Aww! I liked it, but that was back in the day before everything at Disney was an ICON. It was just the castle to most people, so decorating it up like a birthday cake was kind of fun.
I think the people who got married at Disney (also many less than now!) had a right to complain. For us, it was a fun and different way of seeing the castle.

THE MOST DISTURBING THING I've EVER seen at WDW was something I was too shocked to take a picture of.We were sitting on the monorail when this lady got on, sat down, took off her flip flops & started rubbing her BARE FEET up & down the stand up bars!!!!!!!!!!!!

NO LIE! She was leaning back & noticed me staring at her in disgust. She said, "Oh my gosh, I'm SO HOT, & this cold bar feels wonderful on my swollen feet." I just sat there & nearly puked all over her hot, swollen feet.

That is just NASTY....This is one reason why I've always taught my son to never touch those monorail bars.
