Karen, glad your young ones understood that they might not get what they tried for in their auditions. The fact that they tried is fantastic. My guys are/were so shy that it was/still is not an option for them to do this. I sat in total shock as my DS #2 did a duet at his HS choir graduation. The choir leader even had to make an announcement that he FINALLY got him on stage to perform. He really has a great voice that he preferred to keep as part of the choir only. I know you are proud of your sons for being there. I am too!

I'm tired. Did a lot of stuff today. Cleaned floors and then mostly sorted through debri I must toss/resale. DH called and said he will be home in about an hour. I must get cleand up as we are going out for something to eat.

Really need to run. Finally took care of my passport stuff this morning, so that will come back to me in 4-6 weeks. Did some shopping after all that and got a great deal on a silk skirt ($10!!!!!) and picked up another skirt and two shirts. Sizes were easy on the eyes as well

Im tired, hoping to maybe slip in a nap. Evan started getting sick last night. I picked up Michael from work and when I got into bed with David and the boys Evan had a fever. He woke up several times crying with an earache. Drugged him up with Motrin and Triaminic all nigth but it didnt really seem to help. Luckily they have a great peds office and they see sick kids even on the weekends and holidays. Got a rx for Amoxicillian for his ear infection.
Dropped him off at home with dad while I took Michael to work (and made a pit stop at the scrapbook store ).

I thinks the Ya Yas have abandoned the spa!

I just got back from the craft store. Took Mom and I was looking for a specific type of yarn and color. Not in stock. Not happy.
Must continue my quest.

Elaine, can't wait to see the pics.

Deena, Wow! you are busy. Gotta love the peds that are open always. We made sure we had a practice like that too. They had evening hours weekends and holidays. It was fantastic.

Just got done cleaning out the carport and straightening up the house. I am tiiiiiiiiiiiired and sore. Moved a lot of stuff that I shouldnt have because of my back. It was bad before.....now I really did it. My rheumatologist will NOT be happy with me on Monday. Thankfully though he will do the shots in my back and neck and I will be good to go for about six weeks.

I am just happy my boys tried. Didnt matter what they got or if they got anything. At least they tried. Im a proud momma. Just trying out was a very big step for my youngest and I keep telling him how proud I am that he tried.

Deena Im so sorry Evan is sick. Poor baby. I hope he feels better very quickly. Sounds like you had a very busy day today too!!!

Elaine what an awesome deal on the skirt!! Have I told you lately how proud I am of what you have done with losing weight? WTG!!!

Lily sounds like you were doing a lot of the same stuff I was doing today. The pitch and keep! Im sorry the craft store didnt have what you wanted. I hate when that happens.

Well I think Im gonna pop into chat for a bit and then maybe hit the bed early tonight.

The first part of my days arent to bad because David takes the boys to school but after school I live in my car. My behind had become flat thanks to that (oh and the comp too ) lol. With 3 teenagers they have to be somewhere or on the way home usually about the same time.

Suzanne, doesn't it stink when you have to work during beautiful days. Hope the meeting isn't too bad. And thank you... I think from about May, I've lost around 25 pounds.

Todd, yep, it was a Columbus meet (nw 'burbs) John and Sue were down for the day and we met up for lunch.

Morning everyone,

I did get a bit more sleep but it was broken sleep. I see a nap in my future today. Im a bit tired, cranky, stiff, and sore. BUT!!!! I got a surprise in yesterday's mail which I just got out of the mailbox today!! An unexpected check from stock sales at my dh's company!!!! It's not a whole lot of money but it sure eases things up until payday!

Todd did you get any more sleep?

Sherry sorry the boys took over your computer yesterday. My eldest will take over mine for awhile after church to do his current events for school. Gotta love online newspapers. I don't have to deal with getting rid of the paper one LOL!!

I better start getting the kids ready for church. We are on a new service schedule now so we dont have to be there quite as early.

Good morning.
I slept great.....first time in a week
Busy day again today.....cleaning, laundry and a play to go to.
I will try to get to some pictures tonight or tomorrow.

But highlights (this is a me post....sorry But hope all sickies get to feeling better soon).

The weather was great. A little cold in the evenings, but not like here Cold after riding Grizzly 6 times though
No rain all week, which was good because we heard that the week before it rained a LOT! 9" one day
It was fun seeing the transformation to the holiday decorations.
We got to get on IASW the day we left to see that holiday change. Very nice.
No lines!! Halloween was the only semi-busy day. Wow!! There were little princesses EVERYWHERE!!
We did everything we wanted to.....some over and over

Club 33 was the highlight, of course. It was gorgeous! Very elegant. Friendly. Great food....although a bit "strange" for my tastes....Elaine...chicken! Oh...and expensive!! But it was worth it!
Dave did the wine pairings.
I was a dork and ran around taking pictures.....including the ladies' room True Yaya fashion, right? LOL.....

Any thing else I missed let me know and I will tell more.

Oh..oh....Build-a-Bear update....they are discontinuing Belle, Ariel and Tink....so if you want those, get thee to a store soon...or see if they have any left online. There may be more also, but that's the ones I asked about. They only had Sleeping Beauty and Snow White...and Beast (I think) there, as well as the special DL ones.
The new ones will be Mulan, Woody and Prince Charming.

Hello!! I loved your "me" post! Glad to hear that you had a great trip! Yay - bathroom pictures! (Are you related to Dan Murphy???? )

I've been to Disneyland 3 times, although the last time was 16 years ago. My aunt and uncle live just a few miles from there.

BaB got me for over $80.00 on Thursday. DD and I stopped on the way home from college and bought Annabelle and Aurora a couple of new outfits and then we got my Mom and Dad's black bear, Bubba some Thanksgiving and Christmas outfits. (My Mom was scandalized that I bought Bubba the Halloween witch costume! "But dear, Bubba is a boy and you have him wearing a dress.." "Mom, that's why it's called a 'costume'!") And then we made a bear for one of DD's friends for Christmas, she was 2nd runner-up in the Miss _____ County Pageant, so we dressed her in the beauty pageant costume!

I need to get dressed. Everyone have a great day!

I love that witches costume!! And the gingerbread man outfit...but I resisted temptation (for now).
I do need to change Lily into her Thanksgiving outfit though.
They also had the Livestrong bracelets....with matching little ones for your buddy!!
