Hello - and how is everyone this fine Monday evening.

We had a great day yesterday. Stephanie had a big accomplishment this weekend - she learned how to ride her bike w/o her training wheels . I am so proud of her, and she's really doing great at it. My little baby is growing up!!

This morning I had new M&M's brought in for the pool. They are still pastel and they are now peanut. Enjoy!!!!

Well....I'm going to go take a dip in the pool and then go watch some tv. I hope you all have a good evening and a great tomorrow.

Good morning!!

Thanks for the congrats OF!! I've seen websites like the one you talked about, too true! One of my friends was putting together a website for an organization I'm in, and he was wondering what our e-mail addresses were. I told him I didn't want mine posted on there, and I didn't want my last name on the site either. He didn't understand why not, but he didn't put it on there anyway.

For drill team we're doing a sister hunt thing all week. I have no idea who my little sister is, but I have to do a lot of stuff for her till I find out who she is on Friday. Let me give ya the schedule:
Tuesday: Hang poster in hallway (our director is going to put their names on it) with clues behind them. The new rookies will find the poster with their name, look behind it, grab the note and read it and it will tell them where their next place to go is.
Wednesday: Follow the first clue, go pick it up along with the second clue. For my little sister, she's going to get a bag of candy and a big balloon that says "Congrats"
Thursday: Follow second clue, receive second gift and third clue. On Friday we're going to wear the same thing so we see each other and know that that's our big/little sister. I bought to really unique bandanas.
Friday: Follow third clue and we meet each other. I have another gift for her that's a small make-up bag with ballerinas on it (guess where I got it? WDW at the France pavillon!) and a keychain.

Should be interesting....

OK, WDW question, In October we are going to take TagBabyIan for his first haircut. We are spending 1 night at the BCV, and the rest at SS. Should I adjust the ressie so all nights are at BCV or SS??? and which one??? Decisions Decisions... BTW, DHSsenior007, too bad it will be during Party season at school, we could prabably use a sitter (OK, I am just kidding, but it's a thought...)

Morning chocolate lovers! I'm home from Disneyland.....a day early. After a whirlwind morning in Fantasy Land yesterday, we went to DTD and had a lovely lunch at Catal. While discussing what to do next, I suggested a nap at the hotel. Actually, I was getting pretty achy and having discomfort sitting, so PixieMagic suggested we just head on home and have a nice day of rest (today) before going back to work. Spending most of a day in my jammies sounded WAY GOOD. I'll head on out later today to get in tons of supplies for when I'm trapped at home after my surgery next week AND I still have to hit the 'submit' button on my taxes (OK, actually I still have one piece of info to track down to complete them).

What I'm not sure about is surviving three more days at work....we'll see how it goes tomorrow, if it's bad, I'll just have to take Thu and Fri as sick days and start my leave early....or maybe just do 1/2 days those two days and just do everyone's standing/walking tasks. Which leads me to a question.......

Why in heaven's name, doesn't Walgreens sell 'donut' cushions????? Why do I have to hunt down a medical supply store or an Osco Home & Health to get one??? Can't find an Osco Home & Health in my phone book! ARRRRG! I'm currently using a 'home made' one......rolled up beach towel! I guess as the 'annoyance' level increases I'll be less nervous about the surgery and be glad to get in the hospital and have this taken care of!! At least when I come home I should have some good drugs (for a couple of days anyway)

Well guys it went very well. As a matter of fact I start Thursday. It's just a temp job but I look at it as stretching unemployment longer. It's in walking distance of my house and I can be home before DH goes to work. It's actually ideal. Thanks for all the good wishes.

Hi All !!!!

Hope everyone is doing well here...

Went to Walgreens and they had (m) (m) on sale 2 bags for $3.00 so I bought peanut & plain...DH is the ONLY one in our family that likes Dark Chocolate so I didn't buy them because he will complain that he will have to eat the whole bag alone.. At least with the peanut ones we all like them, the plain ones DS & I both like them..

Uncle Joe was here and Gone and the visit was Really nice.. We went to lunch just the 2 of us and then 1 night we all went to dinner.. He has so many friends here and as busy as he was, we hardly saw him..

Him and his wife will be back May 5th. They are being "honored" and a local charity group are placing a bronze statue at a local park of their daughter on May 7th in honor of Children With Cancer.. She actually passed away 10 years ago, she was 19.. They had to give 5 pictures and the Group picked which one they liked best..so it is a Surprize and we can't wait to see it..
But we are all planning dinner for DS 15th Birthday on the 6th.. They won't be staying with us this time, they are going to their friend's house..

Ok so off I go for now...I should be back tomorrow...

Thank you, Yes it will be an Honor to be able to see their daughter in a bronze statue.. But now they live in NC so it is a semi hike back and forth but, she is burried here so they do come often.. On her stone is her SR High School Picture and it looks so real, I cry every time I go to see her. She was DH cousin and he can't go to the cementary because of the picture so we are REALLY interested to see the statue..

DS will be 15 May 6th..Not sure what we are doing. He may want to have a PaintBall Birthday Party..oh sorry I can't call it "party"...haha he's funny...He says Parties are for kids..I said Yea, tell me that again when you are in college..He said duh MoM, no, I mean birthday parties...

Ok so off I go for now...Be back tonight..

Our anniversary is tomorrow sooooo we are either going to HaNa Japenese or to The Ocean Gate House where our reception was.. Oh and it soooo figures too, I broke my wedding band and it won't be fixed until Friday.
