MBW said:The book is on travelling with special needs kids, in particular, those with "invisible" or neurological disabilities. We have two sons who are autistic (and two daughters who are neurologically typical), and we saw the opportunity present itself, and just took it.
We don't leave for two months (June 1st), but preparatons are getting more intense. We still haven't settled on a travel trailer (I looked at more today), and we need to hurry up, as we have to have a two-way satellite installed before leaving (DH works for a local university and will be "remoting" for the year.) The house goes onto the market next week, if I can get that final coat of paint on this weekend. Ugh. So much to do, but all for a great cause.
We'e only making solid reservations in Florida at this point. Most other places we'll camp at national forests or state parks. But I really wanted a few weeks in WD, and we al know the preparation that entails.
You can follow our exploits on our blog. I haven't posted for a week as I'm still awaiting the return of my PC (my husband's use an alien operating sysem, Unix) but will catch up hopefully soon.
That is really great! Enjoy your planning and good luck with all those "little details." Haha
I will check your blog regularly.

Having cake for dessert with various candles on it for the 2 b'day boys and 2 b'day girls. Anyone know if they'll "let" you sing Happy Birthday? (Or do they get annoyed?)
We are definitely going to be in Epcot and eat at Akershus for either lunch or dinner, but I'm leaning towards dinner. Suggestions appreciated, especially from those who've been there since the conversion to Princess meals!
