Week of November 27th??

I'm thinking about this week...last year we took our first ever family trip to WDW 12/3-12/11 (during Pop Warner week). We stayed at the WL, so we didn't have any issues regarding football players/cheerleaders.

We were also blessed with BEAUTIFUL weather. We're from the Saratoga, NY area, and anything would have felt warm, but the whole week was great!! One day of on & off rain (but we were at MGM, so it wasn't a big deal). One day was HOT-mid 80's & muggy. All of the other days were in the upper 70's, low 80's-it was just beautiful!! The only issue I had with this week is it messed me up with being prepared for the holidays (take away 2 weekends in Dec.-yikes!!). But ya know what...I got over it!! I'd much rather go to Disney...
I just found out that I got a week-long consultant job that pays enough to cover the majority of a trip to Disney...I'm thinking about springing the news to my husband that I want to use the money for ANOTHER TRIP!!

We're staying at ASMo too! Nov 27-Dec 4. I've requested Toy Story because my DS (almost 3 when we go) is totally into Buzz!

I think we're going to have to plan to have a mini DIS meet somewhere during this week...anyone up for it?

OK, we're Nov 28-Dec 4 also at ASMo (Toy Story) though I may upgrade us if/when AP rates come out for this time period. We REALLY enjoy ASMo and the bus svc has always been great! I'm so afraid to switch to a moderate and discover sharing a bus w/ another hotel is not a great ride to the parks! My children will be 6 and turning 3. Would be nice to hook up and say hello.

Have you stayed at ASMo's before? It's a great hotel. Maybe I'll just upgrade for the last 2 nights of our trip? I don't know. First....I have to get us prepared for our APRIL Trip!!! The Dec trip was a bonu as dh has a conf 12/4-12/10.

Remember that CRT now has a character lunch also. We won't see EMH hours released until after it's time to make PSs, sometime after September 1 if they hold to the same pattern. I haven't watched the early hours because we're one of those families that just doesn't want to get up at some ungodly hour on vacation and that's part of the reason we're going at a slower time but I have been watching the evening hours and they're pretty much the same at slower times. If you go back and check out most of January and February and March, ignoring things like President's week, you should be able to figure out pretty closely what the early hours will be. If they drastically change something there will be just as many people getting out of PSs to avoid the EMH park of the day as people wanting to get PSs to take advantage of it too so you should have a good chance at getting what you want. Also keep in mind if you're only watching for MK that with MCMCP going on on Sunday, Tues, Thurs and Friday, at least I think that's what the days are something isn't sounding right now that I've written them though LOL, more than likely they won't have early morning hours on those days.

Hi! We'll be there with a 5.5 and 2.5 boy and girl then! We plan to be Toy Story on Nov 26th and then we move to AKL for the remainder of the trip.

We'll be at ASMovies 11/26 and 11/27, then we move to WL until 12/4 or 12/5. Haven't decided it yet Our kids will be 7 and 2 by the time we check in on 11/26. The youngest one will be celebrating bday while down there.

Me, Me! Although I'm only staying until December 1. Someone asked about location-we had a meet one afternoon at the Land Food Court. And one evening, DH and I watched Illuminations at a spot to keep in mind for a meet-we grabbed food at Tangerine Cafe and sat in the outdoor cafe there while we watched Illuminations. Granted, it wasn't the greatest view, but no one else was there! Is there a Magical Gathering thing available?

Anybody for this week made anymore plans yet? I am still trying to figure out the from/to hopping part, but it's hard without knowing the EMH. Anyone else staying at ASMo this week? We requested the Dalmatians buildings. Anybody happen to know if the refillable mugs include coffee refills? That's all dh will drink--no soda or anything else. I've heard the resort coffee stinks...true? Healthier options at the food court? I've heard they carry some salads and fruits. How is the Donald gift shop (forgot the full name of it)? How warm is the pool water when heated? Can anyone tell me about Hidden Mickeys at ASMo? Or any other fun "secret" ASMo stuff?
Looks like we are still going to MVMCP on Friday December 2nd. Anyone else?

I haven't made any more plans. I'm just waiting to start making PSs and it's still a looooooooong time before we can do that. I wish it would hurry up and get here! At least I've got my reservations made and my deposits paid so now I'm done questioning my resort choices. I told myself once they were made that's it, no changing! Of course if I'd win the lotto I'd add 3 nights at the Yacht Club before WL. That's not changing, that's adding. <g>

We will be there too the week of the 27th, theres 12 of us plus a 4 month old (He'll be born in Septemeber). We can't wait, all these threads get us so excited and we have sooo long to go! We plan on doing the party on Tuesday and possibly thursday too!
