hello again :wave2:

well i did it!!! i started a scrapbook !!! woohooo !!! :cheer2:
i have 12 pages done so far and have a bazillion to go. :earseek:

it's a 100% disney book. :earsgirl: :earsboy: it starts with our trip in october 2004. i am not going to date anything because half the dates i forgot. :confused3 plus then i can mix pictures from different years and noone will notice.. well except if we are in the pictures people will tell by DS growing up. :teeth:

oh and also i decided NEVER to bring a camera to disney again!!! :rotfl:

i can NOT believe how many pictures we have of each park, every parade, shows, rides, us doing something silly :earboy2: etc..

i am thinking about making a cruise book :boat: all on it's own. i have enough pictures from previous trips to almost fill a book. so when we go for a week in 06 i will have new and different pictures to add and complete it.. :wizard:

well it is snowing here :cold: and we are expecting 5-7 inches..i am so hoping the weather channel is wrong :rolleyes1 (like always)

ohhhh, we went to Old Monmouth Candy shop today and bought some yummy soft gooy carmel filled milk chocolate eggs.. :cloud9: dh wanted sour gummy cherries, however, we brought them home and they are sweet not sour so someone had mixed the batch when filling up the containers.. :confused3
i bought a few sugar free rabbits for dh's uncle. he will be visiting from NC right after easter for the opening day of little league. (he use to be the president) but now he stills shows up each year. we also bought several peanutbutter filler bunnies and chicks for DS. i of course had to buy myself a hollow milk chocolate duckling (which by the way will NEVER make it to Easter) he'll be long eaten before then.

ok so off i go for the night...i will see you all tomorrow
:grouphug:

wow, i :listen: plows already!!! that is the benefit of living on the same road as the town's police station, town hall, municiple building and post office.. :p

night!!!

Good Morning all!!!!!

I think we need a special President's Day breakfast catered by Crystal Palace!!!

pfishgirl, That Scrapbook would never do in our houshold... Oh, and if you are REALLY into the Scrapbooking thing, your camera is NEVER far from you... Even at WDW.... I will give you a hint though, We moved to Digital Cameras a few years back; each picture has a time and date code assocuated with it... Also, you might take even more pics, so buy a big memory card!!! If you are into the Acid and Lignon free, you can have your camera store print "Real Photos, or you can research the best current printer (Epson makes some that are Acid and Lignon free and that don't smudge) and have your DH give you a gift (Guilty)

Oh well, Check-up this morning then foot appt. I guess I shouldn't admit this but I was doing a spot of spring cleaning yesterday and I missed a training seminar I wanted to go to (and signed up for) Oh Well...Oooops... I guess I can blame it on being a new father...Am I Bad?

:jumping2:

Oh goodie! Crystal Palace for breakfast.....yummmm!

PixieMagic and I have started to discuss PS's for the April trip. As it is a "my favorite things" trip many choices have already been made. But we do have to pick a 'new' place, as it's a RULE to eat somewhere new every trip. We can't decide if it should be high end (like Yachtmans) or a more 'normally' priced sit down restaurant (several places at World Showcase we haven't tried). Plus we each have a place that we've been to that the other hasn't, so we taking each other to those. I'm 'taking' her to 1900 Park Fair and she's 'taking' me to the restaurant in Morocco.

Yikes, time to hit the shower......don't have today off but most of the agencies I work with do, so it should be an 'easy' day!

TTFN

Hi guys,

ibouncetoo if you haven't eaten at the Yachtsmans steakhouse you must try it. We ate there 3 times on our last trip and it is on the list of places to make a PS for our next trip. We are trying a couple of new places next trip too (not hard seen as I have only been to WDW once for 12 nights!!) We are going to Bombas and Blue Zoo at the Dolphin. I think we are going to Ohannas too.

pfishgirl I'm going to have a go at scrapbooking our Christmas trip. Scrapbooking isn't big over here so I guess I will need to stock up on supplies when I am in WDW.

geffric those ribs look delicious. I really fancy some kebabs for dinner tonight now, however we are having weight watchers pizza and salad.

So have you guys had a holiday day today? I wish I had, I've only been back at work one day and I am ready for another break. I will sure be glad when this year is over and I get a nice class next year (the head has promised I can choose the class I want next year so I will definately get a nice class.)

So what do you all have planned for the rest of the day? This evening I plan to veg in front of the TV, do a little vacation research (we want to do a day at Universal, I particularly want to ride the coasters there) and then I have to wait for the supermarket to deliver my shopping (I love internet food shopping!)

:wave2:

Just checking in... we have today off.. so Eric had to got to CompUSA for a new graphics card for the 'puter... looked at digital cameras with a better zoom that the one I have..I am looking for a 10 X zoom.. not ready to buy yet.. and DH and I just got a new mattrass.. since we got ours before we got married , it needed to be replaced.. back now for lunch... then the boys are going to the Y for swimming and rcok climbing with friends.. I am thinking about closet cleaning...

ibouncetoo have you tired Artist Point yet?

pfishgirl I do a Disney scrap book every year for our vacation.. it is fun for me to see how the kids have grown and if I can take a picture for a different spot/angle to make things the same but different..

Thanks for breakfast OF.. how is Ian and RRBB doing today??

 Danauk you deserve so much for having tobabysit the class that you have this year...

Congratulations on the start of your scrapbooking obsession!!!

Twelve pages is great. I wish I could get even one page done these days. Maybe I should send all my photos and supplies your way and have you do my albums for me. ;)

Just dropping in before bed. I don't like going to sleep too early these days. I figure if I go to sleep morning will be hear quicker and that means I have to go to work!! Probably not the healthiest attitude to have, but never mind! The boss is out for 3 days but the deputy is back. I like it better when she is in charge though as she is a lot strickter on the kids.

I guess I should go to bed now as it is gone 11:30pm.

Have a great evening everyone.

...

Nope, not yet. I'd love to hear everyone's suggestion of their favorite $$$$ WDW restaurant (Don't even BOTHER to mention Victoria and Albert's, Mr. You Know Who You Are). I've done: Calif Grill, Jiko and the French place at World Showcase, which might not be $$$$ starting out, but by the time we finished ordering everything it was ::yes:: Gee, I guess that's it for what I consider the $$$$ restaurants, so there are lots of new places to try.

Just popping in to say night night. I'm sick as a dog and need my beauty rest. ugh. all day tomorrow is being spent at Walter Reed catching up on appts before we move! Hugs all.

Good Evening Everyone!!!

How is everyone? Did you all have a good weekend?

s&k'smom - congratulation on passing your CPR class. You want to know something shameful - my DH is a CPR instructor and I don't know CPR  .He's a fireman/EMT and I really should have him teach me someday, or go to one of his classes.

DHSsenior007 - congratulations on winning your awards :cheer2: . What a wonderful experience and memory for you to always have. That is great!! :flower:

Danauk- how fun to stumble across your picture on that website  . I have never had that happen to me. I think that's pretty cool - I just love rollercoasters!!

geffric - I am so jealous that you went to Ghiridellis for a sundae - I just love their sundaes  . I actually never went to the one in Chicago, only the one in Downtown Disney. Whenever we are in Chicago, like the last 2 weekends, it just never works out for us to go there. We did go to The Disney Store downtown the last two weekends and I of course left with to much stuff :teeth: One of the cast members said that that store is the largest Disney Store in the USA. She said that the one in New York is bigger, but it is owned by Disney and doesn't count :confused3 . Anyway, I found that interesting.

My weekend was okay. Stephanie and I had an awesome day on Friday :goodvibes We went shopping for a couple hours, went to McDonalds for lunch and went to the show to see Poohs Heffalump Movie - which was really good.
Saturday Katie started getting sick again with a cold (she just got over RSV a couple weeks ago) and it got worse on Sunday. She is always sick!! :guilty: It gets very frustrating after awhile - with her being 18 months she gets frustrated too and I can't blame her. I am just praying that she doesn't get RSV again, that would be a real bummer! I have already read that children that get RSV more than once are very likely to have asthma and she's had RSV twice already in her life. We just take one day at a time.

On the topic of the island - the M&M pool has changed today to peanut M&M's, so I hope everybody enjoys their swim the next time they visit the pool :smooth:

I guess that is about it - I hope everything is great with everyone and I will be checking back in soon. I'm off now to put my kids to bed. Goodnight!!!

ooooohhhhh peanut m&ms YUMMMMM....if i didn't feel sick to my stomach right now i'd jump on in and have a taste umm i mean swim.. :guilty:

ScrapBooking is FUN!!! :cheer2:
I have 14 pages done and still have more to go. I found some pictures of only 2 years ago and my gosh my son grew like 3 feet.. :earseek:
I have been having dizzy spells and a horrible headache :headache: all day and it just does not want to quit. Then we had Pizza Hut for dinner because dh knew I wasn't feeling well and that made me feel even worse. I have never had a bad reaction to pizza before so if all this doesn't clear up by tomorrow I am going to see the dr  Lucky for me my bestfriend works in the dr's office so I will get in and out quickly :hourglass

awwww :shamrock: isn't he cute????

do you think we will get a cute little bunny for Easter?? oohhh what about a CHOCOLATE bunny smiley??? awesome!!!!

ok off I go
Take Care
:grouphug:

If we are talking restaurants the next one I want to try is Yacht'sman Steakhouse. DH and I are real meat and potato people.

I hope you enjoy scrapbooking pfishgirl, I know I see a lot of threads about it here on the Dis.

thank you for changing the pool to peanut m&m's. They, like pizza, are a religeous symbol in my home.

Morning!!

Thanks for the congrats everyone!! It really means a lot to me! :)

Everybody at school yesterday was congratulating us, too! It was cool! We found out that we're (probably) gonna get shirts made and a banner put up in the gym!!

Anyway, today I have TAKS test. It's from 8:30 to 1:15, and I don't get lunch till 1:20!!! Woohooo.... for those not familiar with TAKS, it stands for Texas Assessment of Knowledge and Skills. It's a bunch of fun... I get to write an essay, answer open-ended questions, read passages, answer questions, and revise sentences!! And then after that, I get to go to chemistry where he said that we wouldn't have a free-day like all of the other classes are having... :(

QOTD: California Grill probably! We LOVE to watch the fireworks from there!! We love a lot of expensive restaurants, though, so that might not be my all time favorite...

Good Morning all!!!

I left some Count Chocula over in the other thread, so I will bring some here as well.
(With Chocolate Milk of course)

Also, Cheeringmom and pfishgirl, here is some PD and Chicken Soup for you...

Danauk, I have an odd question; do you really only have two bunnies? with that huge mansion of a hutch you built for them, I assumed (OK, that's what I get for assuming) you had a whole colony! And, how do you keep them from doing Maths (specifically Multiplication)??? (oh, and see if you can make the Ohanna's ressie so you can see Wishes!!!)

Oh well, back to the QOTD, RRBB and I seem to wind up at the yactsman for lunch on the day we leave. Not sure why or haw, it just seems to happen when we stay at the BCV. The food is good too. We also try to go to the Garden Grill at least once during our trip. It is one of the few places you can get a good Salad, and although I am not generally a Salad Person, I love it there. They grow it all on property. I understand that the Stek House in Canada is very good, but we haven't managed to get there yet. If you want to see some funny faces in the Merikesh restaraunt (Morocco) tell them you can't have Cilantro or Corriander (I did and wound up with plain Steak kabab and white rice-not even a salad). If you are in MK, we like Liberty tree Tavern. The food is good and it is a nice atmosphere.
GTG,
see you later...
:jumping2:

Good evening guys,

ohanafamily I have 3 bunnies, Holly, Misty and Saphire (all girls which is why they live togther and we still only have 3!!)

My favourite $$$$ restaurant has to be California Grill, but I also love Artists Point and Yachtsmans Steakhouse.

OK, I'll be back later as my SIL has just arrived.

ohanafamily Thanks for the Chicken Soup.
I am actually feeling MUCH better then yesterday. Not fully myself but I have enjoyed my day in peace here in my sweats & slippers. Too bad it's now almsot time for my DS to come home and make some noise... :rotfl: Thank goodness he is old enough (14) to keep himself occupied so I don't need to do anything for him. :cheer2:

off I go

Hope everyone else is Well !!!!!
