I so agree. It seems that you are certainly going to be busy. It will be a small gathering and DH is assigned to working that day so we will wait for him to be with us.

Elaine, congrats on your new size! You’re melting! I love when Ted goes shopping with me. He likes to play and I usually have a great opportunity to buy clothes. Glad Luis is enjoying that as well. So, you have a family tattoo unveiling planned then? Hmmm.

Sherry, whatcha wiping with those windshield wipers? Seems that the motor shouldn’t be going that quickly.

JRKaren is off doing tours of NY. I may have to meet up with her if I ever get to go there for one of her tours. I think the kids will love her being there.

CP Beth and TC both going to the first show? Is there something about that first performance of the day?

Reminiscing of school, sigh, it was such fun for me. Teachers were pretty good to us.

I still have a couple of things to add to my contents and I will be shipping Monday or Tuesday I expect.

Might look into getting the Clay cd. Have Manheim Steamroller one I like. My boss doesn’t care for Manheim Stamroller, but I enjoy listening to them on occasion. Any Ya Yas like them?

I have many choices for the day today. I think I am going to start off with a volunteer--to put up Christmas lights in a local community. Going off to meet with friends and have a soggy morning...

Morning Everyone.

Not gonna say it's a good morning though since I was up most of last night. It's gonna be a Looooooooong day since we have choir practice for the kids.

I did get my Christmas shopping done last night for the boys though. My ILs had our youngest and dh, my eldest and I went to a few stores. Dh kept the eldest busy or in another store while I went around getting what I needed to get for the two of them. All I have left now are token gifts for my neices and nephews but I have to wait until both my SILs get back to me on things the kids would like. I only emailed both of them over a week ago! I want the shopping done and over with before the real Christmas rush starts.

Kimmie I am so glad that things for mom have turned the corner. You are both in my prayers. Hoping that December is MUCH better for both of you!

Welp better finish getting the kids ready for Kids Choir.

Lily, thank you... I think I know what size I will wind up in, but it will be one I will be very happy in. Actually more than i would have hoped for Not familiar with Manheim Steamroller, but when Luis wakes up, I'll look them up! have fun putting up lights! Such a sweet thing to do!

Rose Mary, I had the linguini with chicken bolognase sauce. It was pretty good, but too much olive oil for my tastes. I have several many other things I want to try. Luis had gotten their mashed potatoes... oh so good! It is like 3 blocks from us and will probably replace when we want Boston Market type dinners... cheaper than them too

I will do PMs with cell numbers later... I have one I "ignored" (sorry Lily) only because I don't have my cell at my side (just downstairs) so I will reply and send those out when I get a chance to.

I want to go shopping for my exchange, return a dress, find shoes and a few other things today (including cleanign), so I might be busy. Catch y'all later!

A fast in and out post. It's deadline weekend. And I have a friend's 40th birthday party to go to tonight so I have to get the newspaper built and my column written before 4:00 pm. I don't think it's gonnna happen...

Another soggy morning here. I'm sick of this rain. The temp is 60, though. Wish we could just have warm temps without rain.

Lily, we don't even use our wipers all that much. Not sure what is going on with our motor. Junior is off fixing it now. This one better last.

Elaine, Wolfgang is cheaper than Boston Market? That is surprising. I think you need to add watching the OSU game to your list of things to do today.

Karen, hope you can find time for a nap. We got our boys Christmas shopping done the other day while they were in school. This will be the first time in a looooong time that I will actually be done with all my shopping early.

Heading to Cleveland later this afternoon for dinner, then the Cavs game. The boys are sooo excited.

Not quite---we're doing dinner first and then the concert. I really like the 8:15 concert, cuz when it's over, I just find me a place on the bridge between UK and France and enjoy Illuminations! And both DH and I love Mannheim Steamroller!!! their version of Silent Night gets me choked up every time. Have you heard their Disney album?!! It's SUPER!!

Pam, good luck with deadline and getting everything done in time for the party! Glad your DS went to the VP at school--that teacher was just way out of line!

Got it, Deena! For some reason, I thought you were only bringin' the littles. So our merry group is up to 16 and I think that's just right! It will be SUCH a blast!!! So, speaking of shopping, how's YOUR Christmas shopping coming along?! I found it got tougher and tougher as the kids got older and their wish lists got more and more expensive!!

Ooops, Lily, no I have no intention of showing the tattoo to family. I have a wrap that will cover it and I know I will wear my hair down and straight so that will help cover too. Really I have told all the family I kind of plan on telling and if the rest find out later, so be it. I should tell my dad... he knows of all my piercings (and thinks my navel one is cute) so he wouldn't be shocked... but being the baby makes it hard.

Good luck Pam!!! I think if you can't get it done, you just butter up to the boss a little... I'm sure he'll forgive you

Actually Sherry, our dinner at Wolfgang Puck's turned out to be just a tad more than what we normally would spend at Boston Market, but my food portions were bigger. Luis said the equivalent meal at Boston Market (chicken & two sides) costs a tad more. Not sure about the side portion sizes though. It's about $4-8 per meal and that is right on target with the cost we pay at Boston Market when it is all said and done. MUCH better desserts too. Good selection of kids meals as well. It really is so much better than I thought it would be... and cost wise too!!!

Oh watching the OSU vs UofM game... yeah... no... can't handle it actually. It really would be too much for me. I am way too passionate and I like my TV

Bethie, I totally understand what you mean about watching Illuminations after CP. I do hope to listen to it once with Luis while there... whether fully watching or not. I like it, but he wasn't so keen on doing it. Oh and I thought you'd get a kick out of the silk dress thing I'll tell you a bit of truth, I figured out part of my issues with eating and it really is getting easier to go back to the way I was in HS. Not teeny by any means but much better for me

Now I need to get my self in gear and hit the stores for various sohpping things. Only one Christmas present left to buy and then have to retun the dress, go shopping for shoes for the new dress and do all my exchange shopping. Hopefully by then Luis will be awake

We both like them. I think we have all their CDs....must check again.

Christmas shopping is done here except for one big one.
Now to wrapping the mail aways and getting them out of the way.

No Wolfgang Pucks here But I have enjoyed it at DTD. No Boston Market here either....they all closed down.

Off to basement clean, shampoo rugs (that same one...again ), rearrange toppers....got more stands.

Ok, the hairs are done and much more presentable. Well, at least now after I came home first to brush out all the little clippings . Cut it a little shorter on top now I'm not so bushy! Yippe!!

Heading back out for some shopping. Kinda dreary hear today.

I am sitting here with tears streaming down my face. We went to choir practice today and then to Goodwill to find outfits for us for dh's Christmas Party. We just spent over 200.00 on meds for the kids and then did their christmas shopping which we kinda really shouldnt have done just yet. Well we came home to find a box on our front porch. In this box was a complete Thanksgiving Dinner. Apparently we were nominated by the Childrens Ministry to recieve one. I am so very very very touched that they did this. Each and every one of them is getting a big hug and a very very heartfelt thank you tomorrow when I see them. I just know Im gonna cry all over again.

We did really well at Goodwill also. I got a pair of navy blue velvet pants and a blue sequined blouse and a purse and dh got a blazer and a pair of pants and it came to 40.00!! It was from the boutique side of the Will and I really dont think any of the things we bought have been worn or used before. I know a lot of people might think badly of me for shopping there but we just cant afford to buy new clothes for one night and we really want to go. Dh and I haven't been out alone together in five years.

Elaine congrats on going down yet another size!! Im so proud of your accomplishments with your weight. I need to try and watch what I eat between now and the 4th of December to see if I can drop a few pounds especially in my middle. The outfit looks nice on me but it would look even better with maybe ten pounds off.
