Weekend before the MLK weekend or after?

DH & ! are planning an anniversary trip - it will be 10 yrs since he proposed infront of Cindy's castle Jan 25th. I do not want to go over MLK weekend. But which do you think is better the WE before or after?

We've been both of those weeks, and frankly, it isn't going to make much difference. MLK weekend makes the weekend itself a bit busier than normal, but the rest of the days will be fine.

We went the last weekend of January this year and it was very slow and the weather was awesome!!! We took a short adult only thursday-sunday trip and were very happy with the crowds or lack there of

That is what this vaca will be - Thurs - Monday just us two. I am looking at whichever one I can get a babysitter!

The weekend after. I just booked yesterday and almost everything was available. Just a couple of room types were not available for the whole week. I pretty much had a huge selection and I booked (Jan.16-Feb.1) -- I went with OKW-HH to stretch the points. I couldn't believe I got HH location for that stretch of time.

I was even able to book a GV at OKW for the last week of January recently, so I'm sure it's going to be pretty slow.
