That much water and cold temperatures is a scary combination.

Kim, from now on, if Liz is performing ANY dances, we must hand out protective goggles

John, so really nice guys are born on June 4th, huh?

Have fun, stay safe and get better soon, to any of the sickies.

Suzanne

Elaine I just realized that I did the exact same thing today....forgot to add this to my ketchup:

Amanda I'm keeping my fingers crossed that the doctor will be able to help you more this time with the lump on Mandy's neck.

Suzanne that table sounds really cool!

Another day, another 5 pages. Mothy Ya Yas. I've been having a pretty lazy day. It's much colder out today - thank you cold front - so it's not as nice for going outside. We still have to do some grocery shopping, I think, otherwise I'm not sure what'll I'll do for lunch tomorrow. However, since I'm back to work a day early, and Scott is still off, maybe he'd like to go shopping tomorrow by himself. :rolleyes1 He at least has to go pick up the 487 rolls of film that should be ready tomorrow. What's one more stop? heh

Pam, roadkill, huh? We'll have to make a score card. 5 points for rundown racoon, 10 for phlattened pheasant? ;) Only $321 on books? A steal! (I'm sooo looking forward to buying those again, can ya tell? lol)

Paula, the dairy sounds pretty cool. I wonder if we do hvae one you can buy from around here? I know there's fields with those plack and white cows around, heehee.

Kimmar, well, if anyone can discover what lurks beneath robes, I bet a Ya Ya can.

Kristy, $109 for one book, $50 workbook. Ouch! I hope grad school doesn't take too many books. If we go to a ski lodge, does that mean we get chalet boys instead of cabana boys? We'll have to find them some winter wear. heh Ug about the stomach bug. Hope you're feeling better now.

Sherry, hope the chicken wings were yummy. Our snow mostly melted too, unfortunately it's cold as all get out again. At least it's sunny.

JRKaren, I imagined witty remarks, and they were great as always. May 7 to 13, huh? And I've been eyeing a May trip too (hopefully to celebrate some acceptance letters). Maybe I can keep up this stalker thing after all. :rotfl:

Tara, hope the weather doesn't get too crazy for you. Flying plushies sound amusing though.

Elaine, I highly recommend trying to make someone feel old sometime, especially when they're getting on ya for being a youngster. Great fun. ;) What's this about a yurt?

shatzjsl, I'm pretty sure I was like that at 11 (or so I've been told  ). Good times. Hope things settle down for you soon. If it's any consolation, I think I leveled out around .. er .. well .. I'll let you know. ;)

Hi Deena! No beads today, I hope.

Beth, girl's getaway in May, huh? Would this be a Disney getaway, or somewhere else?

Stacy, it's mean of your hubby to rub in your Cracker Barrel deprivation. Especially because it reminds me of my Cracker Barrel deprivation (heehee). Hope the days fly by for you until he gets back. A surprise party sounds like fun though. What's the occasion? (apologies if I missed that before).

Nancy, I'm glad Christin found a nice apartment. That's great. I've never really spent much time on the west coast, so that (and Ya Ya proximity - heh) are definite pluses to UW. That and the fact that they seem to be on top of things out there. 4 packages! Sounds like a lot of goodies. What does Penzey's sell? Haven't heard of them before.

Suzanne, sounds like you had a good time while the car was getting worked on. That's good news about your classes, too! Oh, and Sesame Street was my tutor for 'Luis' as well. lol

Kimmie, spare fig leaf. *snork* I'm BaBless too. I made one for my nephew once. I wouldn't mind having one but it kinda weirded me out when the stuffed him there, though. Why? No idea. File that under 'strange Canadian girl'. heehee

Hi Shep!

Hi Amanda! Hope Mandy's throat is feeling better. Hope you can get in to see her 'normal' doctor too.

Hi Dee! Welcome!

Liz .. nakedness and moonlight .. you owe me a new keyboard! Mine has Dr Pepper on it now! :rotfl:

Hi AA! Hope Mrs AA is recovering quickly and all is well with you. :)

Hi Karen, haven't seen you in a while. Hope things are well.

Welcome home Lily (if you're home yet)!

Ok, the ketchup plant is closing for a while. Hope I didn't miss anyone (many apologies if I did). Additional apologies if I attached something to the wrong name. The brain just won't defog today. I know I'm gonna be editing out smilies for a little while too, so Hi to anyone who sneats. Talk to you later.

Wow....what Caroline said ;)

We're cleaning and packing today. What to do with 10 boxes  of stuffed animals!! Pam????
Christin got the Science Center job.....now does she really want it? I sure wish something would settle in.

Ditto on what Elaine said about Penzey's!! Amazing spices and great blends. I love placing orders with them. This time I got Christin some basics for her kitchen and M'Cori a Curry pack for her birthday.

Have you all been reading C. Ann's updates :( It breaks my heart.....and makes me so greatful that we had great doctors when the decision was made for my Dad.

Back to the cleaning ......
