Krista, I distinctly remember you dancing during the Nekkid Initiation Dance time. Howeva, if you want to do another I am sure that the folks here will just enjoy it all so! I am certain if the rest of the stay at home Ya Yas had their sets tuned in that the satellite feed will duly indicate that all present participated!

I do remember dancing. I guess I just didn't realize that I was doing THE dance. Hooray! I am a bonafide Ya Ya afterall :cool1:.

Just coming up for air for a sec.....The guys have been keeping me very busy and my evenings are just as full. Going to babysit "my" princesses tonight and really looking forward to it!

I've finally finished reading all that went on while we were visiting in the World and I must extend a HUGE thank you to my personal correspondent, Liz, for keeping you all up on what was going on! I have added Manda's family, along with Gavin and his family and coworkers to my prayer list. Kimmie, your mom and all of you are still in my thoughts and prayers, too. Sherry, it sounds like I need to double the effort on my prayers for Junior and his shoulder. Wish those drs. would get their stuff together and just let the poor guy alone! Hope the nasty pneumonia and bronchitis germies have moved on, now, too.

Glad to hear Lainey and JRKaren are both feeling better in the tummy dept.! I think traveling does a number on our bods--I was a bit off, myself, yesterday. Not fun!

Yes, there was a lot of dancing going on at Jellyrolls on Friday night!! :teeth: Lots of people have completed their Ya Ya initiation, now, or in the case of us elders--been renewed!!

'Fraid I have to dive back into the morass of paperwork on my desk here......Mad, mad love to all!! :grouphug:

...Hola, Ciao, Aloha, Guten Tag, Domo Arigato, Mr. Roboto!!

Alan, great pictures. Appears your wife can't keep her eyes off you :earseek: Beautiful girls

Thanks, Amanda and others. I had to laugh at your comment. Since Mrs. AA is blind, we often say that she "looks" with her hands. So in other words..can't keep her eyes/hands off me?" I should be so lucky :teeth:

Okay, one of my first concerts was the Styx - Kilroy Was Here tour ::yes::

:wave2:

Got the candy for Julian's class. :) Also ended up going to Wal-mart to exchange the car DVD player we got for a different one that I found this morning while surfing the net. :teeth: Junior is hooking it up now before we head to my mom's house.

Great pics, Alan. :) I like the first 1. :)

Kimmar, I :rotfl: at that pic of the Ya Ya's. Priceless.

Good to see you popping in, Beth. :) All germies seem to be gone. Jordan goes back to the dr. tomorrow. Junior is better. My cough is going away...think it might have been my heart burn, like dr. suggested. Everyone else seems to be doing pretty good, so far.

My post disappeared :(

Anyway, Sherry glad everyone is feeling better....just need Junior's shoulder to cooperate now.

Hi Kimmar....so how many posts do you have with both identities together? ;)

It's smelling like cookies in here :teeth: :wave2:

LOL, Deena, I peeked this year with Nancy's card too... I love the confetti, just not when cats are around :p

Kimmar, I would guess at the time you had all 5s on your post... pretty cool!

Alan... too easy to comment on. Moving along :rolleyes1

Sherry, I am so glad that the germies seem to be gone!!! Enjoy the new DVD player!

Nancy, sorry you lost your post :( What cookies did you bake for us today? :p

I know exactly what y'all are talking about-I've been burned by Ms. Meriweather too!:p She got me twice before I wised up. :cool1:

There's a work-related Christmas dinner tonight--oy somebody hand me the dress with a little GIVE in it! :earseek: Oh I jsut scrolled down to see the snickerdoodles recipe! I had a college pal who was FAMOUS for these-are the lowfat as good? I don't know..I think I can't bake bc of things like shortening---have y'all seen this stuff? :earseek: And they want you to put huge dollops of it in! But then when you skimp...it just doesn't taste as good.

Anyway-hope to ketchup with y'all LATER. OH and welcome back travelling Yayas-so many of you coming and going! :moped:

Nancy, sorry you lost your post :( What cookies did you bake for us today? :p

What does confetti do to your cats, Elaine? Do they eat it?
Mine must be used to it ;) They could care less.
Now wouldn't ya all be totally shocked if there was NO confetti in cards from me??? ;) I have done it for years.....

Cookies....but they are EVIL!!! :P
I only did the peanut butter blossoms, dough for the cutouts and dough for some new ones that will have a filling!! Now those sound just TOO good.

Jeannie.....sub...butter or margarine....but it does effect the finished product.
If using shortening, I always use the butter flavor.....looks so much better!!
Have fun at the party.
Ours is Friday and I'm still not happy about it.
Not only is it at some tiny little house, there is no gift exchange this year  .,.....and we were told there would be rides arranged. Well, to me that meant maybe a bus from work into Seattle to his house ::yes::
Well...NO...it is a shuttle from a parking lot to his house, a whole 1/2 mile away.....I will have to spend 3 hours in prime time Friday traffic getting there for the 3 hour party. Casual....no dress up. I LIKE to dress up for the holiday party. I like the lame gift exchange. I like going to really nice places and being fed well.
Okay...rant over :( Until Friday, at least!! ;)

Come on, say it!!! I dare ya :smooth:

Jeannie, I admit, this is the first time I actually looked :p I love it though... always makes me smile!

Nancy, the cats just go nuts... they try to attack it. Then it gets all over the house  I would hate it if you stopped though!
Sorry about the party, sounds like a real pain in the neck. However, I do expect a full rant on Friday as well ;)

gotta run

Hello Ya Ya's!

Dropping by (fully clothed, haven't danced naked in years!! ) to say hello to everyone, especially Tiger Lily! She's an awesome mini-putter, Heinekien connoisseur, and late night Jellyrolls hoofer! :cool1: It was great to meet you (and your DH too)!! :)

Kim :)

I seem to be in a cookie posting rut.....guess because that's about all I'm doing these days
This is Christin's favorite. It is basically a Snickerdoodle

Hey gang! We sure are seeing a lot of Jellyrolls revelers around these parts this week! Looks like Lily and Ted were the hits of the week--everyone had a blast hanging with Lily and Ted! Fun couple!

Had a crazy busy first day back to work. Got sucked into covering for another department from our DC office so they could go to the office holiday party. I opened and forwarded 50 faxes via e-mail today. Not fun. One of the pointsettas in the office was falling apart, and my boss joked asking if someone stepped on it, and I replied, "That was me after opening my 50th fax today." Put in an hour of OT, and spent much of the day running around--not the day I was hoping for after being sick.

Also, I want an official Yaya recount on Krista's Nekkid Ritual Dance. I don't think that she qualified. I was looking out from the stage, and I do not recall seeing her dancing along. I think we need to fully and publicly embarrass Krista just like I was :) (Aren't I a great friend, Krista).

Hooray for all of you who have gotten to your Christmas cards. I just ordered mine today. I should have them either Friday or Monday, and will send them out then. If I have you're address, you will be getting one, if I don't have you're address, I guess I won't be sending you one :(

Kim (Snowwark), good to see you pop in! You come visit here any time! For those of you who have never met Kim, she is one of the nicest DISers around!

Nancy, you are the cookie queen. When will you be posting Pam's special roadkill cookie recipie? I want to make sure I miss that one.

Deena, as soon as I get my act together, I will upload and post a picture of your clan. I have a decent one of me with all of you, and a nice one of one of your little ones.

Sherry, glad to hear that your guys are on the mend! Hope everyone is perfect for the Christmas!

Lily, I think we are going to have to stage an intervention for you. You sure seem to be way into cookies these days.

Bethie, have fun with your angels :)

Elaine, Hi. You are always so good at responding to everyone else's stuff, and offering words of encouragement. Thanks for that :) Just wanted to say that.

Hi Shep, and Alan, and Kimmar, and everyone else in the Yaya world.
