Day 7: Went for an early lunch at Epcot. We were just doing a few things in Future World so that's where we ate. We went to the Electric Umbrella & both go bacon cheeseburger/fry combo meals. The burgers were nice & hot & I think EU has a pretty good condiment station. We got chocolate chip cookies for dessert which we ate later in the day. They weren't made there-they were prepackaged but nice & soft. Almost forgot about our stop at MGM. Didn't want anything to eat, but to drink.. Another must do for us is the peanut butter & jelly shake from 50's Prime Time. We used to go there for lunch & order one. Then we figured out that you can go to the bar there & order one to go. Nice size & delicious & filling. Dinner was at O'hanas. That was the last ADR we made & I'm so glad we did. Our table was kind of out in the open as we were only a party of 2. Did have a nice view though. The service was good-they kind of tag team you-always someone around though. The fried wantons came out first with the dipping sauces-all three were good, although the peanut sauce was not my favorite as I thought it might be. Before we could have a chip or two, here came the salad. Mixed greens with a lite honey lime vinegrette dressing. I had too much of that. Before we could even finish our first helping of salad, out came the sweet & sour shrimp-which were really good-& I don't care about shrimp-& then stir fried veggies which sad to say were never touched. Just started to peel some shrimp, here come the maui scalloped potatos. The food just came out way too fast. Next they came around with pork sausage & turkey, which were good. Then finally the steak & asian pork. Both were good, but I like my meat very rare but I understand you can't really be picky when it's served like it is. Asked for extra potatos & only a little more meat & pork. Didn't really have the room as we just should have taken our time a little more. Next time we'll know better. Dessert!!! Pineapple bread pudding with banana foster sauce & vanilla ice cream. I was dying to try this & it was worth it. I didn't want to share mine with DH & I know we could have asked for more, but to be perfectly honest, I didn't want to make myself sick!!! The entertainment is ok I guess. Kind of fun to watch the kids. Might have been a different experience if we were with more people. The food was really good & it is now on our list of return places to eat.
DAY 8: last day wah, wah, wah....Last day we usually hop around & say goodbye to all our parks & rides. Went to AK & Flame Tree BBQ again. Both got the pork sandwiches & this is what I find strange sometimes... Wanted a corn muffin $1.53 didn't want any dessert $3.79..wouldn't give me the muffin in place of it. I know they have to follow the rules set for them, but a $2.00 cheaper item instead-whatever, that muffin is soo good not a problem to pay for it. Went to MK to spend the rest of the day-just snacked on sweet cream cheese stuffed pretzels & a frozen cherry drink from Lunching Pad. Sad to say time to head out to the airport, but not before one last stop. Went to Goofy's & made the rice krispy treat thingys for home. It lasted 3 days & a build your own frozen drink cup. How fun, mine is Mickey of course. Dinner was at Earl of Sandwich. We had wanted to try it the whole trip & we had 2 CS credits left-perfect. Dh got the full montage which was roast beef & turkey, cheddar & swiss cheese, lettuce, tomato & a mustard sauce. I got the Ultimate Grilled Cheese which was four different types of cheese ( can't remember all 4, but bleu cheese & swiss were 2) tomato & bacon. The bread is so fresh & they make everything to order. There were so many choices I had the hardest time deciding. Will definately go back there. Came with a drink & dessert. DH got a cc cookie & I got a cupcake with frosting & sprinkles which I wisely saved for the plane ride home which I know other people were eyeing. It was huge.
Well, that's it for the food marathon. Overall, I don't think I would change anything that we did. Happy with all our restaurant choices & I feel we would go back to them all. Snacks too, can't beat the snacks. Just for a little
DDP info, we paid I think about $535 or so for the plan & when I added up all our receipts (without alcohol) it came to $823? Yes worth the money, but gee wizz that was alot of food. Could have done without some of the apps at TS & some of the desserts at CS. Other than that, we were happy & would have paid OOP for everything else. OK, anyone else full now besides me? Time to go for a walk...Next Weight Watchers meeting is coming soon

Have to get this weight off so I can start planning my ADRs for next year

Enjoy the reviews!!!!!
