Weird availability

We are going in June/July. Originally we booed our home resort, with the intention of resort hopping if we could get other resorts we wanted at the 7 month mark. What we wanted was not available, but now there seems to be a bunch of availability at resorts that were booked. VGF, VWL, BLT all had days available. So excited, but found it odd that so much was now available.

That's good to know... We're looking to close on our BC contract in the next few weeks. I hope to find several days available at BC, BWV, or BLT during July.

Right now BC does not have much they have a week available in the beginning of July and the rest is just 1 or 2 nights.
Boardwalk garden view has quite a bit available. Standard and Boardwalk View just 1 and 2 nighters.
BLT Lake View has a lot of availability, standard and theme not so much. Lake View was almost all booked and now almost the whole month is open. Strange.

Congratulations on getting the resort you really wanted!

The owners of those resorts, probably just switched late. Or some may have cancelled the trip completely. I am pretty sure that many members go ahead and book dates that might work for the family and later change or cancel them outright when conflicts occur. That is why so many members have their wait lists come through within a couple of weeks after the 7 month mark.
