If anyone knows country and can get the idea of the type of country I am getting to like.....send me some ideas of some songs to download. I would like to make some cd's...........

I know, my DH thinks I am totally nuts!! He HATES country!!! And I know there is no way to recruit him!!!

Maybe this is part of my "mid-life" crisis??!!

I can't stand country music. My SO and my dd loves it. My SO won't let me watch Billy Ray's tv show. He got so tired of Achy Breaky Heart (I can stand watching the video to that country song ). My SIL is in love with Garth.

Lisa you are not alone. I use to hate country music but after living for 2 years in Tallahassee and 3 years in rural GA, I found myself unable to turn the station to anything else. Some of my favorites have already been mentioned. Love anything by Garth and Toby Keith (of course, I just love Toby Keith anyway). Also really like Mindy McCready, Lonestar, Martina McBride and Reba. Actually I think it was Reba who really got me hooked. I went to one of her concerts with a friend and just loved it.

You will not find them on any current country play lists, but The Mavericks are WONDERFUL! They were not exactly country enough to stay on the country format. And they were too country for rock. Their songs have a really good beat to them.
