Happy Christmas Eve, everyone! Where the heck did this year go? Geez.
We're having our big family Christmas get together today. With my dad, sibilings, their spouses, and the nieces and nephews, there will be 17 of us there. It's the first Christmas gathering since my mom passed away, so I'm sure it's going to be a bit sad and weird.
I'm making a buffalo chicken dip that I saw a recipie for in the newspaper a while back. I've never made it before, so hopefully it came out good. I wasn't exactly sure what would be good to dip in it, so I just got some Ritz Top 'Em crackers. Do you all think that's the right thing to use for dippers for that dip?
Elaine, hope that burn heals real fast. I hate burns. They hurt like h-e-double hockey stick. Oh, and I'll try some flan, too.
Sherry, good to see you around here again. It's funny because your first post back was shortly after my last post, and I had been thinking to myself, "We haven't seen a post from Sherry in a while."
Amanda, great sneakers there! I really hate that icy snow! Yuck!
Karen, I hope that you are starting to feel better. It sure has been a rough year for you sickness wise. You get this out of your system and have a healthy 2005!
Nancy, glad you are back on your computer. Hopefully you will get it back to where you want it real soon
PK, good to see you around here again! Don't be a stranger! It was nice meeting you as well. I hope that you wash your hands just like your mom does!
NHAnn, hope you have a Capering Christmas!
Caroline, sorry you are still under the weather. Hope you are feeling great real soon
Tara, those stupid Sears people. Losing your pictures. You definitely give them holy heck! And if that doesn't work, tell them they'll have a group of Yayas doing nekkid ritual dances in stores throughout the country!
Lily, I think all of this snow you have been getting is God's way of helping you with that cookie problem you have. There is no need for us to have an intervention for you--God is doing it. Of course, the rest of the folks in your area are suffering with the snow because of your cookie problem, but what can you do? It's all about Lily.
Pam, I heard about the little thread conversation you and Liz have going (although I haven't been reading it--Liz read the whole thing to me on the phone last night). Me thinks that Liz isn't the only one who is a naughty girl.
Liz, you have been a naughty girl all year long. Oh, and by the way, that soap isn't oatmeal soap. It's really haggis soap. Happy bathing.
Kimmie, Apolo Ohno. Just had to say the name. It's such a fun name to say. Apollo Ohno.
Deena, don't wish for snow. It's not fun. I hope your boys are starting to feel better.
Kristy, Dakota is getting so big. What a cutie she is! Love the newest siggie pic.
Hello and hugs to Suzanne, Todd, Alan, Krista, Kathy, SideshowBob,
Well, I think that will do it. Have a great one, everyone.
Karen
