We are looking at buying a bunch of groceries for our October trip to WDW and I came across this promotion at WeGoShop where you can buy a $200 gift certificate for $125. I was just curious if anyone else has purchased this and whether they had any problems.

Having to wait 6 months before a gift certificate can be used is very strange. As much as I would love to get a great discount like that, it certainly raises an eyebrow. Why would they take your money now and then restrict the use of the gift certificate for 6 months? Sounds to me like a company with cash flow problems and I would be worried that they won't be around 6 months from now to deliver my groceries. Instead of saving $75, I could be out $125. I'm not willing to take that kind of risk with my vacation money, even though I have plans to be in Disney this fall.

We have always used Garden Grocer but I was notified of this promotion by my cousin who knew it would work for our summer family trip. I purchased in early December, but it cannot be used for 6 months. I am not sure if this is a promotion WeGoShop has had in the past or not. However with this current Gift Certificate, no one will have used it till at least June so there may not be anyone with first hand experience.

As I say I purchased it and know that Wegoshop has a good reputation by others who post so I feel confident that things will go well.

If they have run the promotion in the past hopefully someone else will chime in as to how it went.

WeGoShop is a really reputable company, there is no real worry that they'll go belly up before you can use the gift certificate. I spoke to Amy who runs the WGS that services the Disney resort area. The promotion is a company wide one and she said her franchise will definitely be honoring the deal. And if you don't use the full $200 amount on one trip, it can carry over to a second trip as long as it's within that six month timeframe. Thanks for posting this, it works perfectly for our August and December trips this year!
