It was so cold in work today I think it will take me a week to thaw. It was 58 and lower in some rooms when I opened the place today. There was no heat in the building. Finally hitting 68 and I will be leaving soon. I guess tomorrow won’t be too bad then. I am thoroughly chilled to and through the bone. I didn’t plan on working as if I were outside today.

Off to try some more things This is very annoying for a person that knows nothing about the inner workings of computers. I just want to point and click and have it do what I want!

Have you tried "HijackThis" to identify all the stuff that gets loaded on you computer? I find it handy to run this program every now and again to find spyware that other programs (AdAware and SpyBot to name a couple) don't seem to be able to remove.

It is something called Webrebates. Anyone know anything about it?

Nancy, I'll ask Luis, but my guess is you need to edit the registry.
Honestly you might want to see if someone who knows a bit more (man I sound mean, but you know I am not insulting I know) to see if they can remove it. Playing with registry isn't fun.

Thanks John and Elaine, we use Spybot and AdAware, didn't know about Hijack this. Occasionally have bandwidth issues, and figure it's either someone accessing our wireless or some bot that the two programs are missing.

Nancy, that list was very funny. I know how to pronounce all those towns...a friend lives in Tahoma Woods and was telling me about the Puyallup fair a while back.

I can't believe I'm already getting foggy on this...it's either there or in Cascades Marketplace. I usually went to the Atlanta Bread behind the mall, that may be why I can't remember. The BaBabies look really cute.

JRKaren, so is the Happy Haunts in your plans? I ask because you're coming down the same time as two friends who are coming for HH.

Suzanne, do you have your wireless set up so it doesn't broadcast? Actually it is a peeve of mine when others don't... only because my wireless picks up 2 other routers near by and once in a while I get kicked off when my computer gets confused on which to use. Actually that reminds me to tell Luis to beef our security back up on ours. Did it only "halfway"

So happy about the Browns win! Completely bummed about OSU.

Went to a local Bar & Grill for dinner yesterday. It was Jared's school fundraiser. The boys & Junior played pool and I played the NTN Trivia (I love that game! LOL). We had a good time, and good food.

Morning all!

Tired this morning...Mandy was coughing a lot last night and kept me a wake. Also didn't help that siblings felt the need to call right when I am dosing off to sleep

My brother got the keys to his new home yesterday. It is smaller than his current home, but in a lot better condition.

I'm surprised Todd hasn't posted...he is so irritated with Cassie's preschool, which we pay $119/month for her to attend. We now have to sell 6 raffle tickets at $20 a piece, or buy them ourselves because the school mismanaged their money. They sent a nice little note saying that since she was only there 1/2 time they would only give her 1/2 the amount of tickets the full time students had to sell. They can't calculate. She is only there 9 hours a week. The other studies are their 30 hours a week...how does that come to 1/2?...no wonder they mismanaged their money. Glad this is her last year.

I let Todd take care of the computer, which isn't always a good thing...then I send it to a computer friend to do a double check about once a year or every other year.

Sherry...Mandy's fundraiser night for her school is always the night of her gymnastics so we never go.

I hate when they do that, Amanda. We've "had" to sell things a couple of times. I usually just buy them, but this is a bad time of year for that.
