Weirdest names for people...(Inspired by the cat name thread)

I know someone whose GIVEN name is Bubba. Not his nickname, but the name on his birth certificate. And he lives up to it too!

I know 2 Autumns. They were born in winter.:p One of my friend's middle name is November. She was born in October though.

My DS exwife was named Auntumn Day. He also had a classmate who's name was Sunny Summers.

I've seen Marni (Tuesday in French I believe), Lunes, and Martes (days of the week in Spanish)

Mardi (as in Mardi Gras) is French for Tuesday :)

Oops, I did mean Mardi... thought I typed that. My bridemaid in my wedding was named Mardi.

I know parents who named their son Canyon. Obviously they like it, but I don't.

Something kind of weird, not the name...it's Shirley....but I know a married couple that BOTH are named Shirley. I just call them "Mr. Shirley" and "Mrs. Shirley"

Another name I don't like, Dimitrius...or Dimitry.

The family in the unit a few doors down have 3 kids named:

Hickory, Autumn, and Mary(???)

I have a friend who named her son Declan Malone.

I had a waitress at Ham's once and her name was Chocolate, she said her Daddy named her that because "everybody likes chocolate".

In my daughter's dance class last year there was a Koehna pronounce Kaana? and her brother Kiler?

I prefer the more traditional names. DH's greatgrandmother's name was Zelma Zachary - now I just could NOT name DD Zelma, but I named DS Zachary, It seems after I named him that name became so popular and trendy- oh well. DD is Charlotte.

I love this thread!

My mother went to school with a girl named Ima Hogg. How sad is that?

And I swear this one is true....a girl whose name is pronounced "Fuh-Molly"...spelled FEMALE!!

I'm not lying when I say this. When I was in high school (10years ago) all of my friends had weird names. I used to get teased by my family because I was the only one with a normal name (Kimberly) Okay here go the names.

Negest
Teslyn
Empra
Trumpett
Shadawn
Garland
Nissim
Nekeshi
Adolphus
Ametes
Jovell

I told you I'm not lying!!!

I know a woman that named her daugheter Cricket!

I have a freind named Cinnamon.

Also know someone who named their daughter Nevaeh (Heaven spelled backward).

I, personally, like more traditional names! (I always woryy about the kids who will NEVER find anything personalized with their name!)

I bet I can top all of you with this one (but I'm sure the spelling will be sensored...) We had a patient come into our office & signed in & we had to call her name out loud when it was time for her to fill out new patient paper work. Well, we all kept pushing it off on each other & then some of us took off for the restroom because her name was too embarrassing to call out. We left the supervisor out there to do our dirty work & we all died laughing when we heard her call out "******" nice & loud! ::yes:: This person approached the window & said "it's pronounced VA-GEENA." It was spelled "******" though! :rotfl:  As I said, the rest of the office staff was just dying hiding behind the reception wall & laughing! (Sorry for the sensored word!)

Also, I went to school with an Ontario, Canada!

My friend went to school with a Rusty Pipe! Imagine going thru life with that name.....of course I'd pick that one over the above mentioned name anyday!!

Do I win a prize???? :hyper:

Oh Mishetta! I think you're in the lead! Who on earth would do that to their child?! My ds8 goes to school with a sweet little girl named Timber Wolf!:)

Girls:
