If I would like to add a welcome dinner to my celebration should I go through my Wedding Planner or is there another avenue for planning this event???

We are having an Escape Ceremony and I would like to add an Welcome Dinner the night before at California Grill.

Thanks

bump my lonely question...in hopes of a response....

I'm not entirely sure, but depending on your group size you might be able to set something up on your own. Or maybe you could call magical gatherings, if they still do that or just shoot an email to your planner about it.

That's the best I've got. Not sure how much it will help.

It's a Wednesday in February...that's prbably the most detail I have given about my DFTW on the boards ever...

So I am answering my own question....just in case another bride every has this same question...more than 20 people you have to book through private dining...up to and including 19 you book through Disney Dining...but if you have the more than 20 and are having a wedding you can add it on through your planner...going through the planner requires an addendum to your original contract and an additional deposit...in addition there is a menu and anyone that wants a look just let me know and I will email it to you...nikisha

I am not sure if there is one available or if it fits your families needs but we are getting married on a Tuesday and the night before we scheduled a magical gathering. If there is more then 14 people in your party you can book it and each person can use their food plan to cover the cost of it. My family was looking for a way to save money so we booked it for the night before the wedding. It consists of a dinner show at Epcot and then a dessert party while you watch the illuminatins show. Each member of your party just needs to call and give the gatherings number and their room reservation to get added to the list. This way it isn't costing me anything other then 2 meals off my food plan. This may not work for everyone but my family wanted us to save costs somewhere. This worked for us since the day of the wedding no one needed to use their meal plan points anyway. Just an idea!
