EOIP...I'm so tired, but shopping was great. I spent a fortune.
Penney's had amazing sales, Disney Store had a few amazing sales, and the winner.....Yankee had VERY amazing sales. I have gifts for the next 10 years for everyone I know. 50-75% off tons of things. We kept finding more and more racks of sales. Spent $100.....got over $250 of stuff!!

But that was hard work and I need to go to bed.
See ya tomorrow.

Before I go to bed.....Lily's new outfit :)

Morning all... very cold here, and wish I could be at home. Trying to figure out something stupid that someone else messed up, quit work and then got passed to me *sigh*

Karen, glad you got to sleep in your bed, but I am sorry that the cops had the wrong address.

Pam, if you haven't gotten in a swimsuit in over 3 years, what on earth do you wear when you get in our hot tub here??? ;) I admit I like hot tubs way too much not to have one for me. And congrats to the Steelers! I wish them well!!!

Lily, I just hope that your boss doesn't turn all that pink. I am sure she won't hate ya for it. But too funny all the same!

Stacy, I am way too much like you. I lock the house up tight when Luis is gone. And trust me, at this moment I couldn't tell you which doors are and aren't locked on the house :p

Nancy, sounds like a great day for shopping!!!! And Lily's outfit is adorable!

GOOOOOOOOOOOD Morning!!!!!!

I slept!!!! I slept!!!!! I slept!!!! After our scare last night I finally went to sleep about 12:30, woke up once at 2:30, woke up at 4:30 and was up until 5:00 and then back to bed until 6:30. Now I know that doesnt sound like a good nights sleep but for me that was an AWESOME nights sleep. I feel much more rested and less achy than I have in a VERY long time. Dh's snoring didn't even phase me except when I was trying to get to sleep.

Dh and the kids are off today. Unfortunately I have to go to work. BLECH!!!! I wanna stay home with them LOL!!!! On second thought they are now fighting so maybe I DO want to go to work ROFL!!!

Speaking of I guess I better get a gomping and get to work. Talk to you all tonight.

Hope everyone has a SUPER SPECTACULAR DAY!!!!

Morning, all.

Fell asleep while watching Princess Bride-remind me not to lay down on our comfy couches when watching a movie. I fell asleep at my favorite part, too.

Gotta get going in a few minutes...just have to wait until 9 to call the builder's main offices. See, I asked the saleslady a few weeks ago why they haven't drawn from the mortgage and to see if I needed to sign anything. She says "no, we just take the money" I tried explaining that my lender will not allow any money without me signing....duh! Anyway, she calls me Saturday, in a panic, because they need my signature to get the money!

Nancy, I like Lily's new outfit!

Karen, yay, you got some sleep!

Elaine, yuck on cleaning up other people's messes at work.

Stacey, my old house was the same way...it was safe to leave the door open in the middle of nowhere.

Lily, I think we determined that those bath bombs were from Lush, not Basin. I use the mini bath bombs from Basin and have only turned into a shriveled pink prune from soaking so long. Thanks for mentioning them, cuz I'll take them along with me :teeth: .

Lucky me, it's a college town, so I should find a Borders to grab a book or two. Have the other that is helping with Neil, but I'll probably finish that one before bed tonight.

Have fun and if you move, leave me a forwarding address!

Suzanne

Morning Ya Yas!

Nancy, I love Lily's new outfit. Seems like a great shopper you are.

Stacy and Elaine, We always lock doors around here. We had someone walk into our house as we were in the backyard oh so many years ago. Took lots of stuff oh so quickly...camera, jewelry, my DHs badge and ID. Lucky this guy got out as my Mom was walking in the back door and missed DHs gun by a stroke of luck. We actually live in what I think is a decent suburb, yet it happens. Also as I worked in a PD and we used to get warnings of when the gypsies would come around in the summers distracting the homeowner while another was looting the house. Yup, we always lock our doors now.

Karen, great news for you that you slept. Hope that trend continues.

JRKaren, I made sure to tell Scotty that you sent me when we had our WISH JellyRolls meet. He was thrilled. ;)

It's cold here. I am working all day at home so I am glad I don't have to go out in it. Wind chill has it down to -4. Brrr. Kirby (pug dog) is sitting next to me as I type wanting the body heat.

I spent yesterday putting up some pics for those I walked with on WISH thread. Here is the link:
Race pictures
We were all concerned about being too slow and therefore swept up by the sweeper bus. I made it through with some time to spare even that I took pics along the way. It was quite an emotional event for many of us. I was greatful that DH Ted was there to witness my fete. I am blessed.

I did not get swept!

Suzanne! Morning, you sneated whilst I was posting.
Oh good I can rest today. Not Basin bombs, whew!

Good morning.

yay....Karen slept!!

Nice picture, Lily. And way to go on finishing :)

:wave2: Elaine and Suzanne.

I always lock the doors......even though we live way out by ourselves and our house isn't even visible from the road. I think that makes it more important! There are always people breaking in places....everywhere!!

Cleaning day here....and the house is a disaster!
Busy, busy week....lots of shopping going to be happening, a movie and some moving.
I may be scarce for awhile, but will pop in when I can.

We did warm up....and our rain is back....and I am glad!!

Pam, if you haven't gotten in a swimsuit in over 3 years, what on earth do you wear when you get in our hot tub here???

Well duh, Elaine..... everyone knows that fur doesn't stand up well in the hot water - so I always don my long-handled underwear suit!

Lily - back in the 70s, that is exactly what happened to my great-grandmother - the gypsies got her for a great deal of cash!

I always look all of the doors - DH has gone out the back door before, and not knowing it, I have locked him out of the house!

Are you feeling better this morning, Kristy?

Yay - everyone is getting candles from Nancy!

:jumping4:

Good morning All! Looks like you were a talkative bunch over the weekend! I'll try to do some ketchuping later today. Just wanted to say hi!

Hi YaYas! :sunny:

Hey there Susie! How was your weekend?

Bathing suit talk... ack! Skeery. La la la la! I don't heeeeaaaar you! I haaaate bathing suits.

Lily your pictures are awesome! I am in awe of what you accomplished! I would've crawled across the finish line. Maybe. On second thought, I probably never would've SEEN the finish line.

Tara, the photo you posted is beautiful! Rick must've been a dear. He was obviously cherished and very much loved.

How are you feeling Kristy? Those antibiotics are hopefully doing their job by now.

Deena is in baby shower planning mode?! Fun!!

We're in moving mode here. Not us, but my inlaws. They will be moving back to our little corner of the world. They lived with us about 10 years ago, but decided to venture out on their own. Time for the "kids" to come back to the nest. :p

Yay, Karen slept!!! I'm glad to hear you're back in your bed! You'll rest so much better. :) How's your day going?

Doors. Oooh! Always locked here. Had one freaky experience. That was enough for me. :scared:

Nancy, I'm jealous of Lily's wardrobe! First the cute little... what was it? Leather? Now these shorts! Do these outfits come in my size? I think I'm shopping in the wrong store. :p

Did you get the something stupid figured out yet Elaine?

Princess Bride!! I love that movie!!!

Buh byeeee.... have fun storming the castle!!!

Pam said:

:jumping4:

::yes:: Feel left out, Pam? I know you don't "do" candles ;)

I need to get cleaning!!

And I have locked DH out before too......and he has left the door unlocked too many times

See ya later. Have a great day!

Gack, I keep trying to come in here to reply and things keep getting in my way

Karen, glad you were able to get a decent nights sleep. Hopefully the snoring won't be an issue anymore (just don't let him sleep when you are trying to ;))

Suzanne, I love that movie! Sorry you fell asleep through some of it. Hope all gets worked out with the lenders and all.

Lily, I did get to look at almost all of the pictures you had in your album. This computer stinks, so I will look again later on, but I loved what I saw!
I admit, we live in a place where we don't usually have to worry about locking. I am pretty sure all are locked today as I don't think we unlocked one door since our trip in Dec. We have nosey neighbors who notice all that goes on... has it's advantages sometimes ;) It'd be hard to move and ever leave a city like this.

Nancy, good luck with all the cleaning and all that! I had hoped to do some of that this weekend.... oops :p

Pam said:

Well silly me, how could I forget that ;) :teeth:

Kimmie, good luck with all the moving stuff. I'm sure it will work out great! Oh I think I got that something stupid figured out. At least it hasn't been sent back to me as "wrong" yet!!

I've been at this far too long... need to get back at it! See y'all later :)

Morning/Afternoon all.
Looks like we had a quiet evening last night. I was busy watching Extreme Home Makeover and Desperate Housewives.

Liz I think you should let us cheeto your SIL. She sounds like a royal *****.

Karen congrats on getting your bedroom back and getting a good nights sleep. I actually got some sleep last night too. However, my snoring ran Derek out around 1:30 :( Thank goodness he was able to get some sleep in the bonus room.

Suzanne that's really cool that your bug comes with a vase. The valentine toppers are so cute!! I'm going to have to figure something out for my explorer now..you've inspired me :)

Pam congrats on your Steeler's pulling through and getting the win.

Lily I hope your boss manages to not turn pink like Liz did. ;) That's a GREAT picture of you in front of the sweeper house.

Stacy were you able to sleep in this morning since your ds didn't have school?

Nancy are you all rested up after the big shopping trip? Congrats on finding all the big sales. OMG, I love Lily's new outfit. That is toooo cute! Can't wait to see her in it.

Elaine and Stacy, I envy you being able to just sleep with the doors unlocked. Even when Derek's here I have a paranoia about someone breaking in. I've been known to make him go downstairs and recheck the garage door. I hate open windows too.

Morning Susie.

LOL Kimmie..unfortunately they don't have adult clothing to match the build-a-bears...although that would be very cute. Good luck with all the moving stuff.

I'd stayed home sick today. I'm feeling somewhat better though. The Mucinex is working to break up all that gook and the anti-biotic is working on the infection. I'm just lacking a lot of energy right now.

I guess I should work on my Spanish homework soon. :charac2:

Howdy all.

I'm having a very lazy day (and it's been wonderful except that I have a sinus headache). So this is just an EOIP to say I'm still around, I'm just being a sloth. :teeth:

I'll be back for some ketchup later. Hope everyone is having a great Monday!

Hey Ya Yas!

Kristy, glad you are starting to feel better. Good luck with your homework.

Caroline, hope your headache goes away.

Kimmie, me too on the bathing suit shudder. I don't even want to discuss one just yet. Inlaws moving in with you or just nearby? Good luck.

Elaine, glad you got your something stupid thing solved.

Nancy, enjoy your cleaning.

I'm back at it now. Glad you looked at the pics I had to share.

Well, hey there, Ya Ya family!! Happy Monday! Guess what?! I found a tiny little bit of snow on my windshield this morning!! Whoo-hooo!!! Of course, it blew away the minute I moved the car, but it made me happy
aazcold.gif

JRKaren, thanx for the VM!! LOL--I want to know who's stalking who!!! Sounds like that Prayer of St. Francis song is quite popular--we're singing it for the choir's anthem at our church in 2 weeks! I think it's like the 5th time we've done it in the 4 years I've been going there. Such a cool song!

Elaine, I really like that swim suit you ended up with! And you're absolutely right, there's no way that model wears a size 8  Ummmmm, Ghiaradelli brownies..........

How are the wrists today, Caroline? I switched from a mouse to a trackball and that really helped my wrist pain and "tennis elbow" (that's what the doc called it, anyway!)

Awww, Sherry, sorry you didn't get to do Cheesecake Factory after all. I tried it for the first time last month and was blown away by all the different flavors of cheesecake they had! So how was Damon's? And so sorry to hear about your brother's sprained ankle!! Not a fun thing to deal with in the icy, winter weather. Prayers and PD for him that it heals quickly.

Liz, what a PITA that woman is being!! And even worse, what a wimp Greg's brother is being by letting his wife tell him he can't go visit a dying relative!! she obviously has no heart. I think you were quite right to get pushy with Greg to get him to call her and make plans to go visit. Have you considered looking at bathrobes for a gift? I know the elderly can feel chilled in 80º weather, so a nice fluffy warm bathrobe might also be welcomed.

Nancy, you did some SUPER shopping this weekend!! I want jeans with flower embroidery too!!! Gonna hafto put Dizzy into her new outfit to model for ya. Love the bell sleeves on Lily's new top, too. She is right on top of the newest fashion trends, isn't she?!!! Table and rug for the scrapping room, huh? Something fancier than a folding table?

Got busy and haven't had a chance to get back to this...........an' now it's just about quittin' time!!! I'll be back after ding-a-ling practice tonight! :grouphug:

Good afternoon, everyone!

I officially had the day off today, but I wound up going in to do some OT. I put in a seven hour day. I felt like I could use the distraction, as today is the anniversary of my mom's death. I'm doing good today, though. I got a lot done in work, and I made some extra tip money for my bar :)

I'm not in the mood to do a proper ketchup this afternoon, so I'm going to just touch on a few things here and there :)

Kristy, I hope you are starting to fell better.

Lily, thanks for telling Scotty that I sent you. He loves it when people who know me go to the bar and let him know :) I don't know if you saw my post about it, but Ray put the phrase "Boston chicks rock" on the top of the schedule this month--everyone thinks it's because of our group who went there last month. Great pictures by the way. Almost makes me want to start training to do a half marathon. LOL.

Bethie, you are stalking me. Admit it. Just like Caroline and Liz. Stalkers, stalkers, stalkers. "The Prayer of St. Francis" is a beautiful prayer and a beautiful song. I've known it since my childhood days, going to Catholic school at St. Francis of Assisi.

I think that's going to do it now.

JellyrollsKaren

Wow...we're extremely quiet today...where is everyone??
Hiya Caroline. Ditto what Beth said about having a trackball mouse vs a regular one. I couldn't live without my trackball.
Lily your pictures are great! So proud of you for making it half way through the marathon.
Beth enjoy dingaling practice tonight. YAY for the snow you got.

homework is done...laundry is going...and I'm back to lounging again ;)
