:lmao: :rotfl2: Is this inspired by the original Little Mermaid picture??

Let me set the scene...lots of little princesses (and my little Prince Charming) in their royal best in the lobby of the GF. The pianist is playing beautiful renditions of Disney favorites. Well-dressed couples making their way to Victoria and Albert's. The picture of Disney elegance and sophistication.

Can you believe it?!?! Bare feet in the lobby!! I never!

Is that my Father in Law?? :laughing:

I think they were asking me since it's my user name, but I have no idea why you were quoted :confused3 :)

Yeah I quoted the wrong person, sorry! Lol and yes, am very familar, my girlfriend is a senior there right now, and I live about 20 minutes away!!

I just returned from Disney. While there I looked for Weird-Odd-Strange-Disturbing things to take pics of so I could post them here. Sadly I couldn't find a thing! Until one night I returned to my room to find some interesting towel art....

Of course the mousekeeper couldn't leave the toilet paper out of the act...

:rotfl::rotfl:

I've never seen that particular "style" of towel art before. Thanks for posting.

We arrive today for 11 nights; I'm sure I'll see something that fits in perfectly here...

Why yes, that is a nun in the Tower or Terror gift shop. :lmao:

Wouldn't doubt it. I went to Catholic HS and when we took a field trip to Dorney Park one year some of the sisters were on the roller coasters with the kids, and they wore (still wear) the black-and-white habits. There is a book out with pictures of nuns in the 40's and 50's in full habits on rides, swings, etc. it's called "Nuns having fun." Nuns are people too.

Oh, I wasn't implying nuns can't have fun. My father was a Protestant minister and that was one of the biggest misconceptions - that his life revolved around the church. Well, it did :lmao: but he was also a rabid sports fan, history buff and memorabilia collector who loved amusement parks (and Disney). So I know nuns enjoy themselves just as much as, uh.. non-nuns. I was just getting a visual of the habit flying upwards, and then I was wondering how it would stay on her head, and... yeah. I'll shut up now ;)

I'm thinking of Sally Field in The Flying Nun! :hippie:

I would have to by that ride picture just for the nun. LOL!
I too went to Catholic school and some of the nuns get really wild. :lmao:
