Tara - glad you're surgery went ok. Sorry about your throat. My best friend is an OR nurse and she used to tell me about problems with putting in the breathing tubes. Hope you feel better soon.

Elaine- The release date of October and missing the grammy cut was one of the more recent stories. But now they're back to late September. He is even on the home page for grammy.com.

Sherry - Wedding??? Whose having a wedding???? Jeez, what did I miss?

Tara....sore throat ick....I've had them before too though after surgery. They probably used a plastic tube last time and a metal one this time. Glad to hear that everything else went okay though.

Betty....I have to say that I love your aviator. Every time I read one of your posts I have to take about 1 minute to just watch the little dog shake his head. so cute!

School starts tonight. So I'll be out of here a little after 3 and not back on till after 7. Who's gonna be my algebra tutor??

Evening all,

I just got home from the airport, picked up ds!! It is sooooooo wonderful to have him back by my side. He came home sick, but that's okay b/c we have a few days to just hang before school starts for me.

Nancy..did you make it out of vegas before the floods?

Sherry..weddings are fun, as long as you are not the one getting hitched or the ones stuck paying the bills.
Beast..Hi.. and I have to tell you I have a shirt with you on it. It is you with the purple cape and it says "My Prince"!!! So nice to meet you in cyber space!!
Kristy..I teach remedial math...2 + 2 = 4 (if you are lucky and the numbers don't have negatives and the planets are in alignment! So you see I'm no help in the math dept. either)
Beth..HELLO!! I'm still pondering the boggy thing too. Couldn't find it on webmd, gonna have to look somewhere else.

Hi, All...okay, never been to a Casino, guess I'll be going to one soon, LOL! Only Casino I've been around is clams casino (yum)

Speaking of yum, we decided to try a bunch of places we'd never eaten at before for this trip. Tonight's adventure was the Sci Fi and it was awesome...I got a huge rack o ribs. Kids loved the 'movies'!

Tara, PD to you. I've had a couple of friends go through similar surgeries, and I hope you have a speedy recovery. I had the same thing happen the one time I was put completely under. I ended up not really eating anything for a week, because it made everything taste funny.

Sherry, Tuxes? Wedding? Get lots of pictures of those menfolk in the sharp threads...there's something that I love seeing-the male species (bigguns and littluns) in those tuxes!

Kristy, Just remember Please Excuse My Dear Aunt Sally for those order of operations!!! Algebra was a breeze for me. Hang in there with it!

Betty, YAY school starting! I'm right there with ya. My son starts Monday and it is not a minute too soon!

Beth, come see me Monday and I'll have a boo for you. I also have one for Sherry, and if anyone else wants, just let me know by tomorrow night!

We're actually moving to a casino!! I've seen a "few" in the last few days

Beth....no I didn't bring home ANY money. What wasn't lost in the casinos was spent shopping That was the most expensive 3 days I have ever had!!
Great shops!! Great resorts!!
My feet still hurt. It was hot!!
We were there for the heavy rain and hail, but it didn't effect the casino area.....watched it on the news though. Almost got our flight delayed, but we made it out.

JEANNIE!! "O" was fantastic!! I liked it the best so far.
Acrobatics, gymnastics and then throw in the water element. I was mesmorized!!

DD is at school now.
Betty, I had it easy this year She only had her car full of things to take (a very small car)......most of it clothes
Everything else was already there.
