Hi!

I posted this on Theme Parks but it was suggested I post over here. We (me, dh, 13 y/o) have been to WDW 35+ times - including just two weeks ago. Our teen is being honored at a ceremony in Gainesville and we've decided to make a long weekend (Thursday night, all day Fri/Sat).

It looks like my sister and her two little ones (almost 18 months, almost 3 - within two weeks when we go) will be able to come with us. My sister goes with us every few years but this will be the first trip for the little ones. We're super happy about that! We adore the babies and see them about once a month.

Obviously, it's been a long time since we've gone with little ones. It'll be their first and although short, it's a good time to go - both are free - and my sister will get to support my daughter when she gets her award.

I guess I'm looking for suggestions on what especially they'll like, what to avoid. I know we'll have to go slowly and take things in. We tend to do that anyway.

We're paying for this trip and I think we'll get my sister a 2 day PH (we have PAP's). We'll have two full days - but want to take things at their pace. I'm planning on getting a couple rooms at a value - Pop probably - no DDP on anything. Probably just one character meal - Crystal Palace if we can get it.

Any helpful tips? I just have no clue how they'll do or what they can even ride. I'm thinking right now one day at the MK (allowing for a good break) and one day at ____. Just not sure - dh thinks AK, I think DHS. Our favorite park is Epcot so we may stroll around one evening. We know we can't possibly see much at all - but this will be the first of many trips for the kids I'm sure.

Thanks.

My girls were 3.5 and 13 months when we went last and here is a list of favorites based on park

MK- Most rides in Fantasyland like Pooh ride, Poohs playground, Peter Pan, Small World, Carrousel, Dumbo and the things in Mickey's Toontown

Epcot- Nemo ride and splashing in the interactive fountains between Test Track and Mission Space

DHS- Playhouse Disney and Honey I shrunk the kids play area.

AK- They did not care for much but Triceratop Spin. My oldest isn't much for animals or birds so all the birds there really spoiled her (and our) mood.

You will find that as long as they are fed and rested it wont take much to keep them happy. And if all else fails they always love the playground at the resort!!
Have a great trip!!!
