Welcome home everyone from the 9/28 mystery cruise. I hope everyone had as fantastic of a time as we did.

Did anyone hear if we really ended up leaving those 8 people in St. Thomas? I know we left 30 minutes late and never saw anyone else enter the ship after the captain called for them so it appeared that possibly a few were left behind?

Also, did anyone hear how the little boy was that was air lifted off CC on Friday?

The renewal was fabulous and something we'll cherish forever. (I'll be doing a renewal recap in a few days).

Hope everyone arrived home safely.

Extremely tired and still rockin' and swayin'!

Hi Renee, sorry I never got to meet you:(
I did see a bride in a wedding dress in the mid ship elevator, was that you?
I never heard anymore about the cruisers whos names were anounced at St Thomas, also nothing on the little boy.
I also spoke with a women who's friend was to get married in Key West on Sunday. All the family and friends were on their way there when she found out we would not be stopping there! Everytime I started feeling bad that we missed Shirley at KW and the excurstions at GC and Cozumel, I had to remember this poor couple!:( Disapointing for us, but a REAL bummer for this couple.

I believe it was me. We renewed our vows on Thursday with Captain Tom. What a memorable experience it was. Once in a lifetime for sure.

I did meet Rae from the group but no one else that I'm aware of. I knew with our schedule not to make plans I couldn't keep.

I hope your cruise was as awesome as ours. It was truly our best.

Don't know about all the cabins that were called, but I did see 6003 coming out of their cabin on Thursday, so they weren't left. Also wondered about the little boy and his mom.
Saw Lauren and Mikes post about the cruise. Sorry they were so disappointed. We really missed going to Captain Marvins, but their web site is down and so hope all is well with them. Are looking forward to doing the Western next time. William had the time of his life! He made more friends and collected more pins! Soon he will have the back of his vest full! Elaine

Waaaa! Waaaa!!!! I almost started crying leaving the ship yesterday. I'm grateful we are home safely, but it was such a MAGICAL week I hated for it to end. Truly wonderful.

I heard from our server and another crew member (can't think of who now!!) that we actually didn't leave anyone in St. Thomas. One couple arrived at the last minute. Another was onboard but for whatever reason never contacted guest services.

Now we just have to book again for the awesome awesome Western Cruise!!! Renee--- we saw you walking into Lumiere's after your renewal on Thursday evening. You guys looked great!!! You also really cheered up a little boy who was having a rough time at the table next to us--- like seeing a real princess walk across the threshold!!!

We spent yesterday at the parks (are we nuts?!?!?!?) and had a great time. WE stopped at Mexico in Epcot and I bought a small souvenier. Ironically, the cashier was from Cozumel. She said her family was hit hard by the hurricanes and that her town is devastated. I was definately disappointed that our itenerary changed, but I hope that the islands and communities (including those in the US) are able to rebuild and heal quickly. We had a great time, and it was kind of fun to have a full two days of mystery in terms of where we were going. Also, I never would have thought to go to San Juan and we htought it was beautiful. The forts were amazing, and it was breathtaking to open the curtains to our verandah that morning and see the Fuerte de Morro coming onto the horizon.

I want to go back!!! It was good to meet those of you that I met after I got up the courage to introduce myself!!!

JM....thank you. I really felt like a princess that night. We're so glad we did the renewal as it was a once in a lifetime experience. Disney certainly does everything right and this was no exception.

I too thought that San Juan was gorgeous. The fort looked amazing as we sailed past into port. We actually walked over and toured it - did you make it over there? We have some fantastic pictures from the top of it.

I have to say, honestly I'm not at all disappointed as San Juan isn't a normal stop for Disney so we feel rather lucky to have been diverted there. Possibly another time we'll rebook a western (outside of hurricane season) so we'll be sure to make it to Cozumel and GC. But for now I've got my sights set on the Mediterranean cruise I've been reading about.

Renee -- I think I saw you guys! Were you taking pictures outside of Luminers by the back entrance? You were in your wedding gown and you had the rest of the bridal party with you. Someone was blowing bubbles - right?

That was my family waiting to take pictures after you. My girls loved the bubbles. It was me, DH Eric and two girls.

Renee,

Were you in Palo's Thursday night? We had 8:30 ressies and as we were seated we passed a couple dressed in their wedding finest. If that was you, then we were also standing immediately in front of you while we were waiting to board last Saturday. If I'd known it was you I'd have said something.

- Mike

Mike, That was definitely us on Thursday night at Palo. We had a 7:30 reservation and dinner was wonderful, as usual.

I'm trying to remember who was directly in front of us in line. My hubby was holding my dress for the majority of the waiting-in-line period as he thought it was easier for him to hold. He took a lot of ribbing for it. :) Many people commented on Thursday about him not wearing the dress he was holding on Saturday.

Beth.....that wasn't us. I believe what you're talking about was on Monday? They were the couple who was supposed to get married in Key West but since we didn't go they ended up doing something on deck on Monday instead. I saw the couple you're referring to. I believe they had two daughters dressed in green? Our ceremony was on Thursday at 4:45pm with us taking pictures right after throughout the ship and in the lobby. No bubbles though.
