RRBB, enjoy that bubble bath.

I'm headed over to PixieMagic's house later today. We're going to a movie (Mad Hot Ballroom) then back to her place to watch the DCL VIDEO!! and swim.

I think tomorrow will be "World at War" day with my BIL, unless he can't wait and will go see it today without me. Then will probably slap some meat on the grill......I'm kind of in the mood for pork chops!

Mmmmmmmm, chocolate fondue bubble bath!!! A friend gave me a jar of it a few months ago and this was the first time I've had a chance to try it out. All I can say is, DECADENT!!! It was yummy!

ibouncetoo, have fun at the movies. That's supposed to be a really good one. I'd love to see it, but it's so hard to get away these days for that long without a baby in tow. Hey, maybe next Sunday during Father/Son outing time... The next movie ohanafamily and I plan to see - TOGETHER - is Charlie and the Chocolate Factory. Granny B gave us movie tickets for our anniversary with the stipulation that she gets to come over and play with a baby while we're gone. And since that's one movie I know both of us want to see...

Well, now it's up to my scrapping room for a while. Later gaters.

Hello gang,

It is ribs for us today.

My DH makes them with a yummy dry rub (he is from TN and went to school in Memphis). I had never had ribs cooked that way until it met him (raised on Texas ribs with BBQ sauce). They are very tasty with the rub.

He is also going to make homemade pizzas. Can you tell he likes it when he has time to cook?

Hope everyone is having a great weekend!

Sher

Well, I'm back! I had a GREAT!!!! trip. My faith has been totally revitalized and it was one of those life-changing events... That's the short edition!

We like ribs too, but no one has top my Dad's ribs yet.

Welcome home DHsenior, we missed you.

We were gone all day yesterday to a friend's house. They have a pool and we cooked out. It was a beautiful day in NH the weather could not have been more wonderful.

Supposed to go to another pool today but boy I'm bushed from yesterday.

Hey blue can you bring some ribs to the chocolate party! They sound good!

HAPPY 4TH OF JULY EVERYONE!!!

I'm starting to get ready for my pool party today. It should be fun - it's just going to be our family and one family from my DH's work so it will be relaxing also - I don't feel the need to entertain anyone.

DHSsenior007 - it's so good to see you back and I'm glad to hear that you had a good time. When you get a chance - tell us about your trip and what you did.

RRBB - I think it's really great that you are teaching TagBabyIan how to use sign language to communicate with your niece. Both him and your niece will be very grateful to you and ohanafamily when they are older because they will be able to have a great relationship without any boundaries due to your nieces deafness. You two are great parents.

Alright guys - I gotta go and put a movie in for BabyKate and start getting ready for my party. I hope everyone stays safe today!!

slo

Happy 4th July everyone.

Work today was OK. I was so nervous last night I couldn't sleep due to the inspection so I went in at 7am. I had an inspector in my room for an hour and a half during my English lesson but that was all for today. The lesson went well though and the inspector liked it which was good. Then after work I had to have an interview with them too. Tomorrow they are watching my maths lesson and then tomorrow evening I have the school play from 7pm so it will be another long day!

So what did everyone do today? I hope you all have a better day than I did!!

Oh well enough moping around. I need to go and look up care hire prices as we are hoping to go to France for a day next weekend to do some shopping. At least that is something to look forward to.

HAPPY JULY 4TH!!!

Good Afternoon everyone...

DHSsenior007, nothing much has really been going on, a lot of people were missing you, TalkisCheap (from the Mr. Back's thread) torqued off a mod, and they banned her and deleted the thread she made the rude comments on. If you want to say Hi, I sent you a link in a PM. You didn't really hang out with her, but you did ask... We are all celebrating July 4th, and there are only a few pages since you left....BTW, I would love to hear all about your trip... Please tell us!!!!!!

Oh, BTW, Microsoft finally called me back at 12:00 AM yesterday morning, and it took all of a half hour to fix the problem... Now I just neef to redo the websites that got hosed (I restored from an old backup. I am still a little bummed because we lost all of the pictures from last years Tag Meet. Oh well.....

Anyone going to be at WDW between 10/22/2005 and 10/30/2005?
We are gonna see edcrbnsoul at MNSSHP on the 25th, maybe do an Ohana's too. We will meet our cousin there too (She works for Seaworld, and is fairly close to Shamoo) We will probaby take her to Calif Grill or Artist Point one night. She might even take care of TagBabyIan one night so we can do the DD thing.....

OK, Off to watch my movie now...

I didn't get a PM. Could you maybe resend it??

Off to go unpacking...

DanaUK just wanted you to know I thought of you today.....at the grocery store.....passing a giant assortment of Oreos...:teeth:

Thanks for thinking of me ibouncetoo I sure could have eaten some oreos today. Things at work are quite low at the moment. We had the inspectors in for a few days which although some things went well others didn't. Work tomorrow is going to be really hard.

So how is everyone else doing? I hope you all had a great 4th July.

DanaUK, I am looking aa box of 30 packs of Oreos... we went to Sam's club this weekend...I am sorry, I shouldn't be such a naughty boy...but you have Cadbury's there.....

I hope all went well with your inspection!!!

I wonder if I took a dive in the M&M pool, and ate some of the M&M's, would they melt in my stomache, not in my hair????

:confused3

Okay, since I've had a request for wanting to know about my mission trip, here ya go (just warning you, it might get lengthy!):

I went into this trip not knowing anyone at all, and it seemed that everyone already knew each other from previous mission trips, so I was totally intimidated, but by the end, we were all so close and just one big family. The type of manual labor I did included spackling, painting, glazing windows, dry walling, sheet rock-ing, cutting dry wall, and tearing down ceiling. The team split up so we all had a kind of 'team.' There was a decking/carpentry team that rebuilt a deck. They built and installed a ramp so the elderly man that lived there (he had frequent visits to the hospital) could have an easier trip to the ER. There was also the roofing crew that tore down an old roof and installed a new tin roof in 4 days. We all did a lot of work! We didn't get to finish the ceiling project, but there was another team coming in the day we left to finish it, so it's one of those bittersweet endings.

My church belongs to this bigger 'congregation' I guess you could call it (I'm trying not to name names here... Y'all crazy ax-murderers!!). They put together this mission trip that has one team of 55 people with two different crews that each had a seperate destination. While mine went to West Virginia, the other went to Juarez, Mexico. The day we left, some people that had already gone on their trip to Mexico (Their trip was before ours) came and waved us off. They all said that it's not about the work you do, but it is about the relationships you build. That is too true. I got so close to all of the people and I miss them so much. The whole trip totally changed my life and I hope that I will stay as religious as I am now and keep my 'fire burning' as someone said the very last night.

Ooohh.... I hope this didn't get too personal or religious... I don't mean to offend anyone at all.

Have a great night everyone!

DHSsenior, I'm very proud of you. It sounds like a life altering trip.

Danauk, I hope all goes well today, keep us informed. Sending cyber oreo's your way.

Good morning everyone. Belly flop in the M&M pool!

DHSsenior, I can't write now - late to work and have tons to do - but I will be back at some point to tell you about my mission trip and the feelings I had after it and during it. It was one of the most incredible experiences of my life and it still is with me today - so your fire will continue to burn.
I went to Utah and the Navajo Nation for six weeks.

:sunny: Good morning everyone.
