Argh! I started a nice, LONG post and my fingers failed me.
I had a busy weekend here, but it started off so nice. The boss called me on Friday am, told me I needed to leave early (lots of OT) and that I could leave at 2. Yippee. I took my paycheck, went home and changed and headed over to WDW. We got to meet up with friends Heather and Jason.
Off to Epcot we went (do we ever go anywhere else?). We saw Candlelight from right outside the theatre and one of my coworkers was in it (right behind Marlee Matlin, too). Met up with a friend who now works at Epcot and he suggested going over to the Cantina to watch IllumiNations. All I can say about the Holiday addition is WOW! One of my favorite songs added, and the fireworks were beautiful, too. The song is one we did in church every Sunday growing up, so it has special meaning for me.
We shopped on the way out, then sat outside the entrance talking. We talked for so long that the monorail stopped running. Uh oh, they've got to get back to their destination, and after the merits of walking the monorail beam now that the monorails is not on it was discussed, we had a Beetle Clown car with 6 people in it.
As we drove out of the parking lot, fireworks started going off in the world showcase lagoon-judging by the Wishes type fireworks, we think it was the New Year's extravaganza dress rehearsal.
Yesterday, I was at work and my boss comes up to me with a box of the Incredibles toppers. He did it to see my reaction (I am SO like a small kid sometimes, lol). No Nemo toppers yet, so I have to keep the eyes peeled. Got some Figgy ones at Epcot

!
Okay, onto three dozen pages of ketchup:
Nancy, thanks for the Eggnog cookie recipe! I have a feeling I'll be making those next week when the boys are home. We all love eggnog, that'll be fun.
Liz, thanks for the info about the Nemo toppers. One I can add to the collection. Kevin tried to get me a Princess topper the other day (I am not a princess by any stretch of the imagination!)
Lainey, that's a cute store about Luis and your new 'furbaby'! And I have pictures of Lainey smiling!
Bethie, that shirt is hilarious, I should have ventured over that way to see the Ritual Dance, I was just on the other side of Epcot while it was happening!
Scott Stapp performed at the Nextel Cup banquet last week. It's great to see how much exposure the Christian Rock bands get these days. The bands cover so many different genres now!
Tara, did you warm up yet?
Well, I forgot all the other stuff I lost. I'll check back in the morning. Gotta bring Heather and Jason back to the airport tomorrow-and I'm gonna get lunch in the bargain, woohoo!
