Evening, yayas!
Got through a quick day at work, lots of moving stuff around and putting out the most adorable valentine's stuff. Woohoo! I'm eyeing a vase that my antenna toppers can go in, they're running over the cobalt bottles. It's got Pooh and Eeyore on it. There's a DIS Green topper now, too, although I think the intention was that it is part of the Spring assortment, lol!
Finally got to watch my copy of Princess Diaries 2. It was cute. Now, if I could only get through all the other movies piled up. Ed just popped in the Mickey Mouse Club DVD.
Lily, When Harry Met Sally is one of my alltime favorites-I can probably recite the whole movie verbatum. I even used a line today "Harry, you're going to have to move to New Jersey, because you've slept with everyone in New York and I don't see that turning Helen into a distant memory"...made my friend laugh (she really needed it, too).
Nancy, got your PM. I have to wait for my new passes to show up to go back over to WDW, but I can go pick up that ToT topper in two or three weeks. I'll gladly ride ToT for ya, too-no one else in my family likes it (wimps!).
Liz, last night we were outside watching the neighbors shooting off fireworks and enjoying our lovely beverages and commenting that last New Year's we said 2004 was the year to make the move. We did it-really took 18 months from the decision to setting foot in the Sunshine State for good. I've got no regrets-wish Ed had a job, but hey, that will come. (Plus there may be a silver lining in that, too). It turned out to be positive in so many ways and I can't believe he didn't talk me into it years ago. Come visit me and you can see for yourself what it's like away from WDW and you'll still want to move.
Speaking of visiting, my house HAS A ROOF! I called my mom to share the good news that the crane came and went very quickly yesterday morning and she said we should get the sleeping bags and sleep under our roof last night, lol! Now, if only I wasn't such a picture posting spaz...you could see the progress, lol!
Caroline, hope your New Year's night goes well. I remember my gas station days and the one coworker trying to call out so that Ed or I would cover her shift (back when he was just a good friend)-we were smart and didn't answer our phones!
Deena, sounds like your new year's was similar to ours...we did make it past midnight, though.
Bethie and Dave-HAPPY ANNIVERSARY to the nicest couple in Virginia! Hope the day was extra special.
Kimmy, sounds like you're taking a page out of my younger sister's book. She and a friend went to Cancun for vacation, and each night, she or the friend would celebrate their birthday! Free drinks EVERY night. If I ever tried something like that, I know I'd have been asked for proof, lol!
Karen, please take it easy. Is there someplace you can sleep sitting up? That will help minimize that coughing and help you heal quicker.
Off to get some sleep. I think we're headed to the zoo in the morning, and get some use out of that membership!
