Howdy all!

I'm back in the lovely KMart parking lot after a wonderful 2 days in Melbourne. A very soggy 1 day at Epcot and a nice early morning walk on the beach and stop at the outlet mall on the way back here yesterday. Decided to go to Epcot hoping the weather would clear which it never did. Wound up with an inch of water in my shoes but, a full belly after sampling some of the wonderful food around the world.
Looks like we will be closing up shop here and going home next Wed. Yippee! It will be hard going back to the stuffy office atmosphere but, it will be nice to enjoy my own apt. for a while.
Also, to play on my own computer and ketch up on all that I have missed.

Rose Mary, sorry you were rained on at Epcot... at least you got to taste the good food!!! I can imagine how hard it owuld be to go back to a stuffy office after all that, but at least you'll be home.

Nancy, he actually got Adidas sports glasses. They can be bent into a million different ways and not break. And no nose piece either...so don't have to worry about that getting broken either.

Well, they have been stepped on.......I think they are guaranteed for a VERY long time...and they should be!

No time for a proper ketchup post, nor for an update on how our very own Liz is doing on the campaign trail, so just hello and hugs to everyone.

I am starting to get that giddy unbearable feeling in anticipation of my Disney trip next week. In just nine days, my butt will be parked on a bar stool in my nice, warm, bar! Yay!

Glasses...I need new ones next year. Would like the surgery, but the land/sea cruise is first...then have to buy furniture, then....maybe by year 2020, I could get the surgery.

Thanks Nancy... stepped on is a good sign I just have ones with the magnetic sunglasses attached at the moment and don't want to give htat up. Wonder if they have the bendy type with those as well.

Hi all!! No time here for a proper ketchup, either, but I have a little time while the boss is out to lunch.

Yay for new glasses, Yay for easily fixed chipped tooth, Yay for RM heading home soon, Yay for JRK heading for the bar stool soon, Yay for pumpkin cookies, Yay for beautiful vacation pix (not to mention the adorable little pixie girls IN the pix!), Yay for quick trip to WDW, even if it WAS soggy!

Boo for burned soap, Boo for stitches in the lip, Boo for fevers and sore throats, Boo for no time to ketchup!!!!

That's about all my feeble brain was able to retain.....

Get this--Independence Air is having a 2 day sale on flights to Tampa and ORLANDO taken between 11/3 and 12/19!!! They've cut them to HALF PRICE!!!!! Too bad we already have nonrefundable United tickets for our Dec. trip. Phooey!!

Ended up having to get dressed and go out. Our wedding bands came in today so I went to pick them up. Mine had been cut off and I finally got around to getting it fixed. Also resized. And DH got his resized and fixed. They look like brand new.

Amanda, when you do get the surgery you will wonder why you waited so long. I love it that I can see distance now. I hate it that I have old lady eyes and need readig glasses.
