Oh then that's a lot different Elaine. I have definite views on sleeping with kids also. That is something I would not do except in a case where they were very sick or very scared. I just recently spent one night in the room with my youngest because he was terrified of something he saw in a picture book about Halloween at school. It was a one night thing and then he was fine. Sleeping with them regularly I see as a no no. My case is different as we are just all in different rooms of the house LOL!

That lady had problems with her kids period. The boy was 4 and a monster because his mom let him be and his little sis was no different. The dad got mad because the kids had their feet on the table WHILE they were eating dinner. The girl cried when dad said to put them down so the mom asked if they couldnt just leave them there but make sure they didnt touch the food with them
I dont have a problem sleeping with the kiddos. Im a big believer in the family bed. Evan and Connor sleep with David and me, but Im not leaving David to go sleep in another room just to be with the kids.

I should say I don't want to give the impression that doing it now and then or even the family bed (which I admit I am not sure I could do on a regular basis, but that's totally personal) is bad... just well, Deena you saw. It was tearing the marriage apart (the way they dealt with the kids)... that's when it is bad!

Good evening everyone!

Had a bit of a scare tonight from DVC. I got a FedEx package from DVC, and I was psyched because I figured it would be my contract. Well, when I open up the package, there is a letter inside addressed to somebody else! It was just an informational package that I received. So, then it hit me that if I received somebody else's package, what if someone else received my package? I called the guide listed on the package, and I also called and left my guide a message (since it was after 5:00, and she leaves work at 5:00). The other guide didn't do much to assure me that my contract with my personal information wasn't sent to the wrong person. Thankfully, my guide checked her voicemails from home, got my message, and called me back to explain where that package came from, and she told me my contract was FedEx'd today, and she called to double check to make sure that my real contract was sent out to me.

We are getting closer and closer to our Dec. trips. I can't wait to meet all of you who I have not yet met, and to see John and Elaine again! Don't the cell phones come in handy down there? I used mine so much last month--it was insane. My friend I travelled with didn't have one, so it kind of stunk if we split up from time to time.

You guys have me curious about this show...I just may have to watch it next week. The girls get to stay up late on Fridays, we tend to fall asleep in the family room. Occassionally I allow them in bed with me, last night was one of those nights. Todd puts them in their beds when he gets home. The girls know when Dad is home they have to be in their own beds. I have questions for those who do the family bed or sleep in other rooms, but they are rather on the personal side...so I will keep them to myself.

Sherry...how was the Dr. appt.?

John...I love your son's costume.

Okay Amanda I was trying to think of a way to answer your non question, lol. You can pm me if you like but there is nothing wild going on in the bed when the kids are there You just have to be creative. Obviously with 4 kiddos that hasnt really been a problem
Elaine--yes her sleeping with her kid was not good but the whole way she handled parenting was messed. She could not set even the smallest boundaries for her kids. They are fast on the road becoming little hellions no one wants to be around.
Okay I missed Survivor due to more PTA fun who got booted?

Been busy tonight printing pix for the weekend crop I'm going to this weekend. Whew--2 whole days of cropping!! I'm really looking forward to it!!

Love the Halloween pix, Tara!! Jar looked very Professional and Ethan looked properly cuddly!! Bet they brought in quite a haul!!

John, I am soooo impressed with your teens' costumes! All I ever see around here is normal everyday clothing, all in dark colors, and dirty faces or a horror mask of some kind. The teenagers around here are plenty greedy, but not the least bit creative. Fun trying to catch a pic of our Lainey, isn't it?! Thanks for trying and the sign with your brother's name is great!! Sherry, I'm so sorry Junior is continuing to have problems with that shoulder. Hope these tests show nothing seriously wrong and another few days of rest is all that is required. You've all just been thru the mill with this!!

Karen, how's that bronchitis? I was so sure that's what I had and my doc gives me a script for an inhaler and Robitussin with Codeine. OK, the inhaler is working so I guess he was right and it really is just asthma and allergies. Hope yours is getting better and the back and neck are improving. BTW, congrats to my little buddy on that Gold Honor Roll! Give him a big ole from me!!

Laine, Larissa looks just beautiful as Belle! Is Lito going to play the Beast, now or will you get a Prince Charming??!

Well, Junior is off work until Dec. 6. The dr. gave him 2 steroid shots. He wants to see if they help and if they don't, he will get another MRI and see what is wrong. He said our regular dr. should've never given him an MRI, because without dye the stitches are in the way and they can't tell if anything is torn or not.

Elaine, Larissa looks adorable. Thanks for my new clippie.

The lady on last week's Nanny 911 was a nutcase. She let those kids walk all over her.

Deena, I missed parts of Survivor, but I do know who got booted. I'll PM ya, so I don't spoil it for anyone else.

LOL....on all the sleeping arrangements.
We did the sleep in separate bedrooms because of snoring thing Dave finally went and got the sleep test done and that was when he was diagnosed with sleep apnea. That ole C-PAP machine saved my sanity All's well since then.

I do have the pictures loaded on the computer now, but not to imagestation yet I did miss one of the bathroom, so I need to get that one out here too

Sherry, sorry about Junior. That stinks. So....will the insurance from the person that hit your car get to pay you more money for pain and suffering? Or did you already settle?

It's always a challenge to get you without a camera in front of your face!!!! I agree on the Beast costume--I don't like it either. Can't wait to see Prince Charming!!

Nancy, I loved the pix you posted of the Club 33 bathroom!!! I remember seeing a toilet like that somewhere in my travels, too. What's the reason for snitching the paper towels, though? They look pretty normal in the pic..........Hoping to see more pix from your trip SOON!!!

So now Junior is on steroids?! And off for another month??!! What a PITA situation for both of you to have to be dealing with!! Will Junior still have a job after all this? Keeping you all in my prayers, Sherry. This is just too, too much.

My computer here is acting up. You'd think working for a computer company, I'd have a state-of-the-art machine that would practically do everything for me. HA!!! I'm getting ready to re-boot this darn thing right out the window!!

Im not a big Hooters fan. I like my wings tangy like the ones at Buffalo Wild Wings, Chili's and Bennigans. I dont like them if they are just hot which is what the ones are Hooters are like to me.
But hey Im up for the mall I can shop with the best of them (much to dh dismay).
Bethie--cropping all weekend!! Im so jealous. Im going to a day long crop tomorrow though. I need to have one of the experts there help me make some donuts for a page I want to do. I was hoping Paper Bliss had some but they donut (dont he he).
