Welcome to cattle encounters of the 4th diMOOnsion!

i hope it does!

on an unrelated note, i have a story to cheer everyone up. I tried to make cake pops today on the new maker my friend got me for my birthday. Well the ziploc baggie i was using as a pastry bag (as per their recommendation) exploded. All over me, all over the counters, even all over the poor dog. it looked like a chocolate bomb went off. meanwhile, the pops I did manage to GET into the maker, were cooking. I was panicking. it was kinda hilarious.

So how did they turn out? :beach:

Well my Dad made it out of surgery, and is recovering at the moment in the hospital, he should come home tomorrow.

The compound dislocation of the collar bone in the shoulder, tore every ligament, and broke the socket apart, tore his rotator cuff and tore the muscle.

So the had to reconstruct the entire joint, tie off the muscle and ligaments to the bones and rebuild the socket.

He is not allowed to move it for three weeks, which means they put him in a body cast. He is not happy.

He is also a diabetic and his sugar has been out of wack since he went into surgery, so they are trying to get it under control, but for the most part, the worst is over and he is now on to recovery!

My moms sugar was high in the hospital . She couldn't take her meds. They used insulin instead.

I literally can't breathe and he has seen what it does to me... I have to use an epi pen,

That's crazy. Good for him though!

Thanks for the warm welcome, everyone!

My DH does all the cleaning at the house....
My DH does all the cooking; I (sorta) do the cleaning. Which means our house isn't very clean! :rotfl2:

I do a lot of the baking, so I'm also at risk for exploding cake pops & muffins!

Very glad to hear that the surgery went well. At least the body cast recovery part has a finite end!

Hope everyone who is ill feels better fast!
