Hey, everyone!! Feelin' almost normal now!!! Busy, busy, busy day at work. No, they don't have a replacement for me yet, unless the boss' wife counts (and she IS putting in more hours, so far) But, this work stuff is REALLY cutting into my DIS time and my internet play time!!! I mean, NOT FAIR!!! I have my priorities, ya know, and they include Lainey, Deena, Tara, Kim, Jeannie, Pam, Todd, Kimmar, Kristy, Betty, Debbie, Sherry, Von, Tony, Lizzie, Wanda..........

Kristy, I've been keeping up the prayers and PD for your DGF and FIL. Glad to hear they are both stable for the time being and hope things improve.

Geez, for my 16th birthday, I got to make dinner for the family cuz my mom was preggo with #6 and just couldn't do anything. Even had to make my own cake. So, the next year, I saved up all my babysitting money and threw my own slumber party and got lots of presents!!

Jeannie, I'm with ya, honey!! It is extremely difficult to express oneself properly when limited to only 2 emoticons. I mean, we're such NATURALLY emotional people!!!

Whats up with the smilie limit. I thought it was 2 but when I went to change my resorts for my Oct visit (just added HRH to OKW) it kept telling my I was over my limit and all I had was 2 pink bouncies. I thought the limit was 2!?!?!

DS is still sick but he will be able to go to school for 2 hours while I go do my practicum. Now my mom is sick so we missed her birthday dinner, will have to reschedule. And my grandmother's radiation is starting to give her lots of pain so we sat in the hospital for an hour today waiting to get a chest xray. We have our fingers crossed that it is the radiation and not the tumor coming back. So I am very ready to get out of the house and be amongst the feeling well. All this sick is giving me a headache (grimmace with gun to head!!) Other than that all is well.

Sorry if I missed anyone or anything. Must try and sleep!

Don't worry, Tara, the boss is well aware of how I feel since I turned in my resignation! He even apologized to me for creating the atmosphere that I find unbearable!!!! Hi all! Still now power herer today. It's been over 27 hours and I am not happy. I know I should be happy that all is fairly good in our home, but my God what the heck is wrong with the power people if they can't fix power in 27 hours????? And it sounds like our transformer blew so why is it taking so long!!!!

I'm here at work today... very tired and just in a cranky mood. AEP is getting a piece of my mind because our block always loses power for no reason too. They REALLY need to fix that!

Thanks again everyone for your birthday wishes. Hubby surprised me by coming home early and taking me out to dinner. At the restaurant he presented me with a gift certificate to my favorite spa. Needless to say, now I can get my favorite mud wraps and massages. Yummy, must check my appointment book.

Unfortunately, now I'm sick with the ickies that everyone seems to have. Sore throat, sinuses, achey. YUCK!!! Pixie dust for a quick recovery!!!

Kim, yep still no power and it is still raining. It's supposed to stop though and we are having the roof people come Friday, Tuesday and some other time I think. Not very pretty here at all! We have flood warnings through the day today. We just can't seem to cut a break in this area.
