Well, my good friend is now officially 1 week Past her Due Date sooooo Wednesday at 5pm, she is being induced.. I told her, her daughter is just being stubborn like the rest of the family..

Sorry I haven't been around lately, I have been busy at work... at home... and a little playing (once a year or so I have to take a break and build a new computer. Some might call it continuing education or keeping up skills, RRBB justs rolls her eyes...

Chocolate Bunnies... I thought EARS FIRST is the UNIVERSAL answer (I can't picture who would want to eat the tail first...)

Let's see... I have a good story to tell about my day yesterday... at 10:00am I was at my desk when a request came in to scan a photo and enlarge it (happens every once in a while) I put the picture on the scanner, started the scan and reached for a bite-sized snicker-crunch candy bar... Big mistake...I CHIPPED A TOOTH!!!. I called me dentist, they set me up a visit at 2:30 (I commented that it was the dentists favorite time... Tooth Hurty) and dutifully went there. It was very close to the nerve so they needed to do a ROOT CANAL. OK, did I mention that I have been buried at work and people are leaving town for several weeks so I really can't come in for the three visits... She saud Well, If you have the patience and don't mind a little more discomfort we can do thwhole thing now... It was almost 8:00pm when I left there, the crown will be here in 2.5 weeks. I spent about 5 HOURS in the Dentist chair. I feel OK, but my mouth is definatley sore.

One more note, when I got to the drugstore ALL OF THE EASTER CANDY WAS ON SALE!!!, I was so out of it I didn't even buy any...

Oh well, at one point when I could exercize my jaw, they asked me how I was doing so I answered I BEATS GETTING A ROOT CANAL...OOOPS..we all started laughing...

Hi again my chocolate loving friends,

Things have been busy here lately so I haven't had much time to DIS. As the weather seemed to get better I did some work in the garden. Pete and I finished the waterfall into the pond (cleaverly using willow screaning to hide the pump and filter!!) and I have been busy weeding putting down more bark chippings (10 huge bags!) and I decided to completely re do the front of the house. So I dug out 4 bushes, covered the area in bark chippings and planted lots of pots instead. I'm glad I got that done as now the weather is back to its usual self, yes it's raining!

Yesterday we decided to have a break and go to a theme park called Thorpe Park. It is about 2 hours away and we have never been before but we can get in for free with our Tussauds annaul pass. So we rode some new rollercoasters (including one with 10 loops which was cool!) and we rode a new ride called the slammer. It is like a giant fly swat which you get spun around on and you look like you are going to slam into the ground.

The ride was new as it only opened on Monday. However after we went on it it broke down. The people were stuck on it, fortunately facing upwards but at the top. They were stuck for 45 minutes in the rain!! 3 fire engines had to be called and just as they were about to life the people out the ride managed to lower!

RRBB it sounds like you are Ian are having fun. I bet you can't wait for the nice weather to do more things outside together.

slo I'm glad Katie got her cast off. I bet she loved having a bath at last.

Congratulations PG Sweetie on becoming a moderator over on the teen boards. I'm sure you will do a great job.

Oh well, back to work. Today I am spring cleaning. At the moment Pete and I have a study each but now I mainly use my laptop I don't really need one so we have decided to share a study and turn my study into a guest bedroom. But first I need to clear out all my clutter and sort things out. Then we have decided to sort out the loft (which I am dreading going as things have just been thrown up there over the past 7 years!) But then some of my school things can be stored in the loft and we will be able to find things easier. Once that is done I am going to repaint the guest room and get new furniture and bedding. But that will be months away, I think perhaps a summer holiday job. But it gives me time to find some nice bedding etc.

Going to lunch with my DH's Uncle Joe.. he is going to be staying with us for a few days. He lives in Southern Pines NC... He is here for Opening Day of Little League.. (he use to be the president of LL, he retired 2 years ago, they LL named the street going into the balll field in honor of him) so now every year he comes back for opening day ceremonies..

I've been very busy this past weekend. It was a four day weekend, so I am now very relaxed. But soon, ohhh no, not anymore! Drill team try-outs are this week, and though I don't have to try-out again, I am trying out for social officer, and all of my friends on DT are going for dance officer, of which there are only 2 positions! Can you say 'cat fight'??

Anyway, my stress level is about to rise, especially since this guy I've been in 'like' with for four months (Blake, not Patrick!!!), keeps on flirting with me, but doesn't want a girlfriend.... Men...

Danauk - your landscaping sounds like it is coming along really well. I can hardly wait till I can work out in my yard. The yard we have now needs so much work because the past owners of this house let the whole yard go down the toilet. Would you like to come over and help me?? - I could use the help .

RRBB - how's TagBabyIan doing?? Did you and ohanafamily have a nice first Easter with him? Babies are so much fun aren't they

Well, I better go and put BabyKate in the tub. Stephanie is spending the night at Grandma's tonight, so that means I can watch a rated R movie tonight that I can start at 8pm instead of 10pm.

well i am sitting here very IMPATIENTLY for the phone to ring. our friend's had a 5pm appointment at the hospital to be induced..they were suppose to call us if she came tonight, we didn't care what time as long as they called so we knew all was Great with both baby & mom... i think if she did arrive already they may wait til morning to call.. BUT i wanna know NOW!!!

Well, Blake is awesome, of course, in my opinion! He's not too smart, but he's really sweet and charming. He's being the typical guy right now and isn't into anything at school, just videogames at home, but who's perfect? He's the one person I've ever ran into while on vacation, and at WDW nonetheless! Thanks for the pixie dust!!! I do hope he comes to his senses!

Yesterday there was a fire at my school! We were evacuated and everything, of course, all because of a fire from a dryer in the laundry room. The room is located in the big gym, so we couldn't use that for try-outs yesterday. Instead we used the little gym with rubber floors (you cannot turn very well on those!) and the cafeteria. I found it rather funny because on the local news last night, they said that it took about 3 minutes for the 1300 students out, in reality, I think it took about 5. Then they said that we were back in class after 10 minutes! Nope, more like 15-20!

Anywho... sorry this post is so long! I gotta go!

We had our first spring storms here in the Chicago area last night. We had a lot of wind and hail. At one time, it hailed so much, that I couldn't hear the movie I was watching because of the hail pounding on the sky light in the kitchen.

geffric - how did you weather the storms last night? I hope all is well with you.

So....the movie I enjoyed last night w/ Stephanie being at Grandmas was The Village. Has anyone else seen it??? I'm curious on what you thought of it.

I better get going at give BabyKate her breakfast and then be off the work. It is really windy here today - so I guess I will blow in the wind all the way to work today
