Hi guys,

I hope you all had a great Valentines day. I sure did. Guess where I was yesterday, I'll give you a clue.

I'll try to post the pictures better, but for now it will only let me post a link. If you click on first the picture will go smaller to look at and you can see 3 photos I took. I look huge in the last one, but it was so cold I had about 4 layers of clothes on!!I'll try to get the pictures up properly later.

On Monday we went to Paris on the Eurostar (the train direct from London, through the channel tunnel to Paris.) It only takes 2 1/2 hours to get from the centre of London to the centre of Paris. Pete had booked us into the hotel we stayed in on our honeymoon!! The in the evening we went for dinner on a boat cruise down the river Seine. It was wonderful. The Eiffel tower looked amazing as they had covered it in twinkling lights.
Then on Tuesday morning we went over to Disneyland for a while before we had to go back to the station to catch the Eurostar home! It was freezing though in DLP. There was real snow on Mainstreet!!

awwww what an awesome Valentine's present...I wish I was going to see Mickey... I have to wait til August to get to WDW... Paris..well let's just say I will never go to Paris..DH refuses!!! don't know why..

Well you know how I was lamenting the fact that DS won't eat chocolate well at least I'm brining up one child right. After a nice, healthy day I gave DD a piece of chocolate for dessert. Well I go upstairs to put the laundry away and I hear her singing, I love chocolate, I love chocolate, it's good!

Good Evening everybody!!
How is evbody tonight? We are doing great over here. I got a new camera phone yesterday - so I spent a lot of time at work today trying to figure it out The phone came with an instruction manual that is the size of a Bible. I was pretty impressed that I figured out as much as I did because I'm pretty bad at anything electronic.

Danauk - I am thrilled for you that you went to Paris on V-day and went to DLP - How fun is that!!!!

pfishgirl - I like the suggestion for green M&M's for the pool for St. Patricks Day

I will make the arrangements to have them delivered.

I have an overindulgence of chocolate confession to make. I bought some chocolate cupcakes topped w/ alot of icing for V-day. Last night I had one after supper and it was so good. I was so sad when the cupcake was gone After I put Kate to bed I told Stephanie that she could stay up and watch Westminister Dog Show with me - this was 8:00pm. But before I sat down with her I asked her to clean up the toys she dragged out in the family room and I went into the kitchen and quickly ate another cupcake before she could see me I didn't want her to have that much sugar before bed - and that's why I ate it so fast. I was a little embarrassed for myself - but it was sooooooo good. There's nothing like a great sweet treat at the end of the night.

Well, I gotta go and feed my kids dinner - I hope you all have a good night

Morning!!

I've been really busy lately!! With homework and drill team practice (CONTEST IS THIS SATURDAY!!!!!!!!!!!!!), I haven't had much time to post!

Anyway, we (the drill team) gets to leave really early from school tomorrow just to go to a place two hours away! The instructor told the office that we had to 'practice,' but instead we're just going to go shopping at a mall in the DFW area! Then we're going to a Italian restaurant so we can get pasta to have plenty of energy in the morning.

The M&M pool today is olympic coloured as today the olympic committee are in London to look at the city as a potential location for the 2012 games.

I guess I should be getting on with my paperwork. I need to fill in the forms to apply for a pay rise for next school year (for the first 7 years of teaching you automatically get a pay rise every year. After that every 3 years you can apply for an additional pay rise. However you have to provide written evidence and exam results to prove you deserve it.)

Hold on one second, where did you get girl scout cookies? MMMMMMMM thin mints, first though you put them in the freezer then have a bunch with a cup of tea or coffee.

Oh by the way, just watched the movie Chocolat. The chocolate scenes alone are worth it but now I so understand the Johnny Depp appeal.
