Never met him. I'm told I went to DL when I was a baby, we lived in Cucamonga and Pasadena until I was 3 but I don't remember it. I'm pretty sure I didn't meet him then. I didn't go to WDW until I was a Mom with my son. I was in my mid 20s. He was 3. He wasn't into the non-face characters until he was a little older. I'm sure he must have met Mickey but I have no photos to prove it. I have photos with other characters. When he did meet characters, I did not go up with him. The only character I've ever met in over 40 years of going to the parks was Chewie. I have had characters sneak up on me and scare me half to death but even then I just screamed and/or laughed and had no other interaction with them. I did share breakfast with Big AL in MK one morning. I was sitting on one of the little platforms in FL eating my biscuit and watching the park wake up and he came and sat down beside me and leaned back and swung his legs like I was doing. No hugs, no other interaction.

1st trip was my honeymoon, so I was 26. We did a character meal that Liberty Tree Tavern had back then, but the photos I have of me are with Minnie, Pluto, and Miko, so maybe Mickey wasn't at that? I do have photos of him in the Spectromagic parade and wandering at Hollywood Studios (then MGM) ~

In the times I visited Disney, I prioritized other characters (like Phineas and Ferb) over the Sensational Six.
