Taffy's not old, Lily.....just mean!! ;)
She started doing it when Christin went away to school....it's just in her room
Actually not when she went away, but when she came back for her first long break.....guess she liked her being away.
She's been doing it since.......

Hmmm...the dancing bananas aren't dancing for me right now :(

I took my birthday present back.....think that will be the start of the "Nancy's computer fund"......we'll see how long that takes.

Painting is done!! Off to work on MY room some ;) :wave2:

Seems like we are falling off tonight. Me too. Watching the Pres and will probably adjourn to TV in bed for the remaining minutes.
G'nite.
:grouphug:

Evening all...drove a coworker and his family to the airport tonight. Felt good to be out of the house and by myself for a bit.

Decided to stop the vicodins...and so I sit her with a nice southern comfort. Might as well get loopy, not queasy. My leg looks a lot worse today, stings quite a bit, but its still tolerable. I need to go shoe shopping tomorrow. If doc gives the all clear, I'm back to work Friday afternoon and every pair of shoes I can wear to work will rub against the lower incision. I wish I could live in my flip flops for a while longer.

Karen, hope you got your rest-glad that you were able to find an earlier sleep study.

Nancy, okay, how many strawberries you want? I'm actually going to do that for a former co worker in Virginia. Her b'day's the end of this month and she's gonna get fedexed a flat of strawberries, lol...I expect to hear the squeals of joy down here. I know you said Summer trips, but if you wanna visit DL in April, a certain yaya will be invading the left coast! :teeth:

Caroline, howdy...appears they are working you too hard at the canadian weather channel.

Tara, yippee, you're coming down here, woohoo! LMK when you plan VMCP, perhaps we coordinate.

Lily likes banana boy!

JRKaren, DSL costs more here than cable modem. Of course, they've been laying fiber optic on the main road outside the new house, so I know I'm within the swtch now, but I've been so happy with the cable. AOL is evil, sorry you're paying them. I can't say that too loud, a friend still works for them, but I hope that's not for too much longer :worship:

Made Ed happy, bought him a Nascar guide for the 2005 season, unfortunately, it wasn't the press guide that he wanted. I'm thinking all those little things will add up to something big for me someday!

I'm actually gonna break out the old laptop in a few and dive into those taxes. Let's see how much Uncle Sam loves me this year :bounce:

suzanne

Wish I could do DL again, Suzanne. :( If I still had a valid AP, I might give it a try....but that dang wedding is making us stay close to home this summer. Doing the touristy thing and seeing the local sights.

Good luck for the go-ahead and the shoe shopping. Hope it feels better real soon.
I'm beat tonight too....but got a lot accomplished today.

Get to go spend some of my computer money on tires tomorrow

Good night all.

Good morning, everyone!

Lily, glad you got the CD. That crazy post office sure took a long time to get it to you. I mailed it last Thursday. The folks in Texas still haven't got theirs. What's up with that.

Suzanne's going to DL in April? Very cool. I'm hoping to go down in October. I've been on AOL since I sarted using the Internet about 10 years ago--I've been kind of procrastinating on changing because that means I have to let everyone know my new e-mail address, but it's time. I've been having lots of problems with AOL lately--been getting booted a lot. I'll probably overlap for a month to make sure I'm happy with DSL (if I ever actually get it), and to make sure I give ample time to make sure I get everyone my new e-mail address.

Nancy can't get the dancing bananas! Someone call the authorities.

Hi Sherry

Have a great day, everyone.

JellyrollsKaren

Well, the "teen" attitude is in full force. :rolleyes1: ACK!

Not one of my inlaws called or acknowledged Jordan's b-day. They also forgot about Jonathan's 13th. How hard is it to remember your own grandchildren's b-days? I love my inlaws to death, but I am sooo tired of them ignoring b-days and hurting my kids. :(

Sorry...had to get that off my chest. :(

*climbs out from under rock*

Good morning, Ya Yas! :)

So, where have I been? Standing in the snow covering a top story? Gnawing through the chains in JRKaren's Dungeon for Weather Offenders? Well, nothing exciting, I'm afraid. I had some extra night shifts (covering vacation), which monkeyed with my schedule toward the end of last week. Then over the weekend my computer had a meltdown. A new monitor and video card later, and 3 days off, and I'm back in business (and back at work, so I can't use them - haha).

I've been reading along on and off, as I could, but I admit I've been a lax Ya Ya. I'm just glad y'all didn't move house while I was gone. ;) Of course, I think I'm 180 pages behind now or something.

I'll be reading and ketch-ing-up this morning. Weather is a little nutty in my area, so I better concentrate on that (work? at work? unheard of! ;) )

Hugs to everyone. Watch for a big ketchup bottle in your area around lunchtime. :teeth:

Have a great morning. :wave2:

Morning all....

Mandy's birthday has been forgotten by 1 uncle, 2 years in a row. Although he remembers his nephews birthdays and Cassie's. Todd says it is because of being near Christmas. She also was missed by my one brother this year. My other brother gave her a gift and will give her another gift at her friends party in July, his son will be there...my other brother's kids won't because they are too old.

It is snowing here. Mandy's school has not been delayed, but some have.

Main boss is out for 2 days :Pinkbounc :cheer2:

Sorry Shery and Amanda. I hate it when ppl--especially close relatives, forget kids birthdays.
Nancy hopefully Christin doesnt have the flu. Its been so yucky around here. Today was Matthew's first day back to school this week. But he put in a request to come home early.
I was actually thinking of doing a DL trip in 2006. Michael and Travis both graduate then and Matthew seemed very excited about the thought of going to California and I still get my Disney fix and they get to see some new stuff.

Good morning.

The bananas are dancing this morning ;) Guess they just needed a rest last night.

Sherry and Amanda,....been there with the forgotten birthdays :(
So sad for the kids. Mine are about 6 weeks apart and it is really hard when one is remembered and the other isn't. I feel so bad for them.
This Christmas was an equal opportunity forgetting......we all were left out

Off this morning to get new tires.....don't know if I can stand the thrill.

I love DL!! ::yes:: Everything is so convenient. Where are you staying, Suzanne?
2006 is my WDW year!! :bounce:

:wave2: Caroline, JRKaren, Deena, Pam and everyone else.

Morning Ya Yas!
Nancy's car is getting new shoes.
Suzanne is getting new shoes.
Caroline is back!
Sherry, sorry that the relatives don't remember birthdays. Happens here too.
Amanda, same thing. Have a good couple of days without big boss around.
Deena, hooboy going to DL for graduation celebration! Great idea!
Pam, Hi there...what's Gunny up to today?

Everyone, :wave2:   have a great day! Later...

I hope Suzanne's shoes don't cost as much as the ones I bought this morning

Good afternoon, everyone!

Can I just say that I hate negative and lazy people? I work with two people who are just sooooooo lazy and negative. All's they do is piss and moan about the work they have to do, and then pawn it off on someone else. And their attitudes are just horrible. They don't want to help anyone (except each other). Everyone else is this office helps each other.

I'm done.

JellyrollsKaren

Hi everyone..
Bumping from page 2.

Afternoon, all. Doing the Turbo Tax update-think I'm gonna buy the It's Deductable and skip the accountant altogether.

Got some shoes, they're kinda cute. Ed was trying to find a bunch of totally inappropriate stuff for work-said I should get a doctor's note for sandals. Uh no, the way people drop stuff? Especially me, Clumsy, the 8th dwarf. Gotta love Payless, I finally did find my size, non wide for 12 bucks. Saw some flip flops I'll go back for, too.

 Hello, I'm Suzanne, the grandchild who's birthday was always forgotten by my Grandmother. See, my younger sister's birthday is the 16th of the month (and was a few days after my Papa's), but Nana always thought hers was the 26th. Mine was the 26th...and the only b'day in my month. My sister would always get a present a few days late, I'd get left out. That's what has made me remember birthdays-I still remember b'days of first grade classmates. I feel bad for Jordan and Mandy.

Nancy, I haven't picked a place to stay yet...probably will book once this tax refund comes. The reception is in or near Corona, but we've never been to California. We were going to fly right in, then decided the 99 each way to LA from Tampa was good-and we'll sightsee over to Corona. I'm hoping to stay at the Grand Californian for a night, but we'll see how that goes.

So, we decide to ebay some stuff...and find that ebay will only host one picture for you at a time. Fine, Ed decides to go to imagestation, and finds you can't use those pictures for commercial purposes. Sooo, he went to geocities and set up an account. It says 'stuff' and then the pictures of all the toppers say 'buy me"!

Hi to everyone, kinda lame ketchup. I may be back doing the happy banana dance after I'm done!!

Why do I think we live in a parallel universe? I feel your pain.

Mine is more that the person I work with is a friend but since she came here she seems to be doing less and less and it is really beginning to bug me. I want to talk to my admin person but I don't want it to come across as being a tattle tale....yet I'm really sick of this....ugh!!!! I'm gonna scream here soon!

okay, back to regular dising!

Nancy...I went looking for the thread where I let jarrod paint whilst I cooked. I couldn't remember exactly what he had done but I found it here It is from July 2003!! Long before I became a yaya!

Can you tell I'm bored this afternoon?

hehehe

edited to add..that i was reading through the replies and I realized I was a yaya at that time. Wow how time flies!!
