Well, we had an eventful night. DD was upstairts all snug and drugged up and then we had a tornado warning. What a site trying to get drugged 15 year old down two flights of stairs. Good thing DS came home from work.

Everything is calm here this morning and DD had a wonderful night (of course I was the one up every 2 hours getting meds ready, ice packed in jaw bra, and food ready for her to eat.

We left Dallas (Frisco) last night at 930 and I was going to stop at my Aunts house which is the half way point and spend the night but oldest ds wanted to come home and I wasnt to tired when we passed thru. We finally got home 2:15 this am.
My oldest is still very excited about the concert. The hurricane hit while we were gone too but only some rain and wind here. Dh said it wasnt to bad, we are close by Galveston and that wasnt the direct hit spot so everything is good here. And really a 1 isnt that bad for us hurricane people.

Kimmar Im so happy you are getting to go to Disney in Aug. Though I wish it was in Dec when it looks like there will be others there.

...yesterday, my friend and I drove to Cranford [NJ] to put a deposit on an RV that we will be renting for our trip to WDW. Well, the guy wasn't there, so I called him on my cell...he told us to wait 20 minutes!!! I had my first "negative gut feeling" when I realized his office wasn't an office, but an old trailer in the corner of the property!! We decided to peak into the RV's that were parked there....skee-vee, YUKKKKK!!! I already had a hold (with my Disney Visa) on another RV thru' "Cruisin' America", that was a little pricier. After discussing it with my friend, we decided to hi-tail it outta there and just go with the other one (the downside to the Cruisin' one is that we have to pick it up in Wall, NJ, which is quite a hike for us). Sooooo, I guess it's OFFICIAL!!! We're going' to WDW!! (I already made ressies to HDD and O'Hana; I'm so stoked... )

Lizzie, sorry to hear things have been so rough at home. I do hope you all are feeling better soon.

Tara, you made me laugh with the comment about your son and liking Todd's blondes I think a comment like "I'm separated" would bug me too. I don't trust that... a friend's parents were separated for like 10 years or more before they divorced and I am not sure that was finalized before her dad died or not. You never know what goes into those. Obviously no offense to those who might be separated but for dating purposes

Betty, what a night for you!! Glad all is okay and these storms we've been getting ahve really been making me mad. Of course we could have had a tornado warning but I wouldn't have known last night w/o the power But I hope they stop it soon!

...I figured, so what if we spend a "little" more on the RV...it's newer (Cr. Amer. told us their RV's are 2003's, 2002's, and some 2001's) and , after all, we WILL be sleeping in it, not just using the vehicle for transportation!

Does anyone know where the nearest Publix is to Ft W, so we can get groceries for the week?

Speaking of films...Elaine...forgot to mention in our last deep discourse re: 21-st century American cinema...Antonio is going to be in 3-D!!!! This is MOMENTOUS... a cabana man in THIRD DIMENSION!!!

Now ELaine ..remember those booster seats are for the KIDDIES...and don't make me call the theater manager to alert them of your coming and have them bring out a special seat belt contraption..Antonio isn't REALLY there...it's an ILLUSION, sweetie...I know...it looks like he's reaching for you...it's cruel come to think of it. BUt I think you'll still enjoy yourself if you remember that it's JUST a MOVIE.

Ugh...I hate errands too...I can't find any way to make them fun.

She has very little swelling. And they are all still upstairs. I have made many trips upstairs and they have made many down here. They just came down and got The Ninja Turtle Movie.....they are letting her have her way. Must be the drugs because she normally wouldn't want to see it.

I love Ellen in Nemo also.....she was so cool and forgetful.
