We did this in February and more or less would not recommend it. Now, it's true we had a pretty terrible tour guide who was not at all accurate with a lot of the "facts" on the tour but also gave bad advice to some of the questions asked. She also got us "passes" to ride on the Lily Belle car but they in fact weren't good for that at all.
I also felt the design of the tour was not well put together. You meet at Disneyland but are immediately taken to DCA. This might be better now with Buena Vista Street but nonetheless I don't think tells the "story" in a good order.
As mentioned you get a few extra fastpasses and some front of line experiences. In general I would says that it isn't really worth your time. It might be good for a midweek tour in late morning after you've had some time to enter the park at park open to ride a bunch of rides with little wait. Much better for a couple than a family. But Walking in Walt's is probably a better tour for the interested Disney adult.
If they had an afternoon tour it might be worth going on this on the first day or your trip, to get an overview of the parks.
