Morning Everyone!!

Going to get my hairs done at 8:00 so I had to be up way early this morning. Im finally getting this mop taken care of. The color has grown out so much I look like a reverse curly skunk. The lady Im going to said she would do EXACTLY what I want done with my hair. YEA!!! Im also getting the top of it cut so that it sort of looks like a cobra mane when its pulled back on the sides. Hard to explain but I will try to get pictures of it today after it is done.

Went to see the Incredibles last night with the kids. The kids loved it. Dh and I thought it was technically very good but didn't really care for it as much as we have other films. It was nice to finally get out and have a little bit of money to do something.

Dh scared the h e double hockey sticks out of me yesterday. We went to pick up the kids and I came around the corner and found him bent over. I asked what was wrong and he said he had that racing heart thing again. He has had this before. Well this time he went ashen on me, got clammy, and cold, and it lasted 15 minutes. I came oh so close to calling 911 but dh threw a fit. It wasn't until he layed down in the fellowship hall of the church....this is where our kids go to aftercare.....that he felt better. I called our doc and the doc on call got nasty with me because dh wouldnt go to ER. I called my boss....the cardiologist....who said he NEEDS to be on meds for this. He said it's only going to get more frequent and for longer durations if we don't get him on something. I told dh....who wanted me to make an appointment with our doc a WEEK from WEDNESDAY.....that he is going to the doctor on MONDAY PERIOD!!!! I told him he was lucky I didn't call 911 and the next time it happens I WILL if he doesn't get to the doctor IMMEDIATELY about it. My boss said he would do a stress test and an echocardiogram on dh if our doctor thinks he needs one. I trust my boss and wouldnt go to anyone else to do this. He knows his stuff. I have never gotten this way with dh before but he IS going on MONDAY if I have to drag him out of work to go.

Liz I am so glad to hear your feeling better!!! How are the plans for Hawaii going?? I can't wait to see pictures of your trip.

Nancy those pictures are great!! I have heard they do the Haunted Mansion up as the Nightmare Before Christmas in Disneyland but have never seen pictures.

Beth it sounds like you are going to have a GREAT time this weekend. Glad to hear you are feeling better. I'm doing okay with my bronchitis. All I have left is the muckey cough which luckily dosn't act up too much. I sound a LOT worse than I feel. It's gonna just take time for that to go away.

Elaine have fun putting up the Christmas stuff. If they had real trees out right now I would probably put mine up too. I love Christmas. We want to get a real tree this year. Where Im going to put it is going to be interesting ROFL!!

Sherry Im sorry Junior is going to be out of work for so long again. Ya'll have been through so much this year with this.

Rosemary so good to see you!!! Im sorry you are still going through so much. Im glad you got some ME thinking time in Disney. Im only a PM away if you want to talk.

Suzanne I am SO sorry they messed up with your electric like that YIKES!!!! What a mess for you to have to deal with. Sounds like you had a blast in Epcot on Wednesday. Your friend sounds like fun to be with.

Good morning, everyone!

I got my papers from DVC yesterday! Holy smokes do I got a lot of reading to do! There is a ton of stuff for me to look at. Looking at all the paperwork is making me nervous about it again, though. But a good nervous. I think seeing the investment price is what's making me nervous. I know I can afford it (and in the long run it will save me money), but it does make me gulp.

I'm having my family over for lunch today. As many of you know, I lost my mom back in January, and today would have been her birthday, so I decided to have everyone over for lunch, and then we'll go to the cemetary. I'm cooking spagetti and meatballs for 13-16 people.

As for December, that first weekend, I'm busy Saturday during the day, Sunday most of the day, and all day Monday. So, if something happens then, I may not be able to meet up with everyone, but I'm sure that we will plan something else for later in the week for the late arrivals too Right now, I have nothing planned during the day for Wednesday and Friday, and Thursday afternoon after 2:00 is open as well. How did I get so booked up

Nancy, you are much too young to join the Red Hat Society. Thanks for sharing all your great pictures with us. I want to go to DL next year for the 50th anniversary during the time when the Haunted Mansion is done with the Nightmare Before Christmas characters. I love that movie

Karen, I hope everything goes all right with your hubby. That is pretty scary. Definitely make him see the doctor on Monday!

Beth, I brought my pictures to Ritz Camera to be printed. They do a great job on them if you have one near you. I was very please with how most of my pictures turned out from my digital camera--I still have to get used to it.

Liz, hope the meds are kicking in and you are starting to feel better

Well, that's gonna have to do it for now. I got a billion things to do this morning to prepare for lunch.

Good Morning Everyone! Hopefully, it will be a day but, so far it's not looking so good.

Came home last night and went straight to bed. Well, after I tried to make my ressies for Dec. Yes, the procrastinator in me put it off until the last minute and they don't have a room available where I want for the days I want. So, they suggested I try again this a.m. Please keep your fingers crossed I better get on it NOW! May have to adjust my dates a bit.

Someone please tell me how to get rid of all these stupid pop ups.

Morning all... been really lazy today. I should get over that quickly though so I can get things done today.

Nancy, honestly if it weren't for me going away for the day on TG day and the wedding 2 days later, I wouldn't even have thought about it this year. Our family tradition is to do it on TG day and since I'll be gone for that, I would rather do it sooner than later. Thank goodness for fake trees because ours also stays up through the Epiphany. We like to make sure that everything is up for Advent (which will be Nov 28 this year) so waiting until Dec 1st wouldn't work anyway for us.

Suzanne, so sorry about the power thing. THat absoluely stinks!!!! As for RR, nope we weren't given and FTP client but CuteFTP and SmartFTP are free ones I think. I use my RR space a ton!

Can someone please tell me what got into my little head last year that made me think a 7.5' tree was a smart thing to get? I wound up moving the chair about 5 times before I decided to also move the love seat and put teh tree in front of the window. Might look for a little stool or something to put on the far side so the cats can perch a little

I'm tired and this tree will take forever to unfluff. Gwenie is sniffing it right now... she loves Christmas trees and is already batting at a branch (doesn't need ornaments for her to do that

Nancy, I cannot wait to see Castle pictures!!! My sister is dying to know what it looks like and I am interested since we only got a sneak peek in the summer!

Fluffing trees is a PITA!!!!!!!!! There I said it. My back and neck are killing me, my hands are raw and I am no where near where I wanted to be. Won't eat dinner until I finish unfluffing AND on top of it all, a big ugly spider was on my box of ornaments and the like

Here are some castle pictures. I think it came out beautiful!! A bit pink, but still very nice. They were still sprinkling the "sparkles" when we were there

no one there on this one We were on a tour and got in before the park opened. It was most interesting to be in front of the castle at rope drop and see everyone rushing in.

Tree is unfluffed... and out of 900 lights (yes, it is a bright tree ) only one bulb needed to be replaced

Love the castle pics... very beautiful!!!! Yep, a bit pink, but not too bad... and no where near as bad as WDW's b-day castle

ordered some wings from Pizza Hut... after I eat, I'll decorate and read some... if all the ornaments don't make it on the tree today, I won't be too upset
