Good morning guys (or good night to some of you by the looks of things!!)

So what does everyone have planned for today? I'm not sure what we will do. Last night we had fun at our Grease night and we raised some money for our theatre group which is good.

DHsenior I'm glag you were able to take the April fools joke so well. I always fall for jokes too, I believe people far too easily.

pfishgirl, cute pictures of your friends and their new baby. I read your posts on the getting caught thread. Too funny!!

I was only kidding about me leaving - I did'nt even consider this reading as if I was kidding about you being a nice and charming girl. I truly meant that you are !!! The Dis is a wonderful, safe place for teens to visit and your parents should be very proud of you for choosing to come here, and not going to a scary website that would be unacceptable for teens to visit .

Stephanie, my 6 1/2 yr old, sees me on this site all the time, and I told her that when she is older she can come on this site too and talk to all my Dis friends. I truly believe that she will because she's see's how much I enjoy it, and this website is not for SQUARES (do teens ever use that term???)

Anyway....keep up the good work on being a good person !!!

We did have a great day yesterday. I hope the weather during the early part of the day was as nice for you as if was for me here in NW Indiana. At 11:30 in the morning we went miniture golfing - and it was kinda crowded. A lot of people wanted to get some fresh air.

hi guys,
I'm not doing much today, just housework! I am panicking slightly already about our Christmas trip though. When we phoned WDW to book some backstage tours we were told we would not be ablr to book them until 90 days before. Then I have read threads today where people have already been able to book these tours. So now I am hoping I am not too late. Our friends need to phone to book as they are DVC members so get discounts on the cost. I tried to phone them to let them know but they are not in!!

Slo I'm glad you had fun mini golfing with Stephanie. I used to love doing mini golf with my dad when I was little.

Okay...I started my posting earlier and then I had to change a dirty diaper. So...how is everyone this fine Saturday?? I'm doing okay - Danauk, I'm going to be joining you today with the housework. I have some catching up to do.

pfishgirl - the baby pictures are great. I just love hearing about new babies - they really are darling !!

monoraildude - good to see you - how's it going??

Danauk - we did have a great time Mini-golfing. I don't keep score and I don't make her follow all the rules (so I let her cheat ), but she's starting to get pretty good, and I think by the end of the summer I'm going to start showing her how to play by the rules. I'm glad you had fun at your Grease party and were able to raise some money .

cheeringmom - I'm glad you were able to get your coffee . I understand what it's like to not have coffee - I drink way to much of it, and when I don't get my daily fix I just feel terrible. I really should cut down, but just they opened a Dunkin Donuts close to my house and I have to give them business - don't I .

Alright, I better be on my way - I have to go dye my hair (not in the mood to that this morning), but my grey hair is starting to show through . I'm 33 yrs old and probably 50% grey - how old does that make me feel !!! So...I will go get my fountain of youth in a box, apply it to my hair, and presto .....I look younger again!!!

Good morning, it's still raining, it's 8:30am and it's grey and gloomy. I think I'm done whining.

Good morning to you all - have you guys been watching the media coverage of the Pope passing away? I have and I find it so interesting - I knew he was a wonderful man and he did many wonderful things in life - but I didn't know the extent of it until I saw the media coverage on him and his life.

I was not born and raised Catholic, I was Lutheran, and I converted before my DH and I got married . Therefore, before 10-11 years ago I didn't pay that much attention to the Pope and what he was doing. I was disappointed in my Parish yesterday because they did very little for the Pope passing away . Stephanie and I went to church a 1/2 hour early because I figured it would be packed, and that our Priest would be doing something before church started. I guess I was hoping he would have candles to light and prayers before church, and I really wanted Stephanie to be a part of this. But...it was just like an ordinary Saturday . The Priest did say a little about The Pope passing away, but nothing like I expected. This Priest is leaving in July because he has upset many people within the church and within the school. I hope our new Priest is a little more outgoing.

Onto another topic....the weather is suppossed to be pretty nice here today in the Chicago area and I am hoping the girls can play outside for awhile. The fresh air is really good for them - they are definitly getting cabin fever. DH is starting the deck around our pool and that is pretty exciting . DH and his dad made an enormous deck on our last pool in our last house and it was the only thing that I was sad to not be able to take with us when we moved . DH said that this deck will be just as nice, and I believe him because DH and his dad are very talented when it comes to these type of projects .

Hi All!!!

Congrats on the PR position DHS, I have a comment though...My office is in Highland Park, and they post pictures of the teams with their full names, class, etc. I get REALLY Paranoid when I see those.

SLO, I have been watching the papal coverage too. I am glad that he passed peacefully, and hope that his replacement will do as many good things for the world.
