Hey!!

I received a package from Kimmar today! I received 2 cute snowmen kitchen towels, a snowman oven mitt, snowmen socks, snowman ornament, Vanilla Bean Noel lotion from B&BW (smells yummy!), CHOCOLATE!!!, and a tin (with snowmen on it) filled with shortbread cookies. Mmmm! Thanks so much, Kim. I love everything!!

Went to my neighbor's house to sit while her 2 sick girls slept. She had an appt. she couldn't miss and the baby has an ear infection and the 7 year old has pnuemonia. Now I just hope I didn't bring any germies home. I took a shower, washed my clothes, and sprayed the house with Lysol. LOL Don't wanna take any chances.

Well I have to admit, it pays off to procrastinate... well I didn't really procrastinate, but meh... I found a better deal on my car rental via budget, so I have a new one set up for Friday. I get to save about $30 or so. Rental for 8 days is running me about $130. Not too bad

Elaine you might want to check Dollar. ZW found me a good deal on a minivan for my days there $153 (tax incl) using the code MAG (for the Orlando Magic card).
Beth Michael and Travis decided they do want to go to Prime Time with us. Can you still add them on? If not I'll just tell them they have to grab a burger instead.

Ok, took me an hour to ketch up (well I was busy IM'ing in between) so now no time to post. Aaackk it's almost midnight, I'm still doing laundry, I haven't even begun to pack, have to help DS with History project tomorrow night How in the world am I going to get everything done?

Hope everyone else is having sweet dreams. I gotta ketch up tomorrow nite and make sure I know all the times & meets and whatever. Someone will just have to call me and tell where to be and when, LOL!

Deena, thanks for that! I did check them last night with a few other codes I have, but with the flat $20 off I will get at Budget, it is still cheaper for me to go with them. I know Thrifty had slightly better prices, but I avoid going to places that require a shuttle to get me to and from there whenever possible.

Rose Mary, good luck packing!!! Luis hasn't started either... nor has he taken out the trash or taken care of his passport stuff that he said he'd do before we left... or.... well... good luck to you!

Morning all...

Is it only at my work or are their others where you feel more Holiday stress at work than at home? I switched work groups and this new group has a lot going on. They are doing Secret Santa, which I signed up for then found out we also have to another exchange at our evening dinner on the 15th and that at the secret santa final exchange we need to sign up to bring a dish. They also have individuals bring in side dishes for the holiday celebration or you can pay $5 to go on the main dish. The other building you just show up for cookies, punch, nuts, cheese, crackers, etc. Then there is the breakfast with those at the same working level. Then there is the lunch with the team my manager is on. Then there is the lunch with those at your level that their managers work with your manager, which also includes and exchange. Not to mention the cookie exchange or the monthly 'experience' lunch. This is all happening in the next 2 weeks. Is it just me or is this too much????

Sherry...good luck with Junior going to the Dr.

For those leaving us in the next day....have enough fun for me Wish we were going, we could use it now. Mandy Ellen seems to be very emotional right now. Todd found a drawing of her's were she wrote "I miss Nene". Before he told me this she had told me she was missing her. Then she got upset, crying, because she doesn't get to see Todd during the week. We are praying to figure out what is best for our family since changing is work shift would mean a cut in finances. Neither of the girls want this, but they want their Dad home

Amanda, yikes...that IS too much. How are you supposed to get any work done? Good luck with your decisions regarding Todd's work-we've had a similar issue and that's why Ed's looking for overnights, will sleep when the kids are in school. Adorable pics of the girls, btw!

Cross your fingers-he's got a pretty firm offer from one of our neighbors, just has to go into Personnel over there this morning. He was going to beg off on it, and I told him going in with the froggy voice just tells them he's serious about working for them!

Lainey, I usually use Dollar and get the best rates, but you did pretty good! You will enjoy missing the snow. Thermometer reads 68 right now, 8am! Supposedly, there was a cold front coming through today, but it's already gone!

Sherry, hope you don't get sick. I had two sick kids last week, Ed's sick and we went to help mom yesterday and she and my stepdad are sick. I CAN'T be sick right now-got a big visit at the store next week!!

Hugs to you Amanda, Todd, Mandy and Cassie!! I am sure hoping you can figure out what is best! I think I understand some of that situation. Greg's brother Randy is in the same situation.........he is debating if his new job offer is worth it....he HATES his job now....well where he works anyway....and was offered a job at a hospital by us....problem being, when he is on call for his week long duty...he would be gone for a week without seeing hte kids but in passing. But the up side to that is he would only be on call every 6 weeks. He is VERY much struggling with a decision as well. Hope this CHristmas season gets easier for you. Greg also really misses his mom and dad a lot....and they have been gone for quite some time. I just hope and pray that time will heal your hearts. You are in my thoughts and prayers!

OK, I would love to ketchup with all of you....however, I am playing tech suport today at Randy and Michele's, and am off to meet the Comcast man!! Sure hope he is cute and single! OK, truth be told, I really hope HE knows what he is doing...alst time did not go so well!
