Lily, I agree, shoveling snow is a great way to get a work out! I don't do it much when we get a lot of heavy snow (due to back) but I like doing it now and then (when not in a rush )

Kimmar, I do hope your worry goes away! I think I am as good as I am going to be for it. I should get most of my wrapping done this evening.

Karen, feel better soon! Glad you got some meds to help.

Im home and just about to go lay down on the couch until dh and the kidlets get home. I got two nice surprises today. I got a gift certificates for Burdines/Macy's for 40.00 and a gift certificate to Bath and Body Works for 25.00!!! I also got a very nice bonus check from my boss on Friday. He actually made me tear up.

I hope it warms up for you freezing YaYa's. It's cold to us here but nothing like the temps you all are getting. Yikes. I don't know how you stand it being THAT cold.

Tara I never realized what your name on here meant until Lilly posted it. I thought it was a cute way to say Disney. How neat your username is!

Well I better get to the couch or I will be on dh's bad list if he comes home and catches me on the computer. He is being so very sweet too doing all this stuff and then coming home to make shrimp scampi....YUM!!! Its the only thing I have wanted to eat all day.

All right, folks, it's time for me to put a feeler out there for something. This has been discussed a little bit here and there, but not no "official" word has been discussed on it. I don't know why I feel the need to post this tonight, but I do, so here goes.

Who would be interested in Yaya meet 2005--Yayas invade New York City? New York is my third home, and I love going there, and I know Liz, Lily, and Bethie have all expressed interest in a Yaya New York invasion at one point or another. We could see the sights, and catch a Broadway show or two. I'm thinking a long weekend in either April or June.

I just figured that I'd throw it out there tonight so folks can start thinking about it, and deciding if it's something that interests any of you. If there's interest, after the holidays, we can try to come up with a date, and take it from there.

So, just think about it, and I'll throw this out there again after the first of the year. If there is enough interest, I'll throw some numbers together to give everyone a feel for the costs and all that fun stuff, too.

Dh just came home and made me cry. Because of two offices in his company NINETY families will have Christmas presents to open on Christmas Day!!!! I am so happy to have been a part of that. They said that every child who asked for a bike this Christmas got one!!!!

Went to see the Sponge Bob movie this morning, then got my nails done and picked up the last gift we needed to get.

John, CF DIS meet? Mmmm. Stupid Ohio weather always messes everything up. Hopefully we'll find time to get those ornaments. We are so busy the next few days.

Liz, yep, I slept in today. We're enjoying Winter break so far. You'll love Elf. Its so funny. I absolutely love Will Ferrell.

Lily I promise Im resting. Dh wont let me do a thing anyway LOL!! I just took some Nyquil so I should be comatose within about a half hour ROFL!!

I really am blessed with a wonderful dh and wonderful kids. Dh did a ton of running around tonight and made dinner. The kids behaved and did their homework with absolutely no fuss and then went to bed with no fuss. I got the stuffings hugged out of me by both of them too. If I heard I LOVE YOU once tonight I heard it 20 times. I was even called the BEST Mom in the Universe. As horrible as I feel right now they made me feel GREAT.

Speaking of my Dad, I just got back from dinner with him, my brother and SIL. Always a nice time. Slightly annoyed. I had spoken with Luis at about 7:30 or so, and he had just gotten home rolleyes: #1) and since he declined on dinner, I asked him to put the stuff in the wash into the dryer. I came home and the dryer hadn't been started rolleyes: #2) and he was too busy playing his stupid game to give me more than a quick kiss rolleyes: #3) *sigh*

JRKaren, I will think on NYC. Not a very good year for travel for me maybe... I doubt I'd be able to commit. But I'll keep it in mind.

Tara, I'll be right over!!! And I love how you translated your username. I admit, for a long time everyone was calling me Helen. So I thought it ws funny that most thought I was Helen A. "Bear" when it is really Helena Bear (H can or cannot be pronouced with the Elena... depends on if I am thinking Spanish or not). Yours is much better than mine is though!

Lily, glad Alan and I can make you laugh. God help Mobile in February though... at least our spouses will be there to keep us in line However, all this talk of CF made me look up and there is only one location in Columbus... I really might have to suggest to my family to go there this week... I am craving it and htey have orange chicken that looks to die for!

Boy, mothy yayas today!

Still coughing, but at least I don't have to get back to work until 3:30 tomorrow. I was paranoid that I would oversleep (Boss picking me up this morning), so I woke up at 2:30 and went into the garage to get my shirt and pants warmed and fluffed in the dryer. While I was standing there, semi comatose, I realized it was too quiet outside---then walked into the kitchen and noticed what time it was! Back to bed, but repeat the waking up thing a few times, lol!

Karen, you need to take care of yourself. No hospital stays this year, sweetie.

Tara, the correction was good...my niece pronounces it the other way, so that's what was in my head...but I remembered on the CM board your explanation of your screen name.

Morning all... a little warmer today, but I suppose I am happy since tomorrow and Thursday we are in for ice & snow. Funny, I surely didn't ask for a White Christmas! I really need to check my tire pressure before tomorrow morning though... I think at least one of my tires is a little low (at least it feels it when I drive).

Hmmm... two EOIP here... both due to "cold people" What's up with that? (love ya Jeannie & Pam)

As for Indy....We will arrive early on the 27th and head to the Children's Museum. Our only other plans is for the girls to have pool time at the hotel and to be back home by 5:30pm on the 28th, since our church choir needs to sing at the Baptist home at 6:30pm....so we will leave around 3pm on the 28th to come home. I think Serena is going to meet up with us at some point...maybe dinner on the 27th. Liz is also considering.

Suzanne...work parties are over. Now I need to wrap gifts, get the girls to the dentist, get Mandy to a girl scout Christmas party, make some side dishes and pick up a few other things before Friday at noon....oh, I am also having dinner with a friend from high school who is coming in town to see her family, on Wednesday. Wouldn't be too bad if I could just skip work Oh...I also forgot the library on Thursday and my visit with my Dad, I am making him burritos that night (one of his favorites).

Elaine...glad you had a nice dinner with your family...give Luis a kick in the behin Amazing how those games control them.

Karen...New York would be great, but we have trips in April and in June.

Better get to work...have a meeting to attend in 20 minutes.
