Anyone know anything about this area in Florida? Anything anyone can tell me would be greatly appreciated.
 
Growing up in the Tampa area we went often. The park is very small but can be a full day with the water park. It’s mostly like a nature preserve with a neat, very old Florida mermaid show. The water park is built on the natural spring. It’s fun but nothing crazy if you’re looking for a crazy jam packed day. There are maybe five small-medium slides… Also if wildlife IN the water isn’t your thing, skip it. It’s fairly cheap, but does reach capacity on summer days.
 

This is a blast from the past. Visited in summer of 1972 on the same trip as my first visit to WDW. I had totally forgotten about this place and I guess I would have assumed it was long gone.
