Had a quick question I know a lot of rides and Adventure Island of Universal have weight or size limit's. Do you know where I could find a list for MK ones. When I went to AI with the friend that is coming with us to MK for our Princess weekend there were a few rides she wasn't able to ride so I would like to try and not say I want to go on blah blah blah when we all couldn't ride.

To my knowledge, there aren't any. If you search for pooh sized then you should find several threads about it. But my BFF is a bigger girl and had no problems. though she did avoid anything that spins since she can't handle spinning.

I'm not a small girl & went to wdw & ioa a year ago and had no problems riding anything. I'm a 1X hope that helps.

Disney has height restrictions only.

I used to wear a size 30/32 pant (women's) so I was quite large. I had no problems fitting on any ride whatsoever. All seat belts were able to be buckled, fit in all smaller rides like space mountain. Disney is VERY pooh friendly. Only problem I ever had was getting through some of the turnstiles into the rides but as long as I went in sideways it was fine.

Lucky for me I have worked very hard and will be going to Disney this summer in a size 12 pant so I can't wait to see how different the experience is for me!:cool1:

I'm a big guy, wearing 3X shirts. I honeymooned at WDW in 2012 and was able to get on everything I wanted, which was pretty much everything except Splash Mountain (it was down for some reason). However, I've been to Disneyland a great number of times and was always comfortable on Splash Mountain.

Just wanted to say congrats to you! That is awesome. All of your hard work paid off! :cheer2:

if you go on allears.net then click on the section for theme parks. scroll down and look on the left side under attractions for the sections called "wdw at large". it will have descriptions and some pics and reviews for pooh size people. it was a big help for me.

My son-in-law is 6"8" and 360 lbs. He rides everything but asks for front on Space Mountain & Rockin' Roller Coaster too allow enough leg room.

My parents are larger and the only two problems they've had were at the Sum of All Thrills in Innoventions at Epcot and the turnstiles at the Carousel of Progress, but if you ask to go through the handicap rope thing CMs are more than happy to help.. it just might be a little embarrassing/awkward for some.

at first asking to go thru the handicap gate instead of turnstile is a little embarrassing, but I have found that as you walk up, I just make eye contact with cast member and kinda smile and point towards the gate and they know what I need without me having to actually ask usually. I am sure they run into this all the time. they have always gladly just opened the gate for me and off I went without a problem.

Thanks so much! I just hope that I don't pack it all back on when we go this summer. Those dang desserts just call to me at Disney!:rotfl2:

I don't think weight is an issue, but height can be....I tried to go on virtual space mountain at Disney Quest and was kindly turned away (the shoulder restraints wouldn't lock....they were kind and offered me a fast pass to the pirates game thing....

I don't have a problem with the turnstile at Carousel of Progress, but Sum of All Thrills in Innoventions at Epcot is a tight fit sometimes. The overhead restaint is not a problem, but getting my rear end and thighs in there is a tight fit. I'm 5'6" and wear a size 20, but carry most of my weight in my stomach, rear end, and thighs. Funny things is, I don't have a problem fitting into the Harry Potter Forbidden Journey ride over at Universal, as long as I get an end seat.

The teacups can be a little tight.

My biggest issue is the walkiing...and walking...and walking. I take that back. Its the standing...and the standing...and the standing.

For whatever reason, Monsters, Inc. is unbearable! I stand there and hear over and over again about texting jokes...and think why isn't there a place to sit down! I then feel my feet throb throughout the whole show.

The rides at IOA are definitely harder than rides at WDW. Different sorts of rides, though. Without knowing what rides she had issues with (and what rides she didn't) it's hard to say with 100% sureness that she won't have problems, but I'd say if she could go on anything at IOA she likely won't have problems at WDW.

OH gosh, you probably won't. :) But hey, if you do gain a few, you know EXACTLY what to do to lose it again. Right? Right! :goodvibes

Thank you everyone! When going to IOA I felt bad that she had to sit out while both our families enjoyed the rides but she did enjoy the coddle time with my little Princess who was 9 months at the time! I feel so blessed to have a friend like her that would go down with me on our princess weekend just to help me drive and of course experience Rosa's reaction now that she is such a HUGE Princess fanatic! I didn't want to make her have hurt feels.

I'm quite chubby, uh pooh sized, at the present moment, I had no issues getting on any of the rides... luckily I started a workout regimine a few months before we left (and still doing it) - because stamina will be most overweight people's problems...

Her main issue will be walking all day / standing in lines - the rides however shouldn't be an issue..

I started walking daily and doing some cross training and this trip I had a lot more energy and lasted all day without my feet hurting.. it was a huge difference and worth all the hard work!
